오바댜

  본서는 구약 성경 중 가장 짧고 간결한 책으로, 유다의 형제국이면서 유다를 괴롭혀 왔던 에돔의 멸망을 예언하고 있다.

  하나님께서는 오바댜 선지자를 통하여 에돔의 교만한 죄와 유다 멸망에 참여한 죄에 대하여 심판하시고 멸망하실 것임을 선포하신다. 에돔을 포함한 하나님을 대적하는 모든 적들은 주의 날이 도래할 때 멸망을 받게 되지만, 하나님의 백성들에게는 그날이 구원의 날이 될 것이라는 소망의 메시지를 선포하고 있다.

 

 

오바댜 1:1-1:21

 교만으로 가득한 에돔을 멸망시키실 하나님의 심판에 대한 묵시가 오바댜에게 임했다. 오바댜는 하나님의 심판이 에돔과 같은 반열에 서 있는 모든 열방에까지 확대될 것이며, 선민 이스라엘은 하나님의 구원과 회복을 누리게 될 것이라고 선포하였다.
  
  에돔의 심판(1:1-1:21)    
 
  1. オバデヤ の 幻． 我¿は 主から 知らせを 聞いた． 使者が 諸國に 遣わされ ／「立て， 立ち 上がって ／ エドム と 戰おう 」と 告げる． 主なる 神は エドム についてこう 言われる．
  2. 「見よ， わたしはお 前を ／諸國のうちで 最も 小さいものとする． お 前は， 大いに 侮られる．
  3. お 前は 自分の 傲慢な 心に 欺かれている． 岩の 裂け 目に 住み， 高い 所に 住みかを 設け ／『誰がわたしを 地に 引きずり 降ろせるか 』と ／心に 思っている．
  4. たとえ， お 前が 鷲のように 高く 昇り ／星の 間に 巢を 作っても ／わたしは， そこからお 前を 引き 降ろすと ／主は 言われる．
  5. もし， 盜人がお 前のところに 押し 入り ／夜の 侵略者が 來れば ／いかに， お 前は 痛めつけられることか． 彼らは 欲しいだけ 盜んで 行くではないか． ぶどうを 收穫する 者が， お 前のもとに 來れば ／取り 殘しの 實しか 殘さないではないか．
  1. The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord GOD concerning Edom-- We have heard a report from the LORD, And an envoy has been sent among the nations saying, "Arise and let us go against her for battle"--
  2. "Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You are greatly despised.
  3. "The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, You who live in the clefts of the rock, In the loftiness of your dwelling place, Who say in your heart, 'Who will bring me down to earth?'
  4. "Though you build high like the eagle, Though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down," declares the LORD.
  5. "If thieves came to you, If robbers by night-- O how you will be ruined!-- Would they not steal only until they had enough? If grape gatherers came to you, Would they not leave some gleanings?
  1. いかに， エサウ の 富は 探し 出され ／寶は 奪い 取られることか．
  2. お 前と 同盟していたすべてのものが ／お 前を 國境まで 追いやる． お 前の 盟友がお 前を 欺き， 征服する． お 前の パン を 食べていた 者が ／お 前の 足もとに ┼を 仕掛ける． それでも， お 前は 悟らない．
  3. その 日には 必ず， と 主は 言われる． わたしは エドム から 知者を ／ エサウ の 山から 知惠を 滅ぼす．
  4. テマン よ， お 前の 勇士はおびえる． 彼らはひとり 殘らず 殺され ／ エサウ の 山から 取り 去られる．
  5. 兄弟 ヤコブ に 不法を 行ったので ／お 前は 恥に 覆われ， とこしえに 滅ぼされる．
  1. "O how Esau will be ransacked, And his hidden treasures searched out!
  2. "All the men allied with you Will send you forth to the border, And the men at peace with you Will deceive you and overpower you They who eat your bread Will set an ambush for you (There is no understanding in him.)
  3. "Will I not on that day," declares the LORD, "Destroy wise men from Edom And understanding from the mountain of Esau?
  4. "Then your mighty men will be dismayed, O Teman, So that everyone may be cut off from the mountain of Esau by slaughter.
  5. "Because of violence to your brother Jacob, You will be covered with shame, And you will be cut off forever.
  1. お 前が 離れて 立っていたあの 日 ／異國の 者が エルサレム の 財寶を 奪い ／他國の 者がその 門に 入り ／ エルサレム をくじ 引きにして 取ったあの 日に ／お 前も 彼らの 一人のようであった．
