사무엘하

  본서는 다윗의 통치를 통해 하나님을 대리하여 통치하는 신정 국가의 이상을 보여 주고 있다. 다윗이 하나님의 뜻을 따라 성실과 공의로 다스리는 모습을 기록함으로써 장차 왕으로 오실 그리스도의 통치를 보여 주고 있다. 아울러 다윗의 성공과 실패를 통하여 인생에 있어서의 성공의 관건은 하나님에 대한 신앙 유지에 있음을 가르쳐 준다.

  사울이 죽은 후 왕위에 등극한 다윗은 왕국의 기틀을 공고히 하기 위한 제반 조치와 함께 성공적인 정복 전쟁을 통해 영토를 애굽에서 유브라데까지 확장시킨다. 또한 다윗은 밧세바 사건으로 말미암아 갖가지 재난을 겪고, 여러 가지 사건들을 하나님의 은혜로 극복한다.

 

 

사무엘하 1:1-2:32

 사울과 요나단의 죽음을 전해 들은 다윗은 그들을 추모하는 애가를 지어 불렀다. 유다 지파의 왕으로 등극한 다윗은 사울을 장사한 야베스 사람들을 축복했다. 사울의 군장 아브넬이 사울의 아들 이스보셋을 왕으로 세움으로써 다윗의 집과 사울의 집 사이의 싸움은 계속되었다. 다윗의 군장 요압은 기브온 전투에서 아브넬에게 승리를 거두었으나 동생 아사헬을 잃었다.
  
  사울과 요나단의 죽음을 애도하는 다윗(1:1-1:27)    
 
  1. サウル が 死んだ 後のことである． ダビデ は アマレク 人を 討って ツィクラグ に 歸り， 二日過ごした．
  2. 三日目に， サウル の 陣營から 一人の 男がたどりついた． 衣服は 裂け， 頭に 土をかぶっていた． 男は ダビデ の 前に 出ると， 地にひれ 伏して 禮をした．
  3. ダビデ は 尋ねた． 「どこから 來たのだ． 」「イスラエル の 陣營から 逃れて 參りました 」と 彼は 答えた．
  4. 「狀況はどうか． 話してくれ 」と ダビデ は 彼に 言った． 彼は 言った． 「兵士は 戰場から 逃げ 去り， 多くの 兵士が 倒れて 死にました． サウル 王と 王子の ヨナタン も 亡くなられました． 」
  5. ダビデ は 知らせをもたらしたこの 若者に 尋ねた． 「二人の 死をどうして 知ったのか． 」
  1. Now it came to pass after the death of Saul, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, and David had abode two days in Ziklag;
  2. It came even to pass on the third day, that, behold, a man came out of the camp from Saul with his clothes rent, and earth upon his head: and so it was, when he came to David, that he fell to the earth, and did obeisance.
  3. And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.
  4. And David said unto him, How went the matter? I pray thee, tell me. And he answered, That the people are fled from the battle, and many of the people also are fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead also.
  5. And David said unto the young man that told him, How knowest thou that Saul and Jonathan his son be dead?
  1. この 若者は 答えた． 「わたしはたまたま ギルボア 山におりました． そのとき， サウル 王は 槍にもたれかかっておられましたが， 戰車と 騎兵が 王に 迫っていました．
  2. 王は 振り 返ってわたしを 御覽になり， お 呼びになりました． 『はい 』とお 答えすると，
  3. 『お 前は 何者だ 』とお 尋ねになり， 『アマレク の 者です 』とお 答えすると，
  4. 『そばに 來て， とどめを 刺してくれ． ぜ 攣が 起こったが 死にきれない 』と 言われました．
  5. そこでおそばに 行って， とどめを 刺しました． 倒れてしまわれ， もはや 生き 延びることはできまいと 思ったからです． 頭にかぶっておられた 王冠と 腕につけておられた 腕輪を 取って， 御主人樣に 持って 參りました． これでございます． 」
  1. And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.
  2. And when he looked behind him, he saw me, and called unto me. And I answered, Here am I.
  3. And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
  4. He said unto me again, Stand, I pray thee, upon me, and slay me: for anguish is come upon me, because my life is yet whole in me.
  5. So I stood upon him, and slew him, because I was sure that he could not live after that he was fallen: and I took the crown that was upon his head, and the bracelet that was on his arm, and have brought them hither unto my lord.
  1. ダビデ は 自分の 衣をつかんで 引き 裂いた． 共にいた 者は 皆それに 倣った．
  2. 彼らは， 劍に 倒れた サウル とその 子 ヨナタン ， そして 主の 民と イスラエル の 家を 悼んで 泣き， 夕暮れまで 斷食した．
  3. ダビデ は， 知らせをもたらした 若者に 尋ねた． 「お 前はどこの 出身か． 」「わたしは 寄留の アマレク 人の 子です 」と 彼は 答えた．
  4. ダビデ は 彼に 言った． 「主が 油を 注がれた 方を， 恐れもせず 手にかけ， 殺害するとは 何事か． 」
  5. ダビデ は 從者の 一人を 呼び， 「近寄って， この 者を 討て 」と 命じた． 從者は 彼を 打ち 殺した．
  1. Then David took hold on his clothes, and rent them; and likewise all the men that were with him:
  2. And they mourned, and wept, and fasted until even, for Saul, and for Jonathan his son, and for the people of the LORD, and for the house of Israel; because they were fallen by the sword.
  3. And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.
  4. And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to stretch forth thine hand to destroy the LORD's anointed?
  5. And David called one of the young men, and said, Go near, and fall upon him. And he smote him that he died.
  1. ダビデ は 言った． 「お 前の 流した 血はお 前の 頭に 返る． お 前自身の 口が， 『わたしは 主が 油を 注がれた 方を 殺した 』と 證言したのだから． 」

