학개

  본서는 학개 선지자가 성전 공사의 속행을 격려하고 권고하기 위해 기록하였다.

  학개는 하나님의 성전을 짓지 않고 자신의 집을 짓기에만 열중하는 백성을 꾸짖으면서 그들의 소위를 스스로 살펴볼 것을 권한다. 이에 스룹바벨과 여호수아와 백성들이 성전 건축을 시작한다. 일부 바벨론에서 돌아온 자들이 이전 성전의 영광과 비교해서 백성들을 낙심시키지만, 학개는 지금의 작업이 거대한 예언적 섭리의 일부이며 이 성전의 영광이 이전 성전의 영광보다 더 클 것이라고 하며 백성들에게 용기를 준다.

 

 

학개 1:1-2:23

 학개는 중단된 성전 재건에 관한 하나님의 말씀을 선포하였다. 그는 나태와 안일에 빠져 있는 이스라엘 백성을 책망하면서 그들이 이로 인해 여러 재해를 당하고 있음을 알렸다. 이에 이스라엘 백성은 회개한 후 성전을 재건하기 시작했다. 학개는 솔로몬 성전에 비해 왜소한 새 성전을 보고 낙담한 백성들을 격려하면서 스룹바벨에 대한 구원의 축복을 예언하였다.
  
  성전 재건(1:1-2:23)    
 
  1. ダリヨス 王の 第二年の 第六の 月の 一日に， 預言者 ハガイ を 通して， シェアルティエル の 子， ユダ の 總督 ゼルバベル と， エホツァダク の 子， 大祭司 ヨシュア とに， 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  2. 「万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． この 民は， 主の 宮を 建てる 時はまだ 來ない， と 言っている． 」
  3. ついで 預言者 ハガイ を 通して， 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  4. 「この 宮が 廢墟となっているのに， あなたがただけが 板張りの 家に 住むべき 時であろうか．
  5. 今， 万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． あなたがたの 現狀をよく 考えよ．
  1. In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest:
  2. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD's house to be built.' "
  3. Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:
  4. "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"
  5. Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.
  1. あなたがたは， 多くの 種を 蒔いたが 少ししか 取り 入れず， 食べたが 飽き 足らず， 飮んだが 醉えず， 着物を 着たが 暖まらない． かせぐ 者がかせいでも， 穴のあいた 袋に 入れるだけだ．
  2. 万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． あなたがたの 現狀をよく 考えよ．
  3. 山に 登り， 木を 運んで 來て， 宮を 建てよ． そうすれば， わたしはそれを 喜び， わたしの 榮光を 現わそう． 主は 仰せられる．
  4. あなたがたは 多くを 期待したが， 見よ， わずかであった． あなたがたが 家に 持ち 歸ったとき， わたしはそれを 吹き 飛ばした． それはなぜか． ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ··それは， 廢墟となったわたしの 宮のためだ． あなたがたがみな， 自分の 家のために 走り 回っていたからだ．
  5. それゆえ， 天はあなたがたのために 露を 降らすことをやめ， 地は 産物を 差し 止めた．
  1. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."
  2. This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways.
  3. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD.
  4. "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.
  5. Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops.
  1. わたしはまた， 地にも， 山¿にも， 穀物にも， 新しいぶどう 酒にも， 油にも， 地が 生やす 物にも， 人にも， 家畜にも， 手によるすべての 勤勞の 實にも， ひでりを 呼び 寄せた． 」
  2. そこで， シェアルティエル の 子 ゼルバベル と， エホツァダク の 子， 大祭司 ヨシュア と， 民のすべての 殘りの 者とは， 彼らの 神， 主の 御聲と， また， 彼らの 神， 主が 遣わされた 預言者 ハガイ のことばとに 聞き 從った． 民は 主の 前で 恐れた．

  1. I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."
  2. Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD.
  3. Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD.
  4. So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God,
  5. on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of King Darius.
 
