민수기 35:1-36:13

 하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성에게 그들의 기업 중 일부를 레위인에게 줄 것을 명하셨다. 레위인은 모두 48성읍을 받게 되었는데, 하나님께서는 그 중 6성읍을 도피성으로 정하여 과실로 살인한 자들이 피할 수 있게 하셨다. 슬로브핫 딸들은 하나님께서 제정하신 여성 상속법에 따라 자신과 같은 지파 남자와 결혼하여 기업을 지켰다.
  
  레위 지파의 성읍(35:1-35:34)    
 
  1. エリコ に 近い ヨルダン のほとりの モアブ の 草原で， 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  2. 「イスラエル 人に 命じて， その 所有となる 相續地の 一部を， レビ 人に 住むための 町¿として 與えさせなさい． 彼らはその 町¿の 回りの 放牧地を レビ 人に 與えなければならない．
  3. 町¿は 彼らが 住むためであり， その 放牧地は 彼らの 家畜や 群れや， すべての ¿のためである．
  4. あなたがたが レビ 人に 與える 町¿の 放牧地は， 町の 城壁から 外側に， 回り 一千 キュビト でなければならない．

  1. On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, the LORD said to Moses,
  2. "Command the Israelites to give the Levites towns to live in from the inheritance the Israelites will possess. And give them pasturelands around the towns.
  3. Then they will have towns to live in and pasturelands for their cattle, flocks and all their other livestock.
  4. "The pasturelands around the towns that you give the Levites will extend out fifteen hundred feet from the town wall.
  5. Outside the town, measure three thousand feet on the east side, three thousand on the south side, three thousand on the west and three thousand on the north, with the town in the center. They will have this area as pastureland for the towns.
  1. あなたがたが， レビ 人に 與える 町¿， すなわち， 人を 殺した 者がそこにのがれるために 與える 六つの， のがれの 町と， そのほかに， 四十二の 町を 與えなければならない．
  2. あなたがたが レビ 人に 與える 町は， 全部で 四十八の 町で， 放牧地つきである．
  3. あなたがたが イスラエル 人の 所有地のうちから 與える 町¿は， 大きい 部族からは 多く， 小さい 部族からは 少なくしなければならない． おのおの 自分の 相續した 相續地に 應じて， 自分の 町¿から レビ 人に 與えなければならない． 」
  4. 主は モ ― セ に 告げて 仰せられた．
  5. 「イスラエル 人に 告げて， 彼らに 言え． あなたがたが ヨルダン を 渡って カナン の 地にはいるとき，
  1. "Six of the towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In addition, give them forty-two other towns.
  2. In all you must give the Levites forty-eight towns, together with their pasturelands.
  3. The towns you give the Levites from the land the Israelites possess are to be given in proportion to the inheritance of each tribe: Take many towns from a tribe that has many, but few from one that has few."
  4. Then the LORD said to Moses:
  5. "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,
  1. あなたがたは 町¿を 定めなさい． それをあなたがたのために， のがれの 町とし， あやまって 人を 打ち 殺した 殺人者がそこにのがれることができるようにしなければならない．
  2. この 町¿は， あなたがたが 復讐する 者から， のがれる 所で， 殺人者が， さばきのために 會衆の 前に 立つ 前に， 死ぬことのないためである．
  3. あなたがたが 與える 町¿は， あなたがたのために 六つの， のがれの 町としなければならない．
  4. ヨルダン のこちら 側に 三つの 町を 與え， カナン の 地に 三つの 町を 與えて， あなたがたののがれの 町としなければならない．

  1. select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee.
  2. They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that a person accused of murder may not die before he stands trial before the assembly.
  3. These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.
  4. Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.
  5. These six towns will be a place of refuge for Israelites, aliens and any other people living among them, so that anyone who has killed another accidentally can flee there.
  1. 人がもし 鐵の 器具で 人を 打って 死なせたなら， その 者は 殺人者である． その 殺人者は 必ず 殺されなければならない．
  2. もし， 人を 殺せるほどの 石の 道具で 人を 打って 死なせたなら， その 者は 殺人者である． 殺人者は 必ず 殺されなければならない．
  3. あるいは， 人を 殺せるほどの 木製の 器具で， 人を 打って 死なせたなら， その 者は 殺人者である． 殺人者は 必ず 殺されなければならない．
  4. 血の 復讐をする 者は， 自分でその 殺人者を 殺してもよい． 彼と 出會ったときに， 彼を 殺してもよい．

