열왕기상 22:1-22:53

 극악한 왕 아합은 미가야의 패전과 죽음에 대한 예언에도 불구하고 400여 명의 거짓 선지자들의 말에 따라 여호사밧 왕과 동맹하여 길르앗 라못 탈환에 나섰다. 결국 예언대로 아합은 전쟁에 패했고 하나님의 심판으로 비참한 최후를 맞았다.
  
  아합의 마지막 전투(22:1-22:40)    
 
  1. アラム と イスラエル との 間には 戰いがないまま 三年が 過ぎた．
  2. しかし， 三年目になって， ユダ の 王 ヨシャパテ が イスラエル の 王のところに 下って 來ると，
  3. イスラエル の 王は 自分の 家來たちに 言った． 「あなたがたは， ラモテ · ギルアデ が 私たちのものであることを 知っているではないか． それなのに， 私たちはためらっていて， それを アラム の 王の 手から 奪い 返していない． 」
  4. それから， 彼は ヨシャパテ に 言った． 「私といっしょに ラモテ · ギルアデ に 戰いに 行ってくれませんか． 」 ヨシャパテ は イスラエル の 王に 言った． 「私とあなたとは 同じようなもの， 私の 民とあなたの 民， 私の 馬とあなたの 馬も 同じようなものです． 」
  5. ヨシャパテ は， イスラエル の 王に 言った． 「まず， 主のことばを 伺ってみてください． 」
  1. And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.
  2. And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.
  3. And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?
  4. And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.
  5. And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
  1. そこで， イスラエル の 王は 約四百人の 預言者を 召し 集めて， 彼らに 尋ねた． 「私は ラモテ · ギルアデ に 戰いに 行くべきだろうか． それとも， やめるべきだろうか． 」彼らは 答えた． 「上って 行きなさい． そうすれば， 主は 王の 手にこれを 渡されます． 」
  2. ところが， ヨシャパテ は， 「ここには， 私たちがみこころを 求めることのできる 主の 預言者がほかにいないのですか． 」と 言った．
  3. イスラエル の 王は ヨシャパテ に 答えた． 「いや， ほかにもうひとり， 私たちが 主のみこころを 求めることのできる 者がいます． しかし， 私は 彼を 憎んでいます． 彼は 私について 良いことは 預言せず， 惡いことばかりを 預言するからです． それは， イムラ の 子 ミカヤ です． 」すると， ヨシャパテ は 言った． 「王よ． そういうふうには 言わないでください． 」
  4. そこで， イスラエル の 王はひとりの 宦官を 呼び 寄せ， 「急いで， イムラ の 子 ミカヤ を 呼んで 來なさい． 」と 命じた．
  5. イスラエル の 王と， ユダ の 王 ヨシャパテ は， おのおの 王服を 着て， サマリヤ の 門の 入口にある 打ち 場の 王の 座に 着き， 預言者はみな， ふたりの 前で 預言していた．
  1. Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
  2. And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?
  3. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
  4. Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.
  5. And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.
  1. そのとき， ケナアナ の 子 ゼデキヤ は， 王のために 鐵の 角を 作って 言った． 「主はこう 仰せられます． 『これらの 角で， あなたは アラム を 突いて， 絶滅させなければならない． 』」
  2. ほかの 預言者たちもみな， 同じように 預言して 言った． 「ラモテ · ギルアデ に 攻め 上って 勝利を 得なさい． 主は 王の 手にこれを 渡されます． 」
  3. さて， ミカヤ を 呼びに 行った 使いの 者は ミカヤ に 告げて 言った． 「いいですか． お 願いです． 預言者たちは 口をそろえて， 王に 對し 良いことを 述べています． お 願いですから， あなたもみなと 全く 同じように 語り， 良いことを 述べてください． 」
  4. すると， ミカヤ は 答えた． 「主は 生きておられる． 主が 私に 告げられることを， そのまま 述べよう． 」
  5. 彼が 王のもとに 着くと， 王は 彼に 言った． 「ミカヤ ． 私たちは ラモテ · ギルアデ に 戰いに 行くべきだろうか． それとも， やめるべきだろうか． 」すると， 彼は 王に 答えた． 「攻め 上って 勝利を 得なさい． 主は 王の 手にこれを 渡されます． 」
  1. And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.
  2. And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.
  3. And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.
  4. And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.
  5. So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.
  1. すると， 王は 彼に 言った． 「いったい， 私が 何度あなたに 誓わせたら， あなたは 主の 名によって 眞實だけを 私に 告げるようになるのか． 」
  2. 彼は 答えた． 「私は 全 イスラエル が， 山¿に 散らされているのを 見た． まるで， 飼い 主のいない 羊の 群れのように． そのとき， 主は 仰せられた． 『彼らには 主人がいない． 彼らをおのおのその 家に 無事に 歸さなければならない． 』」
  3. イスラエル の 王は ヨシャパテ に 言った． 「彼は 私について 良いことを 預言せず， 惡いことばかりを 預言すると， あなたに 言っておいたではありませんか． 」
  4. すると， ミカヤ は 言った． 「それゆえ 主のことばを 聞きなさい． 私は 主が 御座にすわり， 天の 万軍がその 右左に 立っているのを 見ました．
  5. そのとき， 主は 仰せられました． 『だれか， アハブ を 惑わして， 攻め 上らせ， ラモテ · ギルアデ で 倒れさせる 者はいないか． 』すると， あれこれと 答えがありました．
  1. And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?
