- ああ 愚かな ガラテヤ 人． 十字架につけられた イエス · キリスト が， あなたがたの 目の 前に， あんなにはっきり 示されたのに， だれがあなたがたを 迷わせたのですか．
- ただこれだけをあなたがたから 聞いておきたい． あなたがたが 御靈を 受けたのは， 律法を 行なったからですか． それとも 信仰をもって 聞いたからですか．
- あなたがたはどこまで 道理がわからないのですか． 御靈で 始まったあなたがたが， いま 肉によって 完成されるというのですか．
- あなたがたがあれほどのことを 經驗したのは， むだだったのでしょうか． 万が 一にもそんなことはないでしょうが．
- とすれば， あなたがたに 御靈を 與え， あなたがたの 間で 奇蹟を 行なわれた 方は， あなたがたが 律法を 行なったから， そうなさったのですか． それともあなたがたが 信仰をもって 聞いたからですか．

- O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?
- This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
- Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
- Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
- He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

- アブラハム は 神を 信じ， それが 彼の 義とみなされました． それと 同じことです．
- ですから， 信仰による 人¿こそ アブラハム の 子孫だと 知りなさい．
- 聖書は， 神が 異邦人をその 信仰によって 義と 認めてくださることを， 前から 知っていたので， アブラハム に 對し， 「あなたによってすべての 國民が 祝福される． 」と 前もって 福音を 告げたのです．
- そういうわけで， 信仰による 人¿が， 信仰の 人 アブラハム とともに， 祝福を 受けるのです．
- というのは， 律法の 行ないによる 人¿はすべて， のろいのもとにあるからです． こう 書いてあります． 「律法の 書に 書いてある， すべてのことを 堅く 守って 實行しなければ， だれでもみな， のろわれる． 」

- Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
- Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
- And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
- So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
- For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

- ところが， 律法によって 神の 前に 義と 認められる 者が， だれもいないということは 明らかです． 「義人は 信仰によって 生きる． 」のだからです．
- しかし 律法は， 「信仰による． 」のではありません． 「律法を 行なう 者はこの 律法によって 生きる． 」のです．
- キリスト は， 私たちのためにのろわれたものとなって， 私たちを 律法ののろいから ·い 出してくださいました． なぜなら， 「木にかけられる 者はすべてのろわれたものである． 」と 書いてあるからです．
- このことは， アブラハム への 祝福が， キリスト · イエス によって 異邦人に 及ぶためであり， その 結果， 私たちが 信仰によって 約束の 御靈を 受けるためなのです．

- But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
- And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
- Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
- That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
