역대하 26:1-28:27

 웃시야는 통치 초기에 하나님 보시기에 정직하게 행하여 형통케 되었으나, 후기에는 교만한 마음으로 제사장의 고유 역할인 성전의 분향 사역을 대신하려다가 하나님의 심판을 받아 문둥병으로 일생을 마쳤다. 요담은 하나님의 전 건축 사업에 힘썼으며, 바르게 행하여 강성하게 되었다. 그러나 그의 아들 아하스는 하나님 앞에서 우상 숭배를 행함으로써 하나님의 진노를 일으켰다.
  
  웃시야의 통치(26:1-26:23)    
 
  1. ユダ のすべての 民は， 當時十六歲であった ウジヤ を 選び， 父 アマツヤ の 代わりに 王とした．
  2. アマツヤ が 先祖と 共に 眠りについた 後， 彼は エイラト の 町を 再建して， ユダ に 復歸させた．
  3. ウジヤ は 十六歲で 王となり， 五十二年間 エルサレム で 王位にあった． その 母は 名を エコルヤ といい， エルサレム の 出身であった．
  4. 彼は， 父 アマツヤ が 行ったように， 主の 目にかなう 正しいことをことごとく 行った．
  5. 神を 畏れ 敬うことを 諭した ゼカルヤ が 生きている 間は， 彼も 主を 求めるように 努めた． 彼が 主を 求めている 間， 神は 彼を 繁榮させられた．
  1. And all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the place of his father Amaziah.
  2. He built Eloth and restored it to Judah after the king slept with his fathers.
  3. Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem; and his mother's name was Jechiliah of Jerusalem.
  4. He did right in the sight of the LORD according to all that his father Amaziah had done.
  5. He continued to seek God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding through the vision of God; and as long as he sought the LORD, God prospered him.
  1. 彼は 出て 行って ペリシテ 人と 戰い， ガト の 城壁， ヤブネ の 城壁， アシュドド の 城壁を 破壞し， アシュドド をはじめ ペリシテ 人の 地方に 幾つかの 町を 建てた．

  1. Now he went out and warred against the Philistines, and broke down the wall of Gath and the wall of Jabneh and the wall of Ashdod; and he built cities in the area of Ashdod and among the Philistines.
  2. God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians who lived in Gur-baal, and the Meunites.
  3. The Ammonites also gave tribute to Uzziah, and his fame extended to the border of Egypt, for he became very strong.
  4. Moreover, Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the Corner Gate and at the Valley Gate and at the corner buttress and fortified them.
  5. He built towers in the wilderness and hewed many cisterns, for he had much livestock, both in the lowland and in the plain. He also had plowmen and vinedressers in the hill country and the fertile fields, for he loved the soil.
  1. ウジヤ は 戰いに 備えて 訓練された 軍隊を 持っていた． それは 書記官 エイエル ， 官吏 マアセヤ による 名簿に 從って 部隊に 配屬され， 王の 高官 ハナンヤ の 指揮下に 置かれていた．
  2. 勇士である 家長の 總數は 二千六百人，

