- 一行が エルサレム に 近づいて， オリ ― ブ 山のふもとにある ベトファゲ と ベタニア にさしかかったとき， イエス は 二人の 弟子を 使いに 出そうとして，
- 言われた． 「向こうの 村へ 行きなさい． 村に 入るとすぐ， まだだれも 乘ったことのない 子ろばのつないであるのが 見つかる． それをほどいて， 連れて 來なさい．
- もし， だれかが， 『なぜ， そんなことをするのか 』と 言ったら， 『主がお 入り 用なのです． すぐここにお 返しになります 』と 言いなさい． 」
- 二人は， 出かけて 行くと， 表通りの 戶口に 子ろばのつないであるのを 見つけたので， それをほどいた．
- すると， そこに 居合わせたある 人¿が， 「その 子ろばをほどいてどうするのか 」と 言った．

- And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,
- And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
- And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
- And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
- And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?

- 二人が， イエス の 言われたとおり 話すと， 許してくれた．
- 二人が 子ろばを 連れて イエス のところに 戾って 來て， その 上に 自分の 服をかけると， イエス はそれにお 乘りになった．
- 多くの 人が 自分の 服を 道に 敷き， また， ほかの 人¿は 野原から 葉の 付いた 枝を 切って 來て 道に 敷いた．
- そして， 前を 行く 者も 後に 從う 者も 叫んだ． 「ホサナ ． 主の 名によって 來られる 方に， ／祝福があるように．
- 我らの 父 ダビデ の 來るべき 國に， ／祝福があるように． いと 高きところに ホサナ ． 」

- And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
- And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
- And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
- And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
- Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.

- こうして， イエス は エルサレム に 着いて， 神殿の 境內に 入り， 邊りの 樣子を 見て 回った 後， もはや 夕方になったので， 十二人を 連れて ベタニア へ 出て 行かれた．
- 翌日， 一行が ベタニア を 出るとき， イエス は 空腹を 覺えられた．
- そこで， 葉の 茂ったいちじくの 木を 遠くから 見て， 實がなってはいないかと 近寄られたが， 葉のほかは 何もなかった． いちじくの 季節ではなかったからである．
- イエス はその 木に 向かって， 「今から 後いつまでも， お 前から 實を 食べる 者がないように 」と 言われた． 弟子たちはこれを 聞いていた．
- それから， 一行は エルサレム に 來た． イエス は 神殿の 境內に 入り， そこで 賣り 買いしていた 人¿を 追い 出し 始め， 兩替人の 台や 鳩を 賣る 者の 腰掛けをひっくり 返された．

- And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.
- And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:
- And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
- And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.
- And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

- また， 境內を 通って 物を 運ぶこともお 許しにならなかった．
- そして， 人¿に 敎えて 言われた． 「こう 書いてあるではないか． 『わたしの 家は， すべての 國の 人の ／祈りの 家と 呼ばれるべきである． 』／ところが， あなたたちは ／それを 强盜の 巢にしてしまった． 」
- 祭司長たちや 律法學者たちはこれを 聞いて， イエス をどのようにして 殺そうかと 謀った． 群衆が 皆その 敎えに 打たれていたので， 彼らは イエス を 恐れたからである．
- 夕方になると， イエス は 弟子たちと 都の 外に 出て 行かれた．
- 翌朝早く， 一行は 通りがかりに， あのいちじくの 木が 根元から 枯れているのを 見た．

- And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
- And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
- And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.
- And when even was come, he went out of the city.
- And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.

- そこで， ペトロ は 思い 出して イエス に 言った． 「先生， 御覽ください． あなたが 呪われたいちじくの 木が， 枯れています． 」
- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「神を 信じなさい．
- はっきり 言っておく． だれでもこの 山に 向かい， 『立ち 上がって， 海に 飛び ¿め 』と 言い， 少しも 疑わず， 自分の 言うとおりになると 信じるならば， そのとおりになる．
- だから， 言っておく． 祈り 求めるものはすべて 旣に 得られたと 信じなさい． そうすれば， そのとおりになる．
- また， 立って 祈るとき， だれかに 對して 何か 恨みに 思うことがあれば， 赦してあげなさい． そうすれば， あなたがたの 天の 父も， あなたがたの 過ちを 赦してくださる． 」

- And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
- And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
- For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
- Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
- And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

- ＊もし 赦さないなら， あなたがたの 天の 父も， あなたがたの 過ちをお 赦しにならない．

- But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