  1. " 'If a man strikes someone with an iron object so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
  2. Or if anyone has a stone in his hand that could kill, and he strikes someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
  3. Or if anyone has a wooden object in his hand that could kill, and he hits someone so that he dies, he is a murderer; the murderer shall be put to death.
  4. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death; when he meets him, he shall put him to death.
  5. If anyone with malice aforethought shoves another or throws something at him intentionally so that he dies
  1. あるいは， 敵意をもって 人を 手で 打って 死なせるなら， その 打った 者は 必ず 殺されなければならない． 彼は 殺人者である． その 血の 復讐をする 者は， 彼と 出會ったときに， その 殺人者を 殺してもよい．
  2. もし 敵意もなく 人を 突き， あるいは 惡意なしに 何か 物を 投げつけ，
  3. または 氣がつかないで， 人を 死なせるほどの 石を 人の 上に 落とし， それによって 死なせた 場合， しかもその 人が 自分の 敵でもなく， 傷つけようとしたのでもなければ，

  1. or if in hostility he hits him with his fist so that he dies, that person shall be put to death; he is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
  2. " 'But if without hostility someone suddenly shoves another or throws something at him unintentionally
  3. or, without seeing him, drops a stone on him that could kill him, and he dies, then since he was not his enemy and he did not intend to harm him,
  4. the assembly must judge between him and the avenger of blood according to these regulations.
  5. The assembly must protect the one accused of murder from the avenger of blood and send him back to the city of refuge to which he fled. He must stay there until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.
  1. もし， その 殺人者が， 自分が 逃げ ¿んだのがれの 町の 境界から 出て 行き，
  2. 血の 復讐をする 者が， そののがれの 町の 境界の 外で 彼を 見つけて， その 殺人者を 殺しても， 彼には 血を 流した 罪はない．
  3. その 者は， 大祭司が 死ぬまでは， そののがれの 町に 住んでいなければならないからである． 大祭司の 死後には， その 殺人者は， 自分の 所有地に 歸ることができる．

  1. " 'But if the accused ever goes outside the limits of the city of refuge to which he has fled
  2. and the avenger of blood finds him outside the city, the avenger of blood may kill the accused without being guilty of murder.
  3. The accused must stay in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest; only after the death of the high priest may he return to his own property.
  4. " 'These are to be legal requirements for you throughout the generations to come, wherever you live.
  5. " 'Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
  1. あなたがたは， 死刑に 當たる 惡を 行なった 殺人者のいのちのために ·い 金を 受け 取ってはならない． 彼は 必ず 殺されなければならない．
  2. のがれの 町に 逃げ ¿んだ 者のために， ·い 金を 受け 取り， 祭司が 死ぬ 前に， 國に 歸らせて 住まわせてはならない．
  3. あなたがたは， 自分たちのいる 土地を 汚してはならない． 血は 土地を 汚すからである． 土地に 流された 血についてその 土地を ·うには， その 土地に 血を 流させた 者の 血による 以外はない．

  1. " 'Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. He must surely be put to death.
  2. " 'Do not accept a ransom for anyone who has fled to a city of refuge and so allow him to go back and live on his own land before the death of the high priest.
  3. " 'Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed, except by the blood of the one who shed it.
  4. Do not defile the land where you live and where I dwell, for I, the LORD, dwell among the Israelites.' "
 
  슬로브핫 딸들의 기업(36:1-36:13)    
 
