- 「わたしはあなたがたを 遣わす． それは， 狼の 群れに 羊を 送り ¿むようなものだ． だから， 蛇のように 賢く， 鳩のように 素直になりなさい．
- 人¿を 警戒しなさい． あなたがたは 地方法院に 引き 渡され， 會堂で 鞭打たれるからである．
- また， わたしのために 總督や 王の 前に 引き 出されて， 彼らや 異邦人に 證しをすることになる．
- 引き 渡されたときは， 何をどう 言おうかと 心配してはならない． そのときには， 言うべきことは 敎えられる．
- 實は， 話すのはあなたがたではなく， あなたがたの 中で 語ってくださる， 父の 靈である．

- Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
- But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
- And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
- But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
- For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

- 兄弟は 兄弟を， 父は 子を 死に 追いやり， 子は 親に 反抗して 殺すだろう．
- また， わたしの 名のために， あなたがたはすべての 人に 憎まれる． しかし， 最後まで 耐え 忍ぶ 者は 救われる．
- 一つの 町で 迫害されたときは， 他の 町へ 逃げて 行きなさい． はっきり 言っておく． あなたがたが イスラエル の 町を 回り 終わらないうちに， 人の 子は 來る．
- 弟子は 師にまさるものではなく， 僕は 主人にまさるものではない．
- 弟子は 師のように， 僕は 主人のようになれば， それで 十分である． 家の 主人が ベルゼブル と 言われるのなら， その 家族の 者はもっとひどく 言われることだろう． 」

- And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
- And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
- But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
- The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
- It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

- 「人¿を 恐れてはならない． 覆われているもので 現されないものはなく， 隱されているもので 知られずに 濟むものはないからである．
- わたしが 暗闇であなたがたに 言うことを， 明るみで 言いなさい． 耳打ちされたことを， 屋根の 上で 言い 廣めなさい．
- 體は 殺しても， 魂を 殺すことのできない 者どもを 恐れるな． むしろ， 魂も 體も 地獄で 滅ぼすことのできる 方を 恐れなさい．
- 二羽の 雀が 一 アサリオン で 賣られているではないか． だが， その 一羽さえ， あなたがたの 父のお 許しがなければ， 地に 落ちることはない．
- あなたがたの 髮の 毛までも 一本殘らず 數えられている．

- Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
- What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
- And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
- Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
- But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

- だから， 恐れるな． あなたがたは， たくさんの 雀よりもはるかにまさっている． 」
- 「だから， だれでも 人¿の 前で 自分をわたしの 仲間であると 言い 表す 者は， わたしも 天の 父の 前で， その 人をわたしの 仲間であると 言い 表す．
- しかし， 人¿の 前でわたしを 知らないと 言う 者は， わたしも 天の 父の 前で， その 人を 知らないと 言う． 」
- 「わたしが 來たのは 地上に 平和をもたらすためだ， と 思ってはならない． 平和ではなく， 劍をもたらすために 來たのだ．
- わたしは 敵對させるために 來たからである． 人をその 父に， ／娘を 母に， ／嫁をしゅうとめに．

- Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.
- Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
- But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
- Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
- For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

- こうして， 自分の 家族の 者が 敵となる．
- わたしよりも 父や 母を 愛する 者は， わたしにふさわしくない． わたしよりも 息子や 娘を 愛する 者も， わたしにふさわしくない．
- また， 自分の 十字架を 擔ってわたしに 從わない 者は， わたしにふさわしくない．
- 自分の 命を 得ようとする 者は， それを 失い， わたしのために 命を 失う 者は， かえってそれを 得るのである． 」
- 「あなたがたを 受け 入れる 人は， わたしを 受け 入れ， わたしを 受け 入れる 人は， わたしを 遣わされた 方を 受け 入れるのである．

- And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
- He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
- He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

- 預言者を 預言者として 受け 入れる 人は， 預言者と 同じ 報いを 受け， 正しい 者を 正しい 者として 受け 入れる 人は， 正しい 者と 同じ 報いを 受ける．
- はっきり 言っておく． わたしの 弟子だという 理由で， この 小さな 者の 一人に， 冷たい 水一杯でも 飮ませてくれる 人は， 必ずその 報いを 受ける． 」

- He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
- And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
