- そのころ， エルサレム で， 宮きよめの 祭りがあった．
- 時は 冬であった． イエス は， 宮の 中で， ソロモン の 廊を 步いておられた．
- それで ユダヤ 人たちは， イエス を 取り 圍んで 言った． 「あなたは， いつまで 私たちに 氣をもませるのですか． もしあなたが キリスト なら， はっきりとそう 言� チ てください． 」
- イエス は 彼らに 答えられた． 「わたしは 話しました． しかし， あなたがたは 信じないのです． わたしが 父の 御名によって 行なうわざが， わたしについて 證言しています．
- しかし， あなたがたは 信じません． それは， あなたがたがわたしの 羊に 屬していないからです．

- And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
- And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
- Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
- Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
- But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

- わたしの 羊はわたしの 聲を 聞き 分けます． またわたしは 彼らを 知っています． そして 彼らはわたしについて 來ます．
- わたしは 彼らに 永遠のいのちを 與えます． 彼らは 決して 滅びることがなく， また， だれもわたしの 手から 彼らを 奪い 去るようなことはありません．
- わたしに 彼らをお 與えになった 父は， すべてにまさって 偉大です． だれもわたしの 父の 御手から 彼らを 奪い 去ることはできません．
- わたしと 父とは 一つです． 」
- ユダヤ 人たちは， イエス を 石打ちにしようとして， また 石を 取り 上げた．

- My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
- And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
- My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
- I and my Father are one.
- Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

- イエス は 彼らに 答えられた． 「わたしは， 父から 出た 多くの 良いわざを， あなたがたに 示しました． そのうちのどのわざのために， わたしを 石打ちにしようとするのですか． 」
- ユダヤ 人たちは イエス に 答えた． 「良いわざのためにあなたを 石打ちにするのではありません． 冒瀆のためです． あなたは 人間でありながら， 自分を 神とするからです． 」
- イエス は 彼らに 答えられた． 「あなたがたの 律法に， 『わたしは 言った， あなたがたは 神である． 』と 書いてはありませんか．
- もし， 神のことばを 受けた 人¿を， 神と 呼んだとすれば， 聖書は 廢棄されるものではないから，
- 『わたしは 神の 子である． 』とわたしが 言ったからといって， どうしてあなたがたは， 父が， 聖であることを 示して 世に 遣わした 者について， 『神を 冒瀆している． 』と 言うのですか．

- Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
- The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
- Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
- If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
- Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

- もしわたしが， わたしの 父のみわざを 行なっていないのなら， わたしを 信じないでいなさい．
- しかし， もし 行なっているなら， たといわたしの 言うことが 信じられなくても， わざを 信用しなさい． それは， 父がわたしにおられ， わたしが 父にいることを， あなたがたが 悟り， また 知るためです． 」
- そこで， 彼らはまた イエス を 捕えようとした． しかし， イエス は 彼らの 手からのがれられた．
- そして， イエス はまた ヨルダン を 渡って， ヨハネ が 初めに バプテスマ を 授けていた 所に 行かれ， そこに 滯在された．
- 多くの 人¿が イエス のところに 來た． 彼らは， 「ヨハネ は 何一つしるしを 行なわなかったけれども， 彼がこの 方について 話したことはみな 眞實であった． 」と 言った．

- If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
- But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
- Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,
- And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
- And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
