- 人間の 言い 傳えにすぎない 哲學， つまり， むなしいだまし 事によって 人のとりこにされないように 氣をつけなさい． それは， 世を 支配する 靈に 從っており， キリスト に 從うものではありません．
- キリスト の 內には， 滿ちあふれる 神性が， 余すところなく， 見える 形をとって 宿っており，
- あなたがたは， キリスト において 滿たされているのです． キリスト はすべての 支配や 權威の 頭です．
- あなたがたは キリスト において， 手によらない 割禮， つまり 肉の 體を 脫ぎ 捨てる キリスト の 割禮を 受け，
- 洗禮によって， キリスト と 共に 葬られ， また， キリスト を 死者の 中から 復活させた 神の 力を 信じて， キリスト と 共に 復活させられたのです．

- Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
- For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
- And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
- In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
- Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

- 肉に 割禮を 受けず， 罪の 中にいて 死んでいたあなたがたを， 神は キリスト と 共に 生かしてくださったのです． 神は， わたしたちの 一切の 罪を 赦し，
- 規則によってわたしたちを 訴えて 不利に 陷れていた 證書を 破棄し， これを 十字架に 釘付けにして 取り 除いてくださいました．
- そして， もろもろの 支配と 權威の 武裝を 解除し， キリスト の 勝利の 列に 從えて， 公然とさらしものになさいました．
- だから， あなたがたは 食べ 物や 飮み 物のこと， また， 祭りや 新月や 安息日のことでだれにも 批評されてはなりません．
- これらは， やがて 來るものの 影にすぎず， 實體は キリスト にあります．

- And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
- Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
- And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
- Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
- Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

- 僞りの 謙遜と 天使禮拜にふける 者から， 不利な 判斷を 下されてはなりません． こういう 人¿は， 幻で 見たことを 賴りとし， 肉の 思いによって 根據もなく 思い 上がっているだけで，
- 頭である キリスト にしっかりと 付いていないのです． この 頭の ¿きにより， 體全體は， 節と 節， 筋と 筋とによって 支えられ， 結び 合わされ， 神に 育てられて 成長してゆくのです．
- あなたがたは， キリスト と 共に 死んで， 世を 支配する 諸靈とは 何の 關係もないのなら， なぜ， まだ 世に 屬しているかのように 生き，
- 「手をつけるな． 味わうな． 觸れるな 」などという 戒律に 縛られているのですか．
- これらはみな， 使えば 無くなってしまうもの， 人の 規則や 敎えによるものです．

- Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
- And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
- Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
- (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
- Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

- これらは， 獨り 善がりの 禮拜， 僞りの 謙遜， 體の 苦行を 伴っていて， 知惠のあることのように 見えますが， 實は 何の 價値もなく， 肉の 欲望を 滿足させるだけなのです．

- Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
