- またもろもろの 國民のなかにわれらを 笑い 草とし， もろもろの 民のなかに 笑い 者とされました．
- わがはずかしめはひねもすわたしの 前にあり， 恥はわたしの 顔をおおいました．
- これはそしる 者と， ののしる 者の 言葉により， 敵と， 恨みを 報いる 者のゆえによるのです．
- これらの 事が 皆われらに 臨みましたが， われらはあなたを 忘れず， あなたの 契約にそむくことがありませんでした．
- われらの 心はたじろがず， またわれらの 步みはあなたの 道を 離れませんでした．

- For the voice of him that reproacheth and blasphemeth; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
- All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
