열왕기상 11:1-11:43

 왕국의 번영이 절정에 이르렀을 때, 솔로몬이 하나님의 계명을 어기고 이방 여인과 통혼하여 그들의 유혹에 빠져 우상을 숭배하는 죄를 범하자 그를 대적하는 무리들이 일어났다. 하나님께서는 선지자 아히야를 통하여 나라를 솔로몬의 손에서 빼앗아 여로보암에게 나누어 주시겠다고 예언하셨다.
  
  솔로몬의 타락(11:1-11:25)    
 
  1. ソロモン 王は， パロ の 娘のほかに 多くの 外國の 女， すなわち モアブ 人の 女， アモン 人の 女， エドム 人の 女， シドン 人の 女， ヘテ 人の 女を 愛した．
  2. この 女たちは， 主がかつて イスラエル 人に， 「あなたがたは 彼らの 中にはいって 行ってはならない． 彼らをもあなたがたの 中に 入れてはならない． さもないと， 彼らは 必ずあなたがたの 心を 轉じて 彼らの 神¿に 從わせる． 」と 言われたその 國¿の 者であった． それなのに， ソロモン は 彼女たちを 愛して， 離れなかった．
  3. 彼には 七百人の 王妃としての 妻と， 三百人のそばめがあった． その 妻たちが 彼の 心を 轉じた．
  4. ソロモン が 年をとったとき， その 妻たちが 彼の 心をほかの 神¿のほうへ 向けたので， 彼の 心は， 父 ダビデ の 心とは 違って， 彼の 神， 主と 全く 一つにはなっていなかった．
  5. ソロモン は シドン 人の 神 アシュタロテ と， アモン 人のあの 忌むべき ミルコム に 從った．
  1. But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites:
  2. Of the nations concerning which the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.
  3. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines: and his wives turned away his heart.
  4. For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
  5. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
  1. こうして ソロモン は， 主の 目の 前に 惡を 行ない， 父 ダビデ のようには， 主に 從い 通さなかった．
  2. 當時， ソロモン は， モアブ の， 忌むべき ケモシュ と， アモン 人の， 忌むべき モレク のために， エルサレム の 東にある 山の 上に 高き 所を 築いた．
  3. 彼は 外國人の 自分のすべての 妻のためにも， 同じようなことをしたので， 彼女たちは 自分たちの 神¿に 香をたき， いけにえをささげた．
  4. 主は ソロモン に 怒りを 發せられた． それは 彼の 心が イスラエル の 神， 主から 移り 變わったからである． 主は 二度も 彼に 現われ，
  5. このことについて， ほかの 神¿に 從って 行ってはならないと 命じておられたのに， 彼は 主の 命令を 守らなかったからである．
  1. And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.
  2. Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that is before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.
  3. And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.
  4. And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
  5. And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.
  1. それゆえ， 主は ソロモン に 仰せられた． 「あなたがこのようにふるまい， わたしが 命じたわたしの 契約とおきてとを 守らなかったので， わたしは 王國をあなたから 必ず 引き 裂いて， あなたの 家來に 與える．
  2. しかし， あなたの 父 ダビデ に 免じて， あなたの 存命中は， そうしないが， あなたの 子の 手からそれを 引き 裂こう．
  3. ただし， 王國全部を 引き 裂くのではなく， わたしのしもべ ダビデ と， わたしが 選んだ エルサレム のために， 一つの 部族だけをあなたの 子に 與えよう． 」
  4. こうして， 主は， ソロモン に 敵對する 者として エドム 人の ハダデ を 起こされた． 彼は エドム の 王の 子孫であった．
  5. ダビデ がかつて エドム にいたころ， 將軍 ヨアブ が 戰士者を 葬りに 上って 來て， エドム の 男子をみな 打ち 殺したことがあった．
  1. Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.
  2. Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
  3. Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
  4. And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king's seed in Edom.
  5. For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;
  1. ·· ヨアブ は 全 イスラエル とともに 六か 月の 間， そこにとどまり， エドム の 男子をみな 斷ち 滅ぼした． ··
  2. しかしそのとき， ハダデ は， 彼の 父のしもべの 數人の エドム 人と 逃げ 去って エジプト へ 行った． 當時， ハダデ は 少年であった．
  3. 彼らは ミデヤン を 出立し， パラン に 行き， パラン から 幾人かの 從者を 從えて エジプト へ 行き， エジプト の 王 パロ のところに 行った． すると パロ は 彼に 家を 與え， 食料をあてがい， さらに， 土地をも 與えた．
  4. ハダデ は パロ にことのほか 愛された． パロ は 自分の 妻の 妹， すなわち 王妃 タフペネス の 妹を 彼に 妻として 與えた．
  5. タフペネス の 妹は 彼に 男の 子 ゲヌバテ を 産んだ． タフペネス はその 子を パロ の 宮殿で 育てた． ゲヌバテ は パロ の 宮殿で パロ の 子どもたちといっしょにいた．
  1. (For six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom:)
  2. That Hadad fled, he and certain Edomites of his father's servants with him, to go into Egypt; Hadad being yet a little child.
  3. And they arose out of Midian, and came to Paran: and they took men with them out of Paran, and they came to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt; which gave him an house, and appointed him victuals, and gave him land.
  4. And Hadad found great favour in the sight of Pharaoh, so that he gave him to wife the sister of his own wife, the sister of Tahpenes the queen.
  5. And the sister of Tahpenes bare him Genubath his son, whom Tahpenes weaned in Pharaoh's house: and Genubath was in Pharaoh's household among the sons of Pharaoh.
  1. さて ハダデ は， ダビデ が 彼の 先祖たちとともに 眠ったこと， また， 將軍 ヨアブ も 死んだことを， エジプト で 聞いた． ハダデ が パロ に， 「私を 國へ 歸らせてください． 」と 言うと，
  2. パロ は 彼に 言った． 「あなたは， 私に 何か 不滿があるのか． 自分の 國へ 歸ることを 求めるとは． 」すると， 答えた． 「違います． ただ， とにかく， 私を 歸らせてください． 」
  3. 神はまた， ソロモン に 敵對する 者として， エリヤダ の 子 レゾン を 起こされた． 彼は， 自分の 主人， ツォバ の 王 ハダデエゼル のもとから 逃亡した 者であった．

