- しかし， 終わりの 時には 困難な 時期が 來ることを 悟りなさい．
- そのとき， 人¿は 自分自身を 愛し， 金錢を 愛し， ほらを 吹き， 高慢になり， 神をあざけり， 兩親に 從わず， 恩を 知らず， 神を 畏れなくなります．
- また， 情けを 知らず， 和解せず， 中傷し， 節度がなく， 殘忍になり， 善を 好まず，
- 人を 裏切り， 輕率になり， 思い 上がり， 神よりも 快樂を 愛し，
- 信心を 裝いながら， その 實， 信心の 力を 否定するようになります． こういう 人¿を 避けなさい．

- This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
- For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
- Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
- Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
- Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

- 彼らの 中には， 他人の 家に 入り ¿み， 愚かな 女どもをたぶらかしている 者がいるのです． 彼女たちは 罪に 滿ち， さまざまの 情欲に 驅り 立てられており，
- いつも 學んでいながら， 決して 眞理の 認識に 達することができません．
- ヤンネ と ヤンブレ が モ ― セ に 逆らったように， 彼らも 眞理に 逆らっています． 彼らは 精神の 腐った 人間で， 信仰の 失格者です．

- アンティオキア ， イコニオン ， リストラ でわたしにふりかかったような 迫害と 苦難をもいといませんでした． そのような 迫害にわたしは 耐えました． そして， 主がそのすべてからわたしを 救い 出してくださったのです．
- キリスト · イエス に 結ばれて 信心深く 生きようとする 人は 皆， 迫害を 受けます．
- 惡人や 詐欺師は， 惑わし 惑わされながら， ますます 惡くなっていきます．
- だがあなたは， 自分が 學んで 確信したことから 離れてはなりません． あなたは， それをだれから 學んだかを 知っており，
- また， 自分が 幼い 日から 聖書に 親しんできたことをも 知っているからです． この 書物は， キリスト · イエス への 信仰を 通して 救いに 導く 知惠を， あなたに 與えることができます．

- 聖書はすべて 神の 靈の 導きの 下に 書かれ， 人を 敎え， 戒め， 誤りを 正し， 義に 導く 訓練をするうえに 有益です．
- こうして， 神に 仕える 人は， どのような 善い 業をも 行うことができるように， 十分に 整えられるのです．
