사무엘상 18:1-19:24

 요나단은 다윗과 두터운 우정을 맺었으나 사울은 다윗을 두려워하여 그를 제거하려 하였다. 사울은 딸 미갈을 다윗과 결혼시켜 그를 죽이려고 시도했다. 그러나 다윗은 요나단과 미갈의 도움으로 위험에서 벗어났다. 다윗이 사무엘에게 피하자 사울은 사람을 보내 그를 잡으려 하였으나, 하나님께서 다윗을 보호하셨다.
  
  사울의 질투(18:1-18:30)    
 
  1. ダビデ が サウル に 語り 終えた 時， ヨナタン の 心は ダビデ の 心に 結びつき， ヨナタン は 自分の 命のように ダビデ を 愛した．
  2. この 日， サウル は ダビデ を 召しかかえて， 父の 家に 歸らせなかった．
  3. ヨナタン と ダビデ とは 契約を 結んだ． ヨナタン が 自分の 命のように ダビデ を 愛したからである．
  4. ヨナタン は 自分が 着ていた 上着を 脫いで ダビデ に 與えた． また， そのいくさ 衣， およびつるぎも 弓も 帶も， そのようにした．
  5. ダビデ はどこでも サウル がつかわす 所に 出て 行って， てがらを 立てたので， サウル は 彼を 兵の 隊長とした． それはすべての 民の 心にかない， また サウル の 家來たちの 心にもかなった．
  1. Now it came about when he had finished speaking to Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as himself.
  2. Saul took him that day and did not let him return to his father's house.
  3. Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself.
  4. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David, with his armor, including his sword and his bow and his belt.
  5. So David went out wherever Saul sent him, and prospered; and Saul set him over the men of war. And it was pleasing in the sight of all the people and also in the sight of Saul's servants.
  1. 人¿が 引き 揚げてきた 時， すなわち ダビデ が， かの ペリシテ びとを 殺して 歸った 時， 女たちは イスラエル の 町¿から 出てきて， 手鼓と 祝い 歌と 三絲の 琴をもって， 歌いつ 舞いつ， サウル 王を 迎えた．
  2. 女たちは 踊りながら 互に 歌いかわした， ／「サウル は 千を 擊ち 殺し， ／ ダビデ は 万を 擊ち 殺した 」．
  3. サウル は， ひじょうに 怒り， この 言葉に 氣を 惡くして 言った， 「ダビデ には 万と 言い， わたしには 千と 言う． この 上， 彼に 與えるものは， 國のほかないではないか 」．
  4. サウル は， この 日からのち ダビデ をうかがった．
  5. 次の 日， 神から 來る 惡靈が サウル にはげしく 臨んで， サウル が 家の 中で 狂いわめいたので， ダビデ は， いつものように， 手で 琴をひいた． その 時， サウル の 手にやりがあったので，
  1. It happened as they were coming, when David returned from killing the Philistine, that the women came out of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul, with tambourines, with joy and with musical instruments.
  2. The women sang as they played, and said, "Saul has slain his thousands, And David his ten thousands."
  3. Then Saul became very angry, for this saying displeased him; and he said, "They have ascribed to David ten thousands, but to me they have ascribed thousands. Now what more can he have but the kingdom?"
  4. Saul looked at David with suspicion from that day on.
  5. Now it came about on the next day that an evil spirit from God came mightily upon Saul, and he raved in the midst of the house, while David was playing the harp with his hand, as usual; and a spear was in Saul's hand.
  1. サウル は「ダビデ を 壁に 刺し 通そう 」と 思って， そのやりをふり 上げた． しかし ダビデ は 二度身をかわして サウル を 避けた．
  2. 主が サウル を 離れて， ダビデ と 共におられたので， サウル は ダビデ を 恐れた．
  3. それゆえ サウル は， ダビデ を 遠ざけて， 千人の 長としたので， ダビデ は 民の 先に 立って 出入りした．
  4. また ダビデ は， すべてそのすることに， てがらを 立てた． 主が 共におられたからである．
  5. サウル は ダビデ が 大きなてがらを 立てるのを 見て 彼を 恐れたが，
  1. Saul hurled the spear for he thought, "I will pin David to the wall." But David escaped from his presence twice.
  2. Now Saul was afraid of David, for the LORD was with him but had departed from Saul.
  3. Therefore Saul removed him from his presence and appointed him as his commander of a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.