  1. And when Hadad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the captain of the host was dead, Hadad said to Pharaoh, Let me depart, that I may go to mine own country.
  2. Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.
  3. And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:
  4. And he gathered men unto him, and became captain over a band, when David slew them of Zobah: and they went to Damascus, and dwelt therein, and reigned in Damascus.
  5. And he was an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, beside the mischief that Hadad did: and he abhorred Israel, and reigned over Syria.
 
  여로보암의 대적(11:26-11:43)    
 
  1. ツェレダ の 出の エフライム 人 ネバテ の 子 ヤロブアム は ソロモン の 家來であった． 彼の 母の 名は ツェルア といい， やもめであった． ところが 彼も 王に 反逆した．
  2. 彼が 王に 反逆するようになった 事情はこうである． ソロモン は ミロ を 建て， 彼の 父 ダビデ の 町の 破れ 口をふさいでいた．
  3. ヤロブアム は 手腕家であった． ソロモン はこの 若者の ¿きぶりを 見て， ヨセフ の 家のすべての 役務を 管理させた．
  4. そのころ， ヤロブアム が エルサレム から 出て 來ると， シロ 人で 預言者である アヒヤ が 道で 彼に 會った． アヒヤ は 新しい 外套を 着ていた． そして 彼らふたりだけが 野原にいた．
  5. アヒヤ は 着ていた 新しい 外套をつかみ， それを 十二切れに 引き 裂き，
  1. And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow woman, even he lifted up his hand against the king.
  2. And this was the cause that he lifted up his hand against the king: Solomon built Millo, and repaired the breaches of the city of David his father.
  3. And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph.
  4. And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field:
  5. And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces:
  1. ヤロブアム に 言った． 「十切れを 取りなさい． イスラエル の 神， 主は， こう 仰せられます． 『見よ． わたしは ソロモン の 手から 王國を 引き 裂き， 十部族をあなたに 與える．
  2. しかし， 彼には 一つの 部族だけが 殘る． それは， わたしのしもべ ダビデ と， わたしが イスラエル の 全部族の 中から 選んだ 町， エルサレム に 免じてのことである．
  3. というのは， 彼がわたしを 捨て， シドン 人の 神 アシュタロテ や， モアブ の 神 ケモシュ や， アモン 人の 神 ミルコム を 拜み， 彼の 父 ダビデ のようには， 彼は， わたしの 見る 目にかなうことを 行なわず， わたしのおきてと 定めを 守らず， わたしの 道を 步まなかったからである．
  4. しかし， わたしは， 彼の 手から， 王國全部は 取り 上げない． わたしが 選び， わたしの 命令とおきてとを 守ったわたしのしもべ ダビデ に 免じて， ソロモン が 生きている 間は， 彼を 君主としておこう．
  5. しかし， わたしは 彼の 子の 手から 王位を 取り 上げ， 十部族をあなたに 與える．
  1. And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
  2. (But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
  3. Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.
  4. Howbeit I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand: but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my commandments and my statutes:
  5. But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
  1. 彼の 子には 一つの 部族を 與える． それはわたしの 名を 置くために 選んだ 町， エルサレム で， わたしのしもべ ダビデ がわたしの 前にいつも 一つのともしびを 保つためである．
  2. わたしがあなたを 召したなら， あなたは 自分の 望むとおりに 王となり， イスラエル を 治める 王とならなければならない．
  3. もし， わたしが 命じるすべてのことにあなたが 聞き 從い， わたしの 道に 步み， わたしのしもべ ダビデ が 行なったように， わたしのおきてと 命令とを 守って， わたしの 見る 目にかなうことを 行なうなら， わたしはあなたとともにおり， わたしが ダビデ のために 建てたように， 長く 續く 家をあなたのために 建て， イスラエル をあなたに 與えよう．
  4. このために， わたしは ダビデ の 子孫を 苦しめる． しかし， それを 永久に 續けはしない． 』」
  5. ソロモン は ヤロブアム を 殺そうとしたが， ヤロブアム は 立ち 去り， エジプト にのがれ， エジプト の 王 シシャク のもとに 行き， ソロモン が 死ぬまで エジプト にいた．
  1. And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.
  2. And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.
  3. And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.
  4. And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.
  5. Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
  1. ソロモン のその 他の 業績， 彼の 行なったすべての 事， および 彼の 知惠， それは ソロモン の 業績の 書にしるされているではないか．
  2. ソロモン が エルサレム で 全 イスラエル の 王であった 期間は 四十年であった．
  3. ソロモン は 彼の 先祖たちとともに 眠り， 彼の 父 ダビデ の 町に 葬られた． 彼の 子 レハブアム が 代わって 王となった．
  1. And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?
  2. And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years.
  3. And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his stead.
