에스라 7:1-8:20

 아닥사스다 왕은 조서를 내려 율법 학사 겸 제사장인 에스라와 그의 백성들을 바벨론에서 예루살렘으로 귀환시켰다. 이는 에스라를 중심으로 한 제2차 귀환이었다. 에스라와 함께 귀환한 명단이 유명 가문별 족보로 기록되었다.
  
  에스라의 귀환(7:1-7:28)    
 
  1. これらの 事があって 後， ペルシア の 王 アルタクセルクセス の 治世に， エズラ の 祖先は， 父が セラヤ ， 祖父が アザルヤ ， 更に ヒルキヤ ，
  2. シャルム ， ツァドク ， アヒトブ ，
  3. アマルヤ ， アザルヤ ， メラヨト ，
  4. ゼラフヤ ， ウジ ， ブキ ，
  5. アビシュア ， ピネハス ， エルアザル ， そして 祭司長 アロン とさかのぼる．
  1. Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, there went up Ezra son of Seraiah, son of Azariah, son of Hilkiah,
  2. son of Shallum, son of Zadok, son of Ahitub,
  3. son of Amariah, son of Azariah, son of Meraioth,
  4. son of Zerahiah, son of Uzzi, son of Bukki,
  5. son of Abishua, son of Phinehas, son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the chief priest.
  1. エズラ が バビロン から 上って 來た．エズラ は， イスラエル の 神なる 主が 授けられた モ ― セ の 律法に 詳しい 書記官であり， その 神なる 主の 御手の 加護を 受けて， 求めるものをすべて 王から 與えられていた．
  2. アルタクセルクセス 王の 第七年に， イスラエル の 人¿， 祭司， レビ 人， 詠唱者， 門衛， 神殿の 使用人から 成る 一團が エルサレム に 上り，
  3. 同王の 第七年の 第五の 月に エルサレム に 到着した．
  4. 彼らは 第一の 月の 一日を バビロン 出發の 日とし， 神の 慈しみ 深い 御手の 加護を 受けて， 第五の 月の 一日に エルサレム に 到着した．
  5. エズラ は 主の 律法を 硏究して 實行し， イスラエル に ¿と 法を 敎えることに 專念した．
  1. This Ezra went up from Babylon, and he was a scribe skilled in the law of Moses, which the LORD God of Israel had given; and the king granted him all he requested because the hand of the LORD his God was upon him.
  2. Some of the sons of Israel and some of the priests, the Levites, the singers, the gatekeepers and the temple servants went up to Jerusalem in the seventh year of King Artaxerxes.
  3. He came to Jerusalem in the fifth month, which was in the seventh year of the king.
  4. For on the first of the first month he began to go up from Babylon; and on the first of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, because the good hand of his God was upon him.
  5. For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the LORD and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel.
  1. イスラエル に 對する 主の 戒めと ¿の 言葉に 精通した， 祭司であり 書記官である エズラ に， アルタクセルクセス 王は 親書を 送った． 以下はその 寫しである．
  2. 「諸王の 王である アルタクセルクセス は， 天にいます 神の 律法の 書記官， 祭司 エズラ に 心からの ¿¿を 送る．
  3. さて， ここにわたしの 命令を 明記する． わが 國にいる イスラエル の 人¿， 祭司， レビ 人で エルサレム に 行くことを 望む 者はだれでも， あなたと 共に 行ってよい．
  4. わたしは 七人の 顧問官と 共にあなたに 次の 使命を 託す． すなわちあなたにゆだねられた 神の 律法に 從って， ユダ と エルサレム の 事情を 調べること，
  5. エルサレム に 住まいを 定められた イスラエル の 神に， わたしと 顧問官が 寄進する 金銀を 持って 行くこと，
  1. Now this is the copy of the decree which King Artaxerxes gave to Ezra the priest, the scribe, learned in the words of the commandments of the LORD and His statutes to Israel:
  2. "Artaxerxes, king of kings, to Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, perfect peace. And now
  3. I have issued a decree that any of the people of Israel and their priests and the Levites in my kingdom who are willing to go to Jerusalem, may go with you.
  4. "Forasmuch as you are sent by the king and his seven counselors to inquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem according to the law of your God which is in your hand,
  5. and to bring the silver and gold, which the king and his counselors have freely offered to the God of Israel, whose dwelling is in Jerusalem,
  1. また バビロニア の 州の 至るところであなたが 得るすべての 金銀を， 民と 祭司が エルサレム にある 彼らの 神殿に 寄進する 獻げ 物と 共に 持って 行くことである．
  2. それゆえ， あなたはその 銀を 持って 雄牛， 雄羊， 小羊， および 穀物とぶどう 酒の 獻げ 物を 丹念に 買い 集め， エルサレム にあるあなたたちの 神の 神殿の 祭壇にささげよ．