  4. イスラエル よ， 「麗しき 者 」は ／お 前の 高い 丘の 上で 刺し 殺された． ああ， 勇士らは 倒れた．
  5. ガト に 告げるな ／ アシュケロン の 街¿にこれを 知らせるな ／ ペリシテ の 娘らが 喜び 祝い ／割禮なき 者の 娘らが 喜び 勇むことのないように．
  1. And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD's anointed.
  2. And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son:
  3. (Also he bade them teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher.)
  4. The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen!
  5. Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.
  1. ギルボア の 山¿よ， いけにえを 求めた 野よ ／お 前たちの 上には 露も 結ぶな， 雨も 降るな． 勇士らの 盾がそこに 見捨てられ ／ サウル の 盾が 油も 塗られずに 見捨てられている．
  2. 刺し 殺した 者たちの 血 ／勇士らの 脂をなめずには ／ ヨナタン の 弓は 決して 退かず ／ サウル の 劍がむなしく 納められることもなかった．
  3. サウル と ヨナタン ， 愛され 喜ばれた 二人 ／鷲よりも 速く， 獅子よりも 雄¿しかった． 命ある 時も 死に 臨んでも ／二人が 離れることはなかった．
  4. 泣け， イスラエル の 娘らよ， サウル のために． 紅の 衣をお 前たちに 着せ ／お 前たちの 衣の 上に ／金の 飾りをおいた サウル のために．
  5. ああ， 勇士らは 戰いのさなかに 倒れた． ヨナタン は イスラエル の 高い 丘で 刺し 殺された．
  1. Ye mountains of Gilboa, let there be no dew, neither let there be rain, upon you, nor fields of offerings: for there the shield of the mighty is vilely cast away, the shield of Saul, as though he had not been anointed with oil.
  2. From the blood of the slain, from the fat of the mighty, the bow of Jonathan turned not back, and the sword of Saul returned not empty.
  3. Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.
  4. Ye daughters of Israel, weep over Saul, who clothed you in scarlet, with other delights, who put on ornaments of gold upon your apparel.
  5. How are the mighty fallen in the midst of the battle! O Jonathan, thou wast slain in thine high places.
  1. あなたを 思ってわたしは 悲しむ ／兄弟 ヨナタン よ， まことの 喜び ／女の 愛にまさる 驚くべきあなたの 愛を．
  2. ああ， 勇士らは 倒れた． 戰いの 器は 失われた．
  1. I am distressed for thee, my brother Jonathan: very pleasant hast thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.
  2. How are the mighty fallen, and the weapons of war perished!
 
  유다 왕이 된 다윗(2:1-2:32)    
 