  2. And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
  3. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?
  4. And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
  5. And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
  1. それからひとりの 靈が 進み 出て， 主の 前に 立ち， 『この 私が 彼を 惑わします． 』と 言いますと， 主が 彼に『どういうふうにやるのか． 』と 尋ねられました．
  2. 彼は 答えました． 『私が 出て 行き， 彼のすべての 預言者の 口で 僞りを 言う 靈となります． 』すると， 『あなたはきっと 惑わすことができよう． 出て 行って， そのとおりにせよ． 』と 仰せられました．
  3. 今， ご 覽のとおり， 主はここにいるあなたのすべての 預言者の 口に 僞りを 言う 靈を 授けられました． 主はあなたに 下るわざわいを 告げられたのです． 」
  4. すると， ケナアナ の 子 ゼデキヤ が 近寄って 來て， ミカヤ の 頰をなぐりつけて 言った． 「どのようにして， 主の 靈が 私を 離れて 行き， おまえに 語ったというのか． 」
  5. ミカヤ は 答えた． 「いまに， あなたが 奧の 間にはいって 身を 隱すときに， 思い 知るであろう． 」
  1. And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
  2. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persude him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
  3. Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
  4. But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?
  5. And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.
  1. すると， イスラエル の 王は 言った． 「ミカヤ を 連れて 行け． 町のつかさ アモン と 王の 子 ヨアシュ のもとに 下がらせよ．
  2. 王が『この 男を 獄屋に 入れ， 私が 無事に 歸って 來るまで， わずかな パン と， わずかな 水をあてがっておけ． 』と 命じたと 言え． 」
  3. ミカヤ は 言った． 「万が 一， あなたが 無事に 戾って 來られることがあるなら， 主は 私によって 語られなかったのです． 」そして， 「みなの 人¿よ． 聞いておきなさい． 」と 言った．
  4. こうして， イスラエル の 王と ユダ の 王 ヨシャパテ は， ラモテ · ギルアデ に 攻め 上った．
  5. そのとき， イスラエル の 王は ヨシャパテ に 言った． 「私は 變裝して 戰いに 行こう． でも， あなたは， 自分の 王服を 着ていてください． 」こうして， イスラエル の 王は 變裝して 戰いに 行った．
  1. And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;
  2. And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.
  3. And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.
  4. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.
  5. And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.
  1. アラム の 王は， 自分の 配下の 戰車隊長たち 三十二人に 命じて 言った． 「兵や 將校とは 戰うな． ただ イスラエル の 王を 目ざして 戰え． 」
  2. 戰車隊長たちは ヨシャパテ を 見つけたとき， 「確かにあれは イスラエル の 王に 違いない． 」と 思ったので， 彼のほうに 向かって 行って 戰おうとした． すると， ヨシャパテ は 助けを 叫び 求めた．
  3. それで， 戰車隊長たちは， 彼が イスラエル の 王ではないことを 知ったとき， 彼を 追うことをやめ， 引き 返した．
  4. ところが， ひとりの 兵士が 何げなく 弓を 放つと， イスラエル の 王の 胸當てと 草摺の 間を 射拔いた． そこで， 王は 自分の 戰車の 御者に 言った． 「手綱を 返して， 私を 敵陣から 拔け 出させてくれ． 傷を 負ってしまった． 」
  5. その 日， 戰いはますます 激しくなった． 王は アラム に 向かって， 戰車の 中に 立っていたが， 夕方になって 死んだ． 傷から 出た 血は 戰車のくぼみに 流れた．
  1. But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.
  2. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.
  3. And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.
  4. And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
  5. And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.
  1. 日¿のころ， 陣營の 中に， 「めいめい 自分の 町， 自分の 國へ 歸れ． 」という 叫び 聲が 傳わった．
  2. 王は 死んでから サマリヤ に 着いた． 人¿は サマリヤ で 王を 葬った．
  3. それから， 戰車を サマリヤ の 池で 洗った． すると， 犬が 彼の 血をなめ， 遊女たちがそこで 身を 洗った． 主が 語られたことばのとおりであった．
  4. アハブ のその 他の 業績， 彼の 行なったすべての 事， 彼が 建てた 象牙の 家，， 彼が 建てたすべての 町¿， それは イスラエル の 王たちの 年代記の 書にしるされているではないか．
  5. アハブ は 彼の 先祖たちとともに 眠り， その 子 アハズヤ が 代わって 王となった．
  1. And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.
  2. So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.
  3. And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.
  4. Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
  5. So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.
 