  2. 兄弟が 不幸に 見舞われる 日に ／お 前は 眺めていてはならない． ユダ の 人¿の 滅びの 日に ／お 前は 喜んではならない． その 惱みの 日に ／大きな 口をきいてはならない．
  3. その 災いの 日に ／わが 民の 門に 入ってはならない． その 災いの 日に ／苦しみを 眺めていてはならない． その 災いの 日に ／彼らの 財寶に 手を 伸ばしてはならない．
  4. 逃げて 行く 者を 殺すために ／別れ 道で 待ち 伏せしてはならない． その 惱みの 日に ／生き 殘った 者を 引き 渡してはならない．
  5. 主の 日は， すべての 國に 近づいている． お 前がしたように， お 前にもされる． お 前の 業は， お 前の 頭上に 返る．
  1. "On the day that you stood aloof, On the day that strangers carried off his wealth, And foreigners entered his gate And cast lots for Jerusalem-- You too were as one of them.
  2. "Do not gloat over your brother's day, The day of his misfortune And do not rejoice over the sons of Judah In the day of their destruction; Yes, do not boast In the day of their distress.
  3. "Do not enter the gate of My people In the day of their disaster Yes, you, do not gloat over their calamity In the day of their disaster And do not loot their wealth In the day of their disaster.
  4. "Do not stand at the fork of the road To cut down their fugitives; And do not imprison their survivors In the day of their distress.
  5. "For the day of the LORD draws near on all the nations As you have done, it will be done to you Your dealings will return on your own head.
  1. お 前たちが， わたしの 聖なる 山で 飮んだように ／すべての 國の 民も 飮み 續ける． 彼らは 飮み， また 呑み 盡くす． 彼らは 存在しなかった 者のようになる．
  2. しかし， シオン の 山には 逃れた 者がいて ／そこは 聖なる 所となる． ヤコブ の 家は， 自分たちの 土地を ／奪った 者の 土地を 奪う．
  3. ヤコブ の 家は 火となり ／ ヨセフ の 家は 炎となり ／ エサウ の 家はわらとなる． 火と 炎はわらに 燃え 移り， これを 燒き 盡くす． エサウ の 家には， 生き 殘る 者がいなくなる 」と ／まことに， 主は 語られた．
  4. 彼らは， ネゲブ と エサウ の 山， シェフェラ と ペリシテ 人の 地を 所有し， また エフライム の 野と サマリア の 野， ベニヤミン と ギレアド を 所有する．
  5. 捕囚となった イスラエル 人の 軍團は， カナン 人の 地を サレプタ まで 所有する． 捕囚となった， セファラド にいる エルサレム の 人¿は， ネゲブ の 町¿を 所有する．
  1. "Because just as you drank on My holy mountain, All the nations will drink continually. They will drink and swallow And become as if they had never existed.
  2. "But on Mount Zion there will be those who escape, And it will be holy And the house of Jacob will possess their possessions.
  3. "Then the house of Jacob will be a fire And the house of Joseph a flame; But the house of Esau will be as stubble And they will set them on fire and consume them, So that there will be no survivor of the house of Esau," For the LORD has spoken.
  4. Then those of the Negev will possess the mountain of Esau, And those of the Shephelah the Philistine plain; Also, possess the territory of Ephraim and the territory of Samaria, And Benjamin will possess Gilead.
  5. And the exiles of this host of the sons of Israel, Who are among the Canaanites as far as Zarephath, And the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad Will possess the cities of the Negev.
  1. 救う 者たちが シオン の 山に 上って， エサウ の 山を 裁く． こうして 王國は 主のものとなる．
  1. The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion To judge the mountain of Esau, And the kingdom will be the LORD'S.
