- 人¿からでもなく， 人を 通してでもなく， イエス · キリスト と， キリスト を 死者の 中から 復活させた 父である 神とによって 使徒とされた パウロ ，
- ならびに， わたしと 一緖にいる 兄弟一同から， ガラテヤ 地方の 諸敎會へ．
- わたしたちの 父である 神と， 主 イエス · キリスト の 惠みと 平和が， あなたがたにあるように．
- キリスト は， わたしたちの 神であり 父である 方の 御心に 從い， この 惡の 世からわたしたちを 救い 出そうとして， 御自身をわたしたちの 罪のために 獻げてくださったのです．
- わたしたちの 神であり 父である 方に 世¿限りなく 榮光がありますように， ア ― メン ．

- Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
- And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
- Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
- Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
- To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

- キリスト の 惠みへ 招いてくださった 方から， あなたがたがこんなにも 早く 離れて， ほかの 福音に 乘り 換えようとしていることに， わたしはあきれ 果てています．
- ほかの 福音といっても， もう 一つ 別の 福音があるわけではなく， ある 人¿があなたがたを 惑わし， キリスト の 福音を 覆そうとしているにすぎないのです．
- しかし， たとえわたしたち 自身であれ， 天使であれ， わたしたちがあなたがたに 告げ 知らせたものに 反する 福音を 告げ 知らせようとするならば， 呪われるがよい．
- わたしたちが 前にも 言っておいたように， 今また， わたしは 繰り 返して 言います． あなたがたが 受けたものに 反する 福音を 告げ 知らせる 者がいれば， 呪われるがよい．
- こんなことを 言って， 今わたしは 人に 取り 入ろうとしているのでしょうか． それとも， 神に 取り 入ろうとしているのでしょうか． あるいは， 何とかして 人の 氣に 入ろうとあくせくしているのでしょうか． もし， 今なお 人の 氣に 入ろうとしているなら， わたしは キリスト の 僕ではありません．

- I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
- Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
- But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
- As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
- For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

- 兄弟たち， あなたがたにはっきり 言います． わたしが 告げ 知らせた 福音は， 人によるものではありません．
- わたしはこの 福音を 人から 受けたのでも 敎えられたのでもなく， イエス · キリスト の 啓示によって 知らされたのです．
- あなたがたは， わたしがかつて ユダヤ 敎徒としてどのようにふるまっていたかを 聞いています． わたしは， 徹底的に 神の 敎會を 迫害し， 滅ぼそうとしていました．
- また， 先祖からの 傳承を 守るのに 人一倍熱心で， 同胞の 間では 同じ 年ごろの 多くの 者よりも ユダヤ 敎に 徹しようとしていました．
- しかし， わたしを 母の 胎內にあるときから 選び 分け， 惠みによって 召し 出してくださった 神が， 御心のままに，

- But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
- For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
- And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
- But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

- 御子をわたしに 示して， その 福音を 異邦人に 告げ 知らせるようにされたとき， わたしは， すぐ 血肉に 相談するようなことはせず，
- また， エルサレム に 上って， わたしより 先に 使徒として 召された 人たちのもとに 行くこともせず， アラビア に 退いて， そこから 再び ダマスコ に 戾ったのでした．
- それから 三年後， ケファ と 知り 合いになろうとして エルサレム に 上り， 十五日間彼のもとに 滯在しましたが，
- ほかの 使徒にはだれにも 會わず， ただ 主の 兄弟 ヤコブ にだけ 會いました．
- わたしがこのように 書いていることは， 神の 御前で 斷言しますが， うそをついているのではありません．

- To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
- Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
- Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
- But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.
- Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

- その 後， わたしは シリア および キリキア の 地方へ 行きました．
- キリスト に 結ばれている ユダヤ の 諸敎會の 人¿とは， 顔見知りではありませんでした．
- ただ 彼らは， 「かつて 我¿を 迫害した 者が， あの 當時滅ぼそうとしていた 信仰を， 今は 福音として 告げ 知らせている 」と 聞いて，
- わたしのことで 神をほめたたえておりました．

- Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
- And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
- But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
- And they glorified God in me.
