- さて， あなたがたは， キリスト と 共に 復活させられたのですから， 上にあるものを 求めなさい． そこでは， キリスト が 神の 右の 座に 着いておられます．
- 上にあるものに 心を 留め， 地上のものに 心を 引かれないようにしなさい．
- あなたがたは 死んだのであって， あなたがたの 命は， キリスト と 共に 神の 內に 隱されているのです．
- あなたがたの 命である キリスト が 現れるとき， あなたがたも， キリスト と 共に 榮光に 包まれて 現れるでしょう．
- だから， 地上的なもの， すなわち， みだらな 行い， 不潔な 行い， 情欲， 惡い 欲望， および ·欲を 捨て 去りなさい． ·欲は 偶像禮拜にほかならない．

- If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
- Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
- When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
- Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

- これらのことのゆえに， 神の 怒りは 不從順な 者たちに 下ります．
- あなたがたも， 以前このようなことの 中にいたときには， それに 從って 步んでいました．
- 今は， そのすべてを， すなわち， 怒り， 憤り， 惡意， そしり， 口から 出る 恥ずべき 言葉を 捨てなさい．
- 互いにうそをついてはなりません． 古い 人をその 行いと 共に 脫ぎ 捨て，
- 造り 主の 姿に 倣う 新しい 人を 身に 着け， 日¿新たにされて， 眞の 知識に 達するのです．

- For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
- In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
- But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
- And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

- そこには， もはや， ギリシア 人と ユダヤ 人， 割禮を 受けた 者と 受けていない 者， 未開人， スキタイ 人， 奴隷， 自由な 身分の 者の 區別はありません． キリスト がすべてであり， すべてのもののうちにおられるのです．
- あなたがたは 神に 選ばれ， 聖なる 者とされ， 愛されているのですから， 憐れみの 心， 慈愛， 謙遜， 柔和， 寬容を 身に 着けなさい．
- 互いに 忍び 合い， 責めるべきことがあっても， 赦し 合いなさい． 主があなたがたを 赦してくださったように， あなたがたも 同じようにしなさい．
- これらすべてに 加えて， 愛を 身に 着けなさい． 愛は， すべてを 完成させるきずなです．
- また， キリスト の 平和があなたがたの 心を 支配するようにしなさい． この 平和にあずからせるために， あなたがたは 招かれて 一つの 體とされたのです． いつも 感謝していなさい．

- Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
- Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
- And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

- キリスト の 言葉があなたがたの 內に 豊かに 宿るようにしなさい． 知惠を 盡くして 互いに 敎え， 諭し 合い， 詩編と 贊歌と 靈的な 歌により， 感謝して 心から 神をほめたたえなさい．
- そして， 何を 話すにせよ， 行うにせよ， すべてを 主 イエス の 名によって 行い， イエス によって， 父である 神に 感謝しなさい．

- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