  4. David was prospering in all his ways for the LORD was with him.
  5. When Saul saw that he was prospering greatly, he dreaded him.
  1. イスラエル と ユダ のすべての 人は ダビデ を 愛した． 彼が 民の 先に 立って 出入りしたからである．
  2. その 時 サウル は ダビデ に 言った， 「わたしの 長女 メラブ を， あなたに 妻として 與えよう． ただ， あなたはわたしのために 勇ましく， 主の 戰いを 戰いなさい 」． サウル は「自分の 手で 彼を 殺さないで， ペリシテ びとの 手で 殺そう 」と 思ったからである．
  3. ダビデ は サウル に 言った， 「わたしは 何者なのでしょう． わたしの 親族， わたしの 父の 一族は イスラエル のうちで 何者なのでしょう． そのわたしが， どうして 王のむこになることができましょう 」．
  4. しかし サウル の 娘 メラブ は， ダビデ にとつぐべき 時になって， メホラ びと アデリエル に 妻として 與えられた．
  5. サウル の 娘 ミカル は ダビデ を 愛した． 人¿がそれを サウル に 告げたとき， サウル はその 事を 喜んだ．
  1. But all Israel and Judah loved David, and he went out and came in before them.
  2. Then Saul said to David, "Here is my older daughter Merab; I will give her to you as a wife, only be a valiant man for me and fight the LORD'S battles " For Saul thought, "My hand shall not be against him, but let the hand of the Philistines be against him."
  3. But David said to Saul, "Who am I, and what is my life or my father's family in Israel, that I should be the king's son-in-law?"
  4. So it came about at the time when Merab, Saul's daughter, should have been given to David, that she was given to Adriel the Meholathite for a wife.
  5. Now Michal, Saul's daughter, loved David. When they told Saul, the thing was agreeable to him.
  1. サウル は「ミカル を 彼に 與えて， 彼を 欺く 手だてとし， ペリシテ びとの 手で 彼を 殺そう 」と 思ったので， サウル はふたたび ダビデ に 言った， 「あなたを， きょう， わたしのむこにします 」．
  2. そして サウル は 家來たちに 命じた， 「ひそかに ダビデ に 言いなさい， 『王はあなたが 氣に 入り， 王の 家來たちも 皆あなたを 愛しています． それゆえ 王のむこになりなさい 』」．
  3. そこで サウル の 家來たちはこの 言葉を ダビデ の 耳に 語ったので， ダビデ は 言った， 「わたしのような 貧しく， 卑しい 者が， 王のむこになることは， あなたがたには， たやすいことと 思われますか 」．
  4. サウル の 家來たちは サウル に， 「ダビデ はこう 言った 」と 告げた．
  5. サウル は 言った， 「あなたがたは ダビデ にこう 言いなさい， 『王はなにも 結納を 望まれない． ただ ペリシテ びとの 陽の 皮一百を 獲て， 王のあだを 討つことを 望まれる 』」． これは サウル が， ダビデ を ペリシテ びとの 手によって 倒そうと 思ったからである．
  1. Saul thought, "I will give her to him that she may become a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him " Therefore Saul said to David, "For a second time you may be my son-in-law today."
  2. Then Saul commanded his servants, "Speak to David secretly, saying, 'Behold, the king delights in you, and all his servants love you; now therefore, become the king's son-in-law.'"
  3. So Saul's servants spoke these words to David. But David said, "Is it trivial in your sight to become the king's son-in-law, since I am a poor man and lightly esteemed?"
  4. The servants of Saul reported to him according to these words which David spoke.
  5. Saul then said, "Thus you shall say to David, 'The king does not desire any dowry except a hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to take vengeance on the king's enemies '" Now Saul planned to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
  1. サウル の 家來たちが， この 言葉を ダビデ に 告げた 時， ダビデ は 王のむこになることを 良しとした． そして 定めた 日がまだこないうちに，
  2. ダビデ は 從者をつれて， 立って 行き， ペリシテ びと 二百人を 殺して， その 陽の 皮を 携え 歸り， 王のむこになるために， それをことごとく 王にささげた． そこで サウル は 娘 ミカル を 彼に 妻として 與えた．
  3. しかし サウル は 見て， 主が ダビデ と 共におられること， また イスラエル のすべての 人が ダビデ を 愛するのを 知った 時，
  4. サウル は， ますます ダビデ を 恐れた． こうして サウル は 絶えず ダビデ に 敵した．
  5. さて ペリシテ びとの 君たちが 攻めてきたが， ダビデ は， 彼らが 攻めてくるごとに， サウル のどの 家來よりも 多くのてがらを 立てたので， その 名はひじょうに 尊敬された．
  1. When his servants told David these words, it pleased David to become the king's son-in-law. Before the days had expired
  2. David rose up and went, he and his men, and struck down two hundred men among the Philistines Then David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full number to the king, that he might become the king's son-in-law. So Saul gave him Michal his daughter for a wife.