  여호사밧과 아하시야의 통치(22:41-22:53)    
 
  1. アサ の 子 ヨシャパテ が ユダ の 王となったのは， イスラエル の 王 アハブ の 第四年であった．
  2. ヨシャパテ は 三十五歲で 王となり， エルサレム で 二十五年間， 王であった． その 母の 名は アズバ といい， シルヒ の 娘であった．
  3. 彼はその 父 アサ のすべての 道に 步み， その 道からそれることなく， 主の 目にかなうことを 行なった． しかし， 高き 所は 取り 除かなかった． 民はなおも， その 高き 所でいけにえをささげたり， 香をたいたりしていた．
  4. ヨシャパテ は イスラエル の 王と 友好關係を 保っていた．
  5. ヨシャパテ のその 他の 業績， 彼の 立てた 功績とその 戰績， それは ユダ の 王たちの 年代記の 書にしるされているではないか．
  1. And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.
  2. Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
  3. And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.
  4. And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.
  5. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
  1. 彼は， 父 アサ の 時代にまだ 殘っていた 神殿男娼をこの 國から 除き 去った．
  2. そのころ， エドム には 王がなく， 守護が 王であった．
  3. ヨシャパテ は タルシシュ の 船團をつくり， 金を 得るために オフィル へ 行こうとしたが， 行けなかった． 船團が エツヨン · ゲベル で 難破したからである．
  4. そのとき， アハブ の 子 アハズヤ は ヨシャパテ に， 「私の 家來をあなたの 家來といっしょに 船で 行かせましょう． 」と 言ったが， ヨシャパテ は 承知しなかった．
  5. ヨシャパテ は 彼の 先祖たちとともに 眠り， 先祖たちとともに 父 ダビデ の 町に 葬られた． その 子 ヨラム が 代わって 王となった．
  1. And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.
  2. There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king.
  3. Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.
  4. Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.
  5. And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.
  1. アハブ の 子 アハズヤ は， ユダ の 王 ヨシャパテ の 第十七年に サマリヤ で イスラエル の 王となり， 二年間， イスラエル の 王であった．
  2. 彼は 主の 目の 前に 惡を 行ない， 彼の 父の 道と 彼の 母の 道， それに， イスラエル に 罪を 犯させた ネバテ の 子 ヤロブアム の 道に 步んだ．
  3. すなわち， 彼は バアル に 仕え， それを 拜み， 彼の 父が 行なったと 全く 同じように 行なって， イスラエル の 神， 主の 怒りを 引き 起こした．
  1. Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.
  2. And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:
  3. For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.
