- すべての 人との 平和を， また 聖なる 生活を 追い 求めなさい． 聖なる 生活を 拔きにして， だれも 主を 見ることはできません．
- 神の 惠みから 除かれることのないように， また， 苦い 根が 現れてあなたがたを 惱まし， それによって 多くの 人が 汚れることのないように， 氣をつけなさい．
- また， だれであれ， ただ 一杯の 食物のために 長子の 權利を 讓り 渡した エサウ のように， みだらな 者や 俗惡な 者とならないよう 氣をつけるべきです．
- あなたがたも 知っているとおり， エサウ は 後になって 祝福を 受け 繼ぎたいと 願ったが， 拒絶されたからです． 淚を 流して 求めたけれども， 事態を 變えてもらうことができなかったのです．
- -19 あなたがたは 手で 觸れることができるものや， 燃える 火， 黑雲， 暗闇， 暴風， ラッパ の 音， 更に， 聞いた 人¿がこれ 以上語ってもらいたくないと 願ったような 言葉の 聲に， 近づいたのではありません．

- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
- Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
- Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
- For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
- For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

- 彼らは， 「たとえ ¿でも， 山に 觸れれば， 石を 投げつけて 殺さなければならない 」という 命令に 耐えられなかったのです．
- また， その 樣子があまりにも 恐ろしいものだったので， モ ― セ すら， 「わたしはおびえ， 震えている 」と 言ったほどです．
- しかし， あなたがたが 近づいたのは， シオン の 山， 生ける 神の 都， 天の エルサレム ， 無數の 天使たちの 祝いの 集まり，
- 天に 登錄されている 長子たちの 集會， すべての 人の 審判者である 神， 完全なものとされた 正しい 人たちの 靈，

- And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
- (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
- And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
- But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
- To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

- 新しい 契約の 仲介者 イエス ， そして， アベル の 血よりも 立派に 語る 注がれた 血です．
- あなたがたは， 語っている 方を 拒むことのないように 氣をつけなさい． もし， 地上で 神の 御旨を 告げる 人を 拒む 者たちが， 罰を 逃れられなかったとするなら， 天から 御旨を 告げる 方に 背を 向けるわたしたちは， なおさらそうではありませんか．
- あのときは， その 御聲が 地を ¿り 動かしましたが， 今は 次のように 約束しておられます． 「わたしはもう 一度， 地だけではなく 天をも ¿り 動かそう． 」
- この「もう 一度 」は， ¿り 動かされないものが 存續するために， ¿り 動かされるものが， 造られたものとして 取り 除かれることを 示しています．
- このように， わたしたちは ¿り 動かされることのない 御國を 受けているのですから， 感謝しよう． 感謝の 念をもって， 畏れ 敬いながら， 神に 喜ばれるように 仕えていこう．

- And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel.
- See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
- Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
- And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
- Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

- 實に， わたしたちの 神は， 燒き 盡くす 火です．

- For our God is a consuming fire.
