- 貧乏でも， 完全な 道を 步む 人は ／二筋の 曲がった 道を 步む 金持ちより 幸いだ．
- 敎えを 守るのは 分別のある 子． 放蕩者と 交わる 者はその 父を 辱める．
- 利息， 高利で 財産を 殖やす 者は ／集めても， 弱者を 憐れむ 人に 渡すことになろう．
- 敎えに 耳をそむけて 聞こうとしない 者は ／その 祈りも 忌むべきものと 見なされる．

- Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
- Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
- He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.
- He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.
