- イエス は， 十二人を 呼び 寄せて 言われた． 「今， わたしたちは エルサレム へ 上って 行く． 人の 子について 預言者が 書いたことはみな 實現する．
- 人の 子は 異邦人に 引き 渡されて， 侮辱され， 亂暴な 仕打ちを 受け， 唾をかけられる．
- 彼らは 人の 子を， 鞭打ってから 殺す． そして， 人の 子は 三日目に 復活する． 」
- 十二人はこれらのことが 何も 分からなかった． 彼らにはこの 言葉の 意味が 隱されていて， イエス の 言われたことが 理解できなかったのである．
- イエス が エリコ に 近づかれたとき， ある 盲人が 道端に 座って 物乞いをしていた．

- Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.
- He will be handed over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him.
- On the third day he will rise again."
- The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.

- 群衆が 通って 行くのを 耳にして， 「これは， いったい 何事ですか 」と 尋ねた．
- 「ナザレ の イエス のお 通りだ 」と 知らせると，
- 彼は， 「ダビデ の 子 イエス よ， わたしを 憐れんでください 」と 叫んだ．
- 先に 行く 人¿が 叱りつけて 默らせようとしたが， ますます， 「ダビデ の 子よ， わたしを 憐れんでください 」と 叫び 續けた．
- イエス は 立ち 止まって， 盲人をそばに 連れて 來るように 命じられた． 彼が 近づくと， イエス はお 尋ねになった．

- When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.
- They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by."
- He called out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
- Those who led the way rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
- Jesus stopped and ordered the man to be brought to him. When he came near, Jesus asked him,

- 「何をしてほしいのか． 」盲人は， 「主よ， 目が 見えるようになりたいのです 」と 言った．
- そこで， イエス は 言われた． 「見えるようになれ． あなたの 信仰があなたを 救った． 」
- 盲人はたちまち 見えるようになり， 神をほめたたえながら， イエス に 從った． これを 見た 民衆は， こぞって 神を 贊美した．

- "What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord, I want to see," he replied.
- Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has healed you."
- Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, praising God. When all the people saw it, they also praised God.