  1. Moreover, Uzziah had an army ready for battle, which entered combat by divisions according to the number of their muster, prepared by Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the official, under the direction of Hananiah, one of the king's officers.
  2. The total number of the heads of the households, of valiant warriors, was 2,600.
  3. Under their direction was an elite army of 307,500, who could wage war with great power, to help the king against the enemy.
  4. Moreover, Uzziah prepared for all the army shields, spears, helmets, body armor, bows and sling stones.
  5. In Jerusalem he made engines of war invented by skillful men to be on the towers and on the corners for the purpose of shooting arrows and great stones. Hence his fame spread afar, for he was marvelously helped until he was strong.
  1. ところが， 彼は 勢力を 增すとともに 思い 上がって 墮落し， 自分の 神， 主に 背いた． 彼は 主の 神殿に 入り， 香の 祭壇の 上で 香をたこうとした．
  2. 祭司 アザルヤ は 主の 勇敢な 祭司八十人と 共に 後から 入り，
  3. ウジヤ 王の 前に 立ちはだかって 言った． 「ウジヤ よ， あなたは 主に 香をたくことができない． 香をたくのは 聖別された アロン の 子孫， 祭司である． この 聖所から 出て 行きなさい． あなたは 主に 背いたのだ． 主なる 神からそのような 榮譽を 受ける 資格はあなたにはない． 」
  4. 香をたこうとして 香爐を 手にしていた ウジヤ は 怒り 始めたが， 祭司たちに 怒りをぶつけている 間に 重い 皮膚病がその 額に 現れた． それは 主の 神殿の 中にいた 祭司たちの 目の 前， 香の 祭壇の 前の 出來事だった．
  5. 祭司長 アザルヤ と 祭司たちは 皆彼の 方を 向いて， その 額に 重い 皮膚病ができているのを 認め， 直ちに 去らせた． 彼自身も 急いで 出て 行った． 主が 彼を 打たれたからである．
  1. But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and he was unfaithful to the LORD his God, for he entered the temple of the LORD to burn incense on the altar of incense.
  2. Then Azariah the priest entered after him and with him eighty priests of the LORD, valiant men.
  3. They opposed Uzziah the king and said to him, "It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the LORD, but for the priests, the sons of Aaron who are consecrated to burn incense. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have been unfaithful and will have no honor from the LORD God."
  4. But Uzziah, with a censer in his hand for burning incense, was enraged; and while he was enraged with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, beside the altar of incense.
  5. Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and behold, he was leprous on his forehead; and they hurried him out of there, and he himself also hastened to get out because the LORD had smitten him.
  1. ウジヤ 王は 死ぬ 日までその 重い 皮膚病に 惱まされ， 重い 皮膚病のために 隔離された 家に 住んだ． 主の 神殿に 近づくことを 禁じられたからである． その 子 ヨタム が 王宮を 取りしきり， 國の 民を 治めた．
  2. ウジヤ の 他の 事績は갂 初期のことも 後期のことも， 預言者， アモツ の 子 イザヤ が 書き 殘している．
  3. ウジヤ は 先祖と 共に 眠りにつき， その 遺體は， 重い 皮膚病に 冒されていたということで， 王の 墓の 近くの 野に 先祖と 共に 葬られた． その 子 ヨタム が ウジヤ に 代わって 王となった．
  1. King Uzziah was a leper to the day of his death; and he lived in a separate house, being a leper, for he was cut off from the house of the LORD. And Jotham his son was over the king's house judging the people of the land.
  2. Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first to last, the prophet Isaiah, the son of Amoz, has written.
  3. So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the grave which belonged to the kings, for they said, "He is a leper." And Jotham his son became king in his place.
 
  요담의 통치(27:1-27:9)    
 
  1. ヨタム は 二十五歲で 王となり， 十六年間 エルサレム で 王位にあった． その 母は 名を エルシャ といい， ツァドク の 娘であった．
  2. 彼は， 父 ウジヤ が 行ったように， 主の 目にかなう 正しいことをことごとく 行った． ただ 主の 神殿に 入ることだけはしなかった． 民は 依然として 墮落していた．
  3. 彼は 主の 神殿の 上の 門を 建て， オフェル の 城壁に 多くの 工事を 施し，
  4. ユダ の 山地に 町を 築き， 森の 中に 城砦や 塔を 築いた．
  5. 彼は アンモン 人の 王と 戰ってこれを 征服した． その 年 アンモン 人は 銀百 キカル ， 小麥一万 コル ， 大麥一万 コル を 獻上してきた． アンモン 人は 二年目も， 三年目もそうした．
  1. Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerushah the daughter of Zadok.
  2. He did right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah had done; however he did not enter the temple of the LORD. But the people continued acting corruptly.
  3. He built the upper gate of the house of the LORD, and he built extensively the wall of Ophel.
  4. Moreover, he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and he built fortresses and towers on the wooded hills.
  5. He fought also with the king of the Ammonites and prevailed over them so that the Ammonites gave him during that year one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand kors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. The Ammonites also paid him this amount in the second and in the third year.
  1. ヨタム は 主なる 神の 御前をたゆまず 步き 續けたので， 勢力を 增すことができた．
  2. ヨタム の 他の 事績は， そのすべての 戰いも， 行動も， 『イスラエル と ユダ の 列王の 書 』に 記されている．
  3. 彼は 二十五歲で 王となり， 十六年間 エルサレム で 王位にあった．
  4. ヨタム は 先祖と 共に 眠りにつき， ダビデ の 町に 葬られた． その 子 アハズ が ヨタム に 代わって 王となった．
  1. So Jotham became mighty because he ordered his ways before the LORD his God.
  2. Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, even all his wars and his acts, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah.
  3. He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
  4. And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
 