  3. When Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal, Saul's daughter, loved him,
  4. then Saul was even more afraid of David. Thus Saul was David's enemy continually.
  5. Then the commanders of the Philistines went out to battle, and it happened as often as they went out, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul. So his name was highly esteemed.
 
  사울의 다윗 살해 시도(19:1-19:24)    
 
  1. サウル はその 子 ヨナタン およびすべての 家來たちに ダビデ を 殺すようにと 言った． しかし サウル の 子 ヨナタン は 深く ダビデ を 愛していた．
  2. ヨナタン は ダビデ に 言った， 「父 サウル はあなたを 殺そうとしています． それゆえあすの 朝， 氣をつけて， わからない 場所に 身を 隱していてください．
  3. わたしは 出て 行って， あなたがいる 野原で 父のかたわらに 立ち， 父にあなたのことを 話しましょう． そして， 何かわたしにわかれば， あなたに 告げましょう 」．
  4. ヨナタン は 父 サウル に ダビデ のことをほめて 言った， 「王よ， どうか 家來 ダビデ に 對して 罪を 犯さないでください． 彼は， あなたに 罪を 犯さず， また 彼のしたことは， あなたのためになることでした．
  5. 彼は 命をかけて， あの ペリシテ びとを 殺し， 主は イスラエル の 人¿に 大いなる 勝利を 與えられたのです． あなたはそれを 見て 喜ばれました． それであるのに， どうしてゆえなく ダビデ を 殺し， 罪なき 者の 血を 流して 罪を 犯そうとされるのですか 」．
  1. Now Saul told Jonathan his son and all his servants to put David to death But Jonathan, Saul's son, greatly delighted in David.
  2. So Jonathan told David saying, "Saul my father is seeking to put you to death. Now therefore, please be on guard in the morning, and stay in a secret place and hide yourself.
  3. "I will go out and stand beside my father in the field where you are, and I will speak with my father about you; if I find out anything, then I will tell you."
  4. Then Jonathan spoke well of David to Saul his father and said to him, "Do not let the king sin against his servant David, since he has not sinned against you, and since his deeds have been very beneficial to you.
  5. "For he took his life in his hand and struck the Philistine, and the LORD brought about a great deliverance for all Israel; you saw it and rejoiced Why then will you sin against innocent blood by putting David to death without a cause?"
  1. サウル は ヨナタン の 言葉を 聞きいれた． そして サウル は 誓った， 「主は 生きておられる． わたしは 決して 彼を 殺さない 」．
  2. ヨナタン は ダビデ を 呼んでこれらのことをみな ダビデ に 告げた． そして ヨナタン が ダビデ を サウル のもとに 連れてきたので， ダビデ は， もとのように サウル の 前にいた．
  3. ところがまた 戰爭がおこって， ダビデ は 出て ペリシテ びとと 戰い， 大いに 彼らを 殺したので， 彼らはその 前から 逃げ 去った．
  4. さて サウル が 家にいて 手にやりを 持ってすわっていた 時， 主から 來る 惡靈が サウル に 臨んだので， ダビデ は 琴をひいていたが，
  5. サウル はそのやりをもって ダビデ を 壁に 刺し 通そうとした． しかし 彼は サウル の 前に 身をかわしたので， やりは 壁につきささった． そして ダビデ は 逃げ 去った．
  1. Saul listened to the voice of Jonathan, and Saul vowed, "As the LORD lives, he shall not be put to death."
  2. Then Jonathan called David, and Jonathan told him all these words. And Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he was in his presence as formerly.
  3. When there was war again, David went out and fought with the Philistines and defeated them with great slaughter, so that they fled before him.
  4. Now there was an evil spirit from the LORD on Saul as he was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand, and David was playing the harp with his hand.
  5. Saul tried to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he slipped away out of Saul's presence, so that he stuck the spear into the wall. And David fled and escaped that night.