  3. そのほかあなたとあなたの 仲間が 適切と 思うことがあれば， 殘りの 金銀を 神の 御旨に 從って 用いてよい．
  4. あなたの 神の 神殿の 儀式のためにあなたに 託す 祭具類も， エルサレム の 神の 御前に 納めよ．
  5. その 他， 神殿に 必要なもので 費用がかさむなら， それも 國庫負擔としてよい．
  1. with all the silver and gold which you find in the whole province of Babylon, along with the freewill offering of the people and of the priests, who offered willingly for the house of their God which is in Jerusalem;
  2. with this money, therefore, you shall diligently buy bulls, rams and lambs, with their grain offerings and their drink offerings and offer them on the altar of the house of your God which is in Jerusalem.
  3. "Whatever seems good to you and to your brothers to do with the rest of the silver and gold, you may do according to the will of your God.
  4. "Also the utensils which are given to you for the service of the house of your God, deliver in full before the God of Jerusalem.
  5. "The rest of the needs for the house of your God, for which you may have occasion to provide, provide for it from the royal treasury.
  1. 天にいます 神の 律法の 書記官， 祭司 エズラ の 要求には， すべて 怠りなくこたえるように， この アルタクセルクセス 王が ユ ― フラテス 西方の 全財務官に 命令しておく．
  2. 銀は 百 キカル まで， 小麥は 百 コル まで， ぶどう 酒は 百 バト まで， 油は 百 バト まで， 鹽は 制限なく 與えられる．
  3. 王とその 子孫の 國に 怒りが 下らないように， 天にいます 神の 命令であれば， 天にいます 神の 神殿のために， すべてを 滯りなく 實行しなければならない．
  4. また 祭司， レビ 人， 詠唱者， 門衛， 神殿の 使用人など 總じて 神殿に 仕える 者に， 年貢， 關稅， 交通稅を 課す 權限が， だれにもないことをあなたたちに 知らせておく．
  5. エズラ よ， ゆだねられた 神の 知惠によってあなたは 治める 者と 裁く 者を 任命して， ユ ― フラテス 西方のすべての 民， あなたの 神の 律法を 知るすべての 者を 治めさせ， 律法を 知らない 者にはあなたたちは 敎えを 授けよ．
  1. "I, even I, King Artaxerxes, issue a decree to all the treasurers who are in the provinces beyond the River, that whatever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, may require of you, it shall be done diligently,
  2. even up to 100 talents of silver, 100 kors of wheat, 100 baths of wine, 100 baths of oil, and salt as needed.
  3. "Whatever is commanded by the God of heaven, let it be done with zeal for the house of the God of heaven, so that there will not be wrath against the kingdom of the king and his sons.
  4. "We also inform you that it is not allowed to impose tax, tribute or toll on any of the priests, Levites, singers, doorkeepers, Nethinim or servants of this house of God.
  5. "You, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God which is in your hand, appoint magistrates and judges that they may judge all the people who are in the province beyond the River, even all those who know the laws of your God; and you may teach anyone who is ignorant of them.
  1. あなたの 神の 律法と 王の 法律に 從わない 者は， すべてこれを 嚴しく 裁き， 死刑または 流刑， 財産¿收， または 投獄によって 處罰しなければならない． 」
  2. わたしたちの 先祖の 神， 主はほめたたえられますように． 主は， このように エルサレム の 神殿を 榮えあるものとする 心を 王にお 與えになり，
  3. わたしには 王とその 參議官， そのすべての 優れた 高官の 好意を 受けるようにしてくださった． わたしは， わが 神なる 主の 御手の 加護によって 勇氣を 得， イスラエル の 中でわたしと 共に 上って 行こうとする 頭たちを 集めた．
  1. "Whoever will not observe the law of your God and the law of the king, let judgment be executed upon him strictly, whether for death or for banishment or for confiscation of goods or for imprisonment."
  2. Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to adorn the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem,
  3. and has extended lovingkindness to me before the king and his counselors and before all the king's mighty princes Thus I was strengthened according to the hand of the LORD my God upon me, and I gathered leading men from Israel to go up with me.
 