  아하스의 통치(28:1-28:27)    
 
  1. アハズ は 二十歲で 王となり， 十六年間 エルサレム で 王位にあった． 彼は 父祖 ダビデ と 異なり， 主の 目にかなう 正しいことを 行わなかった．
  2. 彼は イスラエル の 王たちの 道を 步み， その 上 バアル の 神¿のために 像を 鑄て 造った．
  3. 主が イスラエル の 人¿の 前から 追い 拂われた 諸國の 民の 忌むべき 慣習に 倣って， ベン · ヒノム の 谷で 香をたき， 自分の 子らに 火の 中を 通らせた．

  1. Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and he did not do right in the sight of the LORD as David his father had done.
  2. But he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel; he also made molten images for the Baals.
  3. Moreover, he burned incense in the valley of Ben-hinnom and burned his sons in fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom the LORD had driven out before the sons of Israel.
  4. He sacrificed and burned incense on the high places, on the hills and under every green tree.
  5. Wherefore, the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Aram; and they defeated him and carried away from him a great number of captives and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who inflicted him with heavy casualties.
  1. レマルヤ の 子 ペカ は， ユダ で 一日のうちに 十二万人を 打ち 殺した． すべて 勇士であった． 彼らが 先祖の 神， 主を 捨てたからである．
  2. エフライム の 勇者 ジクリ は， 王子 マアセヤ ， 侍從長 アズリカム と 王の 代行 エルカナ を 殺した．
  3. イスラエル の 人¿はその 兄弟の 國から 婦女子二十万人を 捕虜とし， 大量の 戰利品を 奪って， サマリア に 運び 去った．
  4. ところが， その 名を オデド という 主の 預言者がいて， サマリア に 凱旋した 軍隊の 前に 進み 出て 言った． 「見よ， あなたたちの 先祖の 神， 主は ユダ に 對して 怒りに 燃え， 彼らをあなたたちの 手に 渡された． あなたたちも， 天に 屆くほどの 憤りをもって 彼らを 殺した．
  5. しかし 今， あなたたちは ユダ と エルサレム の 人¿を 服從させ， 自分たちの 男女の 奴隷にしようと 思っている． しかし， あなたたち 自身はあなたたちの 神， 主によって 罪に 問われずに 濟むだろうか．
  1. For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah 120,000 in one day, all valiant men, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.
  2. And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son and Azrikam the ruler of the house and Elkanah the second to the king.
  3. The sons of Israel carried away captive of their brethren 200,000 women, sons and daughters; and they took also a great deal of spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
  4. But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army which came to Samaria and said to them, "Behold, because the LORD, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, He has delivered them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has even reached heaven.
  5. "Now you are proposing to subjugate for yourselves the people of Judah and Jerusalem for male and female slaves. Surely, do you not have transgressions of your own against the LORD your God?
  1. 今， わたしの 言うことを 聞き， 兄弟の 國から 連れて 來た 捕虜を 歸しなさい． 主はあなたたちに 對して 激しく 怒っておられる． 」
  2. 直ちに エフライム 人の 頭たち ヨハナン の 子 アザルヤ ， メシレモト の 子 ベレクヤ ， シャルム の 子 エヒズキヤ ， ハドライ の 子 アマサ は， 戰いから 歸って 來た 兵に 向かって，
  3. 言った． 「捕虜をここに 連れて 來てはならない． 我¿は 主に 對して 咎を 負っている． あなたたちは 我¿の 罪と 咎をいっそう 重くしようとしている． 我¿の 咎は 旣に 重く， 主は イスラエル に 對して 激しく 怒っておられる． 」
  4. そこで 兵士たちは， 將軍たちとすべての 會衆の 前で， 捕虜と 戰利品を 放棄した．
  5. そこで 前に 名を 擧げられた 人¿が 立って 捕虜を 引き 取り， 裸の 者があれば 戰利品の 中から 衣服を 取って 着せた． 彼らは 捕虜に 衣服を 着せ， 履物を 與え， 飮食させ， 油を 注ぎ， 弱った 者がいればろばに 乘せ， 彼らをしゅろの 町 エリコ にいるその 兄弟たちのもとに 送り 屆けて， サマリア へ 歸った．
  1. "Now therefore, listen to me and return the captives whom you captured from your brothers, for the burning anger of the LORD is against you."
  2. Then some of the heads of the sons of Ephraim--Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai--arose against those who were coming from the battle,