 
  1. ダリヨス 王の 第二年の 第七の 月の 二十一日に， 預言者 ハガイ を 通して， 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  2. 「シェアルティエル の 子， ユダ の 總督 ゼルバベル と， エホツァダク の 子， 大祭司 ヨシュア と， 民の 殘りの 者とに 次のように 言え．
  3. あなたがたのうち， 以前の 榮光に 輝くこの 宮を 見たことのある， 生き 殘った 者はだれか． あなたがたは， 今， これをどう 見ているのか． あなたがたの 目には， まるで 無いに 等しいのではないか．
  4. しかし， ゼルバベル よ， 今， 强くあれ． ··主の 御告げ． ·· エホツァダク の 子， 大祭司 ヨシュア よ． 强くあれ． この 國のすべての 民よ． 强くあれ． ··主の 御告げ． ··仕事に 取りかかれ． わたしがあなたがたとともにいるからだ． ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ··
  5. あなたがたが エジプト から 出て 來たとき， わたしがあなたがたと 結んだ 約束により， わたしの 靈があなたがたの 間で ¿いている． 恐れるな．
  1. On the twenty-first day of the seventh month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai:
  2. "Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people. Ask them,
  3. 'Who of you is left who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing?
  4. But now be strong, O Zerubbabel,' declares the LORD. 'Be strong, O Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,' declares the LORD, 'and work. For I am with you,' declares the LORD Almighty.
  5. 'This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.'
  1. まことに， 万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． しばらくして， もう 一度， わたしは 天と 地と， 海と 陸とを ¿り 動かす．
  2. わたしは， すべての 國¿を ¿り 動かす． すべての 國¿の 寶物がもたらされ， わたしはこの 宮を 榮光で 滿たす． 万軍の 主は 仰せられる．
  3. 銀はわたしのもの． 金もわたしのもの． ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ··
  4. この 宮のこれから 後の 榮光は， 先のものよりまさろう． 万軍の 主は 仰せられる． わたしはまた， この 所に 平和を 與える． ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ··」
  5. ダリヨス の 第二年の 第九の 月の 二十四日， 預言者 ハガイ に 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  1. "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.
  2. I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty.
  3. 'The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty.
  4. 'The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. 'And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty."
  5. On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to the prophet Haggai:
  1. 「万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． 次の 律法について， 祭司たちに 尋ねて 言え．
  2. もし 人が 聖なる 肉を 自分の 着物のすそで 運ぶとき， そのすそが パン や 煮物， ぶどう 酒や 油， またどんな 食物にでも 觸れたなら， それは 聖なるものとなるか． 」祭司たちは 答えて「否． 」と 言った．
  3. そこで ハガイ は 言った． 「もし 死體によって 汚れた 人が， これらのどれにでも 觸れたなら， それは 汚れるか． 」祭司たちは 答えて「汚れる． 」と 言った．
  4. ハガイ はそれに 應じて 言った． 「わたしにとっては， この 民はそのようなものだ． この 國もそのようである． ··主の 御告げ． ··彼らの 手で 作ったすべての 物もそのようだ． 彼らがそこにささげる 物， それは 汚れている．
  5. さあ， 今， あなたがたは， きょうから 後のことをよく 考えよ． 主の 神殿で 石が 積み 重ねられる 前は，
  1. "This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Ask the priests what the law says:
  2. If a person carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment, and that fold touches some bread or stew, some wine, oil or other food, does it become consecrated?' " The priests answered, "No."
  3. Then Haggai said, "If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things, does it become defiled?" "Yes," the priests replied, "it becomes defiled."
  4. Then Haggai said, " 'So it is with this people and this nation in my sight,' declares the LORD. 'Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled.
  5. " 'Now give careful thought to this from this day on --consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the LORD's temple.
  1. あなたがたはどうであったか． 二十の 麥束の 積んである 所に 行っても， ただ 十束しかなく， 五十おけを 汲もうと 酒ぶねに 行っても， 二十おけ 分しかなかった．
  2. わたしは， あなたがたを 立ち 枯れと 黑穗病とで 打ち， あなたがたの 手がけた 物をことごとく 音で 打った． しかし， あなたがたのうちだれひとり， わたしに 歸って 來なかった． ··主の 御告げ． ··
  3. さあ， あなたがたは， きょうから 後のことをよく 考えよ． すなわち， 第九の 月の 二十四日， 主の 神殿の 礎が 据えられた 日から 後のことをよく 考えよ．
  4. 種はまだ 穀物倉にあるだろうか． ぶどうの 木， いちじくの 木， ざくろの 木， オリ ― ブ の 木は， まだ 實を 結ばないだろうか． きょうから 後， わたしは 祝福しよう． 」
  5. その 月の 二十四日， ハガイ に 再び 次のような 主のことばがあった．
  1. When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures, there were only twenty.
  2. I struck all the work of your hands with blight, mildew and hail, yet you did not turn to me,' declares the LORD.
  3. 'From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid. Give careful thought:
  4. Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. " 'From this day on I will bless you.' "
  5. The word of the LORD came to Haggai a second time on the twenty-fourth day of the month:
  1. 「ユダ の 總督 ゼルバベル に 次のように 言え． わたしは 天と 地とを ¿り 動かし，
  2. もろもろの 王國の 王座をくつがえし， 異邦の 民の 王國の 力を 滅ぼし， 戰車と， それに 乘る 者をくつがえす． 馬と 騎兵は 彼ら 仲間同士の 劍によって 倒れる．
  3. その 日， ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ·· シェアルティエル の 子， わたしのしもべ ゼルバベル よ， わたしはあなたを 選び 取る． ··主の 御告げ． ··わたしはあなたを 印形のようにする． わたしがあなたを 選んだからだ． ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ··」
  1. "Tell Zerubbabel governor of Judah that I will shake the heavens and the earth.
  2. I will overturn royal thrones and shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms. I will overthrow chariots and their drivers; horses and their riders will fall, each by the sword of his brother.
  3. " 'On that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will take you, my servant Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel,' declares the LORD, 'and I will make you like my signet ring, for I have chosen you,' declares the LORD Almighty."