  에스라와 동행한 자들(8:1-8:20)    
 
  1. アルタクセルクセス 王の 治世に， わたしと 共に バビロン から 上って 來た 家長と， その 家系は 次のとおりである．
  2. ピネハス の 一族から ゲルショム ， イタマル の 一族から ダニエル ， ダビデ の 一族から ハトシュ ，
  3. シェカンヤ の 一族の 者， パルオシュ の 一族から， ゼカルヤ と， 彼と 共に 家系に 從って 記錄された 男百五十人．
  4. パハト · モアブ の 一族から， ゼラフヤ の 子 エルヨエナイ と 男二百人．
  5. ザト の 一族から， ヤハジエル の 子 シェカンヤ と 男三百人．
  1. Now these are the heads of their fathers' households and the genealogical enrollment of those who went up with me from Babylon in the reign of King Artaxerxes:
  2. of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom; of the sons of Ithamar, Daniel; of the sons of David, Hattush;
  3. of the sons of Shecaniah who was of the sons of Parosh, Zechariah and with him 150 males who were in the genealogical list;
  4. of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai the son of Zerahiah and 200 males with him;
  5. of the sons of Zattu, Shecaniah, the son of Jahaziel and 300 males with him;
  1. アディン の 一族から， ヨナタン の 子 エベド と 男五十人．
  2. エラム の 一族から， アタルヤ の 子 エシャヤ と 男七十人．
  3. シェファトヤ の 一族から， ミカエル の 子 ゼバドヤ と 男八十人．
  4. ヨアブ の 一族から， エヒエル の 子 オバドヤ と 男二百十八人．
  5. バニ の 一族から， ヨシフヤ の 子 シェロミト と 男百六十人．
  1. and of the sons of Adin, Ebed the son of Jonathan and 50 males with him;
  2. and of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah the son of Athaliah and 70 males with him;
  3. and of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah the son of Michael and 80 males with him;
  4. of the sons of Joab, Obadiah the son of Jehiel and 218 males with him;
  5. and of the sons of Bani, Shelomith, the son of Josiphiah and 160 males with him;
  1. ベバイ の 一族から， ベバイ の 子 ゼカルヤ と 男二十八人．
  2. アズガド の 一族から， ハカタン の 子 ヨハナン と 男百十人．
  3. アドニカム の 一族から， その 最後の 者たちで， 名を エリフェレト ， エイエル ， シェマヤ という 者と 男六十人．
  4. ビグワイ の 一族から， ウタイ ， ザクル と 男七十人．
  5. わたしは アハワ に 向かって 流れる 川のほとりに 彼らを 集めた． そこでわたしたちは， 三日間野營した． そこには 民も 祭司もいるのが 分かったが， レビ 人が 見當たらなかった．
  1. and of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah the son of Bebai and 28 males with him;
  2. and of the sons of Azgad, Johanan the son of Hakkatan and 110 males with him;
  3. and of the sons of Adonikam, the last ones, these being their names, Eliphelet, Jeuel and Shemaiah, and 60 males with them;
  4. and of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zabbud, and 70 males with them.
  5. Now I assembled them at the river that runs to Ahava, where we camped for three days; and when I observed the people and the priests, I did not find any Levites there.
  1. そこでわたしは 頭たち エリエゼル ， アリエル ， シェマヤ ， エルナタン ， ヤリブ ， エルナタン ， ナタン ， ゼカルヤ ， メシュラム ， 敎官 ヨヤリブ と エルナタン を 遣わし，
  2. カシフヤ という 所の 頭 イド のもとに 行かせた． そして カシフヤ という 所の 神殿の 使用人である 彼とその 兄弟たちに， わたしたちの 神の 神殿に 仕える 者をよこしてほしいと 傳えさせた．
  3. 慈しみ 深い 神の 御手がわたしたちを 助けてくださり， 彼らは イスラエル の 子 レビ の 子である マフリ の 一族の シェレブヤ という 有能な 人物を， その 子らと 兄弟十八人と 共に 連れて 來た．
  4. 更に， メラリ の 一族から ハシャブヤ とその 兄弟 エシャヤ ， および 彼らの 子ら 二十人，
  5. また， レビ 人に 奉仕するように ダビデ と 高官たちが 定めた 神殿の 使用人の 中からも， 二百二十人の 使用人を 連れて 來た． 皆一人一人その 名が 記錄されている．
  1. So I sent for Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah and Meshullam, leading men, and for Joiarib and Elnathan, teachers.
  2. I sent them to Iddo the leading man at the place Casiphia; and I told them what to say to Iddo and his brothers, the temple servants at the place Casiphia, that is, to bring ministers to us for the house of our God.
  3. According to the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of insight of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel, namely Sherebiah, and his sons and brothers, 18 men;
  4. and Hashabiah and Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, with his brothers and their sons, 20 men;
  5. and 220 of the temple servants, whom David and the princes had given for the service of the Levites, all of them designated by name.