  1. ヨセフ 族の 一つ， マナセ の 子 マキル の 子 ギルアデ の 氏族に 屬する 諸家族のかしらたちが 進み 出て， モ ― セ と イスラエル 人の 諸家族のかしらである 家長たちに 訴えて，
  2. 言った． 「主は， あの 土地をくじによって イスラエル 人に 相續地として 與えるように， あなたに 命じられました． そしてまた， 私たちの 親類 ツェロフハデ の 相續地を， 彼の 娘たちに 與えるように， あなたは 主に 命じられています．
  3. もし 彼女たちが， イスラエル 人の 他の 部族の 息子たちにとついだなら， 彼女たちの 相續地は， 私たちの 父祖の 相續地から 差し 引かれて， 彼女たちがとつぐ 部族の 相續地に 加えられましょう． こうして 私たちの 相續の 地所は 減ることになります．
  4. イスラエル 人の ヨベル の 年になれば， 彼女たちの 相續地は， 彼女たちのとつぐ 部族の 相續地に 加えられ， 彼女たちの 相續地は， 私たちの 父祖の 部族の 相續地から 差し 引かれることになります． 」
  5. そこで モ ― セ は， 主の 命により， イスラエル 人に 命じて 言った． 「ヨセフ 部族の 訴えはもっともである．
  1. The family heads of the clan of Gilead son of Makir, the son of Manasseh, who were from the clans of the descendants of Joseph, came and spoke before Moses and the leaders, the heads of the Israelite families.
  2. They said, "When the LORD commanded my lord to give the land as an inheritance to the Israelites by lot, he ordered you to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.
  3. Now suppose they marry men from other Israelite tribes; then their inheritance will be taken from our ancestral inheritance and added to that of the tribe they marry into. And so part of the inheritance allotted to us will be taken away.
  4. When the Year of Jubilee for the Israelites comes, their inheritance will be added to that of the tribe into which they marry, and their property will be taken from the tribal inheritance of our forefathers."
  5. Then at the LORD's command Moses gave this order to the Israelites: "What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right.
  1. 主が ツェロフハデ の 娘たちについて 命じて 仰せられたことは 次のとおりである． 『彼女たちは， その 心にかなう 人にとついでよい． ただし， 彼女たちの 父の 部族に 屬する 氏族にとつがなければならない．
  2. イスラエル 人の 相續地は， 一つの 部族から 他の 部族に 移してはならない． イスラエル 人は， おのおのその 父祖の 部族の 相續地を 堅く 守らなければならないからである．
  3. イスラエル 人の 部族のうち， 相續地を 受け 繼ぐ 娘はみな， その 父の 部族に 屬する 氏族のひとりにとつがなければならない． イスラエル 人が， おのおのその 父祖の 相續地を 受け 繼ぐためである．
  4. こうして 相續地は， 一つの 部族から 他の 部族に 移してはならない． イスラエル 人の 部族は， おのおのその 相續地を 堅く 守らなければならないからである． 』」
  5. ツェロフハデ の 娘たちは， 主が モ ― セ に 命じられたとおりに 行なった．
  1. This is what the LORD commands for Zelophehad's daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within the tribal clan of their father.
  2. No inheritance in Israel is to pass from tribe to tribe, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal land inherited from his forefathers.
  3. Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father's tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of his fathers.
  4. No inheritance may pass from tribe to tribe, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits."
  5. So Zelophehad's daughters did as the LORD commanded Moses.
  1. ツェロフハデ の 娘たち， マフラ ， ティルツァ ， ホグラ ， ミルカ および ノア は， そのおじの 息子たちにとついだ．
  2. 彼女たちは， ヨセフ の 子 マナセ の 子孫の 氏族にとついだので， 彼女たちの 相續地は， 彼女たちの 父の 氏族の 部族に 殘った．
  3. これらは， エリコ に 近い ヨルダン のほとりの モアブ の 草原で， 主が モ ― セ を 通して イスラエル 人に 命じた 命令と 定めである．
  1. Zelophehad's daughters--Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah--married their cousins on their father's side.
  2. They married within the clans of the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in their father's clan and tribe.
  3. These are the commands and regulations the LORD gave through Moses to the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