  1. その 後 ダビデ は 主に 託宣を 求めて 言った． 「どこか ユダ の 町に 上るべきでしょうか． 」主は 言われた． 「上れ． 」更に ダビデ は 尋ねた． 「どこへ 上ればよいのでしょうか． 」「ヘブロン へ 」と 主はお 答えになった．
  2. そこで ダビデ は 二人の 妻， イズレエル の アヒノアム と カルメル の ナバル の 妻であった アビガイル を 連れて， ヘブロン へ 上った．
  3. ダビデ は 彼に 從っていた 兵をその 家族と 共に 連れて 上った． こうして 彼らは ヘブロン の 町¿に 住んだ．
  4. ユダ の 人¿はそこに 來て， ダビデ に 油を 注ぎ， ユダ の 家の 王とした． ギレアド の ヤベシュ の 人¿が サウル を 葬ったと 知らされたとき，
  5. ダビデ は ギレアド の ヤベシュ の 人¿に 使者を 送ってこう 言わせた． 「あなたがたが 主に 祝福されますように． あなたがたは 主君 サウル に 忠實を 盡くし， 彼を 葬りました．
  1. And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.
  2. So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite.
  3. And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
  4. And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.
  5. And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.
  1. 今， 主があなたがたに 慈しみとまことを 盡くしてくださいますように． わたしも， そうしたあなたがたの ¿きに 報いたいと 思います．
  2. 力を 奮い 起こし， 勇敢な 者となってください． あなたがたの 主君 サウル は 亡くなられましたが， ユダ の 家はこのわたしに 油を 注いで 自分たちの 王としました． 」
  3. サウル の 軍の 司令官， ネル の 子 アブネル は， サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェト を 擁立して マハナイム に 移り，
  4. 彼を ギレアド ， アシュル 人， イズレエル ， エフライム ， ベニヤミン ， すなわち 全 イスラエル の 王とした．
  5. サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェト は 四十歲で イスラエル の 王となり， 二年間王位にあった． だが， ユダ の 家は ダビデ に 從った．
  1. And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.
  2. Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.
  3. But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;
  4. And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.
  5. Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.
  1. ダビデ が ユダ の 家の 王として ヘブロン にとどまった 期間は 七年六か 月であった．
  2. ネル の 子 アブネル は， サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェト の 家臣と 共に マハナイム を 出て， ギブオン に 向かった．
  3. 一方， ツェルヤ の 子 ヨアブ と ダビデ の 家臣も 出陣した． 兩軍は ギブオン の 池で 出會い， 一方は 池のこちら 側に， 他方は 向こう 側にとどまった．
  4. アブネル は ヨアブ に 申し 入れた． 「若者を 立てて， 我¿の 前で 勝負させてはどうか． 」「よかろう 」と ヨアブ は 言った．
  5. ベニヤミン 族と サウル の 子 イシュ · ボシェト の 側から 十二人， ダビデ の 家臣からも 十二人， 同數の 者が 立って 次¿と 出て 行った．
  1. And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.
  2. And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
  3. And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
  4. And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.
  5. Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.
  1. 彼らはそれぞれ 相手の 頭をとらえ， 劍を 相手の 脇腹に 突き 刺し， 皆共に 倒れた． その 場所は ヘルカト · ツリム と 呼ばれ， ギブオン にある．
  2. その 日， 激しい 戰いが 續き， アブネル と イスラエル の 兵が ダビデ の 家臣に 打ち 負かされた．
  3. ツェルヤ の 三人の 息子， ヨアブ ， アビシャイ ， アサエル も 戰いに 加わっていたが， アサエル は 野のかもしかのように 足が 速く，
  4. アブネル を 追跡し， 右にも 左にもそれることなく アブネル の 後を 追った．
  5. アブネル は 振り 向いて 言った． 「お 前は アサエル だな． 」「そうだ 」と 彼は 答えた．
  1. And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow's side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
  2. And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.
  3. And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.
  4. And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.
  5. Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.
  1. 「右か 左にそれて 若者の 一人でも 捕らえ， 身につけているものを 奪ったらどうだ 」と アブネル は 言ったが， アサエル は アブネル を 追って 離れようとしなかった．
  2. アブネル は 重ねて アサエル に 言った． 「追うのはやめてくれ． お 前を 地に 打ち 倒すわけにはいかない． お 前の 兄， ヨアブ に 顔向けできないではないか． 」
  3. だが アサエル は 頑として 離れなかった． アブネル は 槍の 石突きで アサエル の 下腹を 突いた． 槍は 背中まで 突き 拔け， アサエル は 倒れ， その 場で 死んだ． アサエル が 倒れて 死んでいる 所まで 來た 者は 皆， 立ち 止まったが，
  4. ヨアブ と アビシャイ は アブネル を 追い 續けた． 夕暮れ 時となって， 彼らは ギブオン の 荒れ 野に 續く ギア の 入り 口にあった アンマ の 丘に 着いた．
  5. ベニヤミン 族は アブネル に 合流し， 一團となって 一つの 丘の 頂にとどまった．
  1. And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
  2. And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
  3. Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.
  4. Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.
  5. And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.
  1. アブネル は ヨアブ に 呼びかけて 言った． 「いつまで 劍の 餌食とし 合うのか． 悲慘な 結末になることを 知らぬわけではあるまい． いつになったら， 兄弟を 追うのはやめよ， と 兵士に 命じるのか． 」
  2. ヨアブ は 答えた． 「神は 生きておられる． もしお 前がそう 言い 出さなかったなら， 兵士は 朝までその 兄弟を 追い 續けたことだろう． 」
  3. ヨアブ は 角笛を 吹いた． 兵士は 皆， イスラエル 軍を 追うことをやめ， それ 以上戰いを 續けなかった．
  4. アブネル とその 兵は アラバ を 夜通し 步いて ヨルダン 川を 渡り， 更に 午前中も 步いて， マハナイム に 着いた．
  5. ヨアブ は アブネル の 追跡から 戾り， 兵士を 皆集合させた． ダビデ の 家臣のうち 十九人と アサエル が 欠けていた．
  1. Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
  2. And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
  3. So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
  4. And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.
  5. And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel.
  1. ダビデ の 家臣は ベニヤミン 族と アブネル の 兵のうち 三百六十人を 打ち 殺した．
  2. アサエル は ベツレヘム に 運ばれ， 父の 墓に 葬られた． ヨアブ とその 兵は 夜通し 步いて， 明け 方 ヘブロン に 着いた．
  1. But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner's men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.
  2. And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