  1. その 夜， サウル は ダビデ の 家に 使者たちをつかわして 見張りをさせ， 朝になって 彼を 殺させようとした． しかし ダビデ の 妻 ミカル は ダビデ に 言った， 「もし 今夜のうちに， あなたが 自分の 命を 救わないならば， あすは 殺されるでしょう 」．
  2. そして ミカル が ダビデ を 窓からつりおろしたので， 彼は 逃げ 去った．
  3. ミカル は 一つの 像をとって， 寢床の 上に 橫たえ， その 頭にやぎの 毛の 網をかけ， 着物をもってそれをおおった．
  4. サウル は ダビデ を 捕えるため 使者たちをつかわしたが， 彼女は 言った， 「あの 人は 病氣です 」．
  5. そこで サウル は， ダビデ を 見させようと 使者たちをつかわして 言った， 「彼を 寢床のまま， わたしの 所に 連れてきなさい． わたしが 彼を 殺そう 」．
  1. Then Saul sent messengers to David's house to watch him, in order to put him to death in the morning. But Michal, David's wife, told him, saying, "If you do not save your life tonight, tomorrow you will be put to death."
  2. So Michal let David down through a window, and he went out and fled and escaped.
  3. Michal took the household idol and laid it on the bed, and put a quilt of goats' hair at its head, and covered it with clothes.
  4. When Saul sent messengers to take David, she said, "He is sick."
  5. Then Saul sent messengers to see David, saying, "Bring him up to me on his bed, that I may put him to death."
  1. 使者たちがはいって 見ると， 寢床には 像が 橫たえてあって， その 頭には， やぎの 毛の 網がかけてあった．
  2. サウル は ミカル に 言った， 「あなたはどうして， このようにわたしを 欺いて， わたしの 敵を 逃がしたのか 」． ミカル は サウル に 答えた， 「あの 人はわたしに『逃がしてくれ． さもないと， おまえを 殺す 』と 言いました 」．
  3. ダビデ は 逃げ 去り， ラマ にいる サムエル のもとへ 行って， サウル が 自分にしたすべてのことを 彼に 告げた． そして ダビデ と サムエル は 行って ナヨテ に 住んだ．
  4. ある 人が サウル に「ダビデ は ラマ の ナヨテ にいます 」と 告げたので，
  5. サウル は， ダビデ を 捕えるために， 使者たちをつかわした． 彼らは 預言者の 一群が 預言していて， サムエル が， そのうちの， かしらとなって 立っているのを 見たが， その 時， 神の 靈は サウル の 使者たちにも 臨んで， 彼らもまた 預言した．
  1. When the messengers entered, behold, the household idol was on the bed with the quilt of goats' hair at its head.
  2. So Saul said to Michal, "Why have you deceived me like this and let my enemy go, so that he has escaped?" And Michal said to Saul, "He said to me, 'Let me go! Why should I put you to death?'"
  3. Now David fled and escaped and came to Samuel at Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him And he and Samuel went and stayed in Naioth.
  4. It was told Saul, saying, "Behold, David is at Naioth in Ramah."
  5. Then Saul sent messengers to take David, but when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing and presiding over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul; and they also prophesied.
  1. サウル は， このことを 聞いて， 他の 使者たちをつかわしたが， 彼らもまた 預言した． サウル は 三たび 使者たちをつかわしたが， 彼らもまた 預言した．
  2. そこで サウル はみずから ラマ に 行き， セク の 大井戶に 着いた 時， 問うて 言った， 「サムエル と ダビデ は， どこにおるか 」． ひとりの 人が 答えた， 「彼らは ラマ の ナヨテ にいます 」．
  3. そこで サウル はそこから ラマ の ナヨテ に 行ったが， 神の 靈はまた 彼にも 臨んで， 彼は ラマ の ナヨテ に 着くまで 步きながら 預言した．
  4. そして 彼もまた 着物を 脫いで， 同じように サムエル の 前で 預言し， 一日一夜， 裸で 倒れ 伏していた． 人¿が「サウル もまた 預言者たちのうちにいるのか 」というのはこのためである．
  1. When it was told Saul, he sent other messengers, and they also prophesied. So Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they also prophesied.
  2. Then he himself went to Ramah and came as far as the large well that is in Secu; and he asked and said, "Where are Samuel and David?" And someone said, "Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah."
  3. He proceeded there to Naioth in Ramah; and the Spirit of God came upon him also, so that he went along prophesying continually until he came to Naioth in Ramah.
  4. He also stripped off his clothes, and he too prophesied before Samuel and lay down naked all that day and all that night Therefore they say, "Is Saul also among the prophets?"