  3. and said to them, "You must not bring the captives in here, for you are proposing to bring upon us guilt against the LORD adding to our sins and our guilt; for our guilt is great so that His burning anger is against Israel."
  4. So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the officers and all the assembly.
  5. Then the men who were designated by name arose, took the captives, and they clothed all their naked ones from the spoil; and they gave them clothes and sandals, fed them and gave them drink, anointed them with oil, led all their feeble ones on donkeys, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brothers; then they returned to Samaria.
  1. そのころ， アハズ 王は 援助を 求めて アッシリア の 王に 使者を 送った．
  2. 再び エドム 人が 攻めて 來て ユダ を 擊ち， 住民を 捕虜にした．
  3. ペリシテ 人も シェフェラ の 町¿と ユダ 領の ネゲブ に 襲いかかり， ベト · シェメシュ ， アヤロン ， ゲデロト ， ソコ とその 周邊の 村落， ティムナ とその 周邊の 村落， ギムゾ とその 周邊の 村落を 占領し， そこに 住んだ．
  4. このように 主は， イスラエル の 王 アハズ のゆえに ユダ を 辱められた． 彼が ユダ を 墮落させ， 主に 甚だしく 背いたからである．
  5. アッシリア の 王 ティグラト · ピレセル は アハズ を 援助するどころか， 攻めて 來て， 彼を 苦しめた．
  1. At that time King Ahaz sent to the kings of Assyria for help.
  2. For again the Edomites had come and attacked Judah and carried away captives.
  3. The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the lowland and of the Negev of Judah, and had taken Beth-shemesh, Aijalon, Gederoth, and Soco with its villages, Timnah with its villages, and Gimzo with its villages, and they settled there.
  4. For the LORD humbled Judah because of Ahaz king of Israel, for he had brought about a lack of restraint in Judah and was very unfaithful to the LORD.
  5. So Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria came against him and afflicted him instead of strengthening him.
  1. アハズ は 主の 神殿， 王宮， 高官の 家の 財産を 一部 アッシリア の 王に 差し 出したが， 何の 助けにもならなかった．
  2. この アハズ 王は， 災難のさなかでも， なお 主に 背いた．
  3. 彼は 自分を 打った ダマスコ の 神¿にいけにえをささげ， 「アラム の 王の 神¿は， 王を 助けている． その 神¿に， わたしもいけにえをささげよう． そうすればわたしも 助けてくれるだろう 」と 言った． しかし， その 神¿は アハズ にとっても， すべての イスラエル にとっても， 破滅をもたらすものでしかなかった．
  4. アハズ は 神殿の 祭具を 集めて 粉¿に ¿き， 主の 神殿の 扉を 閉じる 一方， エルサレム のあらゆる 街角に 祭壇を 築いた．
  5. また ユダ の 町という 町にはどこにも 聖なる 高台を 造って， 他の 神¿に 香をたき， 先祖の 神， 主の 怒りを 招いた．
  1. Although Ahaz took a portion out of the house of the LORD and out of the palace of the king and of the princes, and gave it to the king of Assyria, it did not help him.
  2. Now in the time of his distress this same King Ahaz became yet more unfaithful to the LORD.
  3. For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus which had defeated him, and said, "Because the gods of the kings of Aram helped them, I will sacrifice to them that they may help me." But they became the downfall of him and all Israel.
  4. Moreover, when Ahaz gathered together the utensils of the house of God, he cut the utensils of the house of God in pieces; and he closed the doors of the house of the LORD and made altars for himself in every corner of Jerusalem.
  5. In every city of Judah he made high places to burn incense to other gods, and provoked the LORD, the God of his fathers, to anger.
  1. アハズ の 他の 事績と 全行動は， 初期のことも 後期のことも， 『ユダ と イスラエル の 列王の 書 』に 記されている．
  2. アハズ は 先祖と 共に 眠りにつき， エルサレム の 都に 葬られた． しかし， その 遺體は イスラエル の 王の 墓には 入れられなかった． その 子 ヒゼキヤ が アハズ に 代わって 王となった．
  1. Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, from first to last, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel.
  2. So Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, in Jerusalem, for they did not bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel; and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.
