- こういうわけで， もしあなたがたが， キリスト とともによみがえらされたのなら， 上にあるものを 求めなさい． そこには キリスト が， 神の 右に 座を 占めておられます．
- あなたがたは， 地上のものを 思わず， 天にあるものを 思いなさい．
- あなたがたはすでに 死んでおり， あなたがたのいのちは， キリスト とともに， 神のうちに 隱されてあるからです．
- 私たちのいのちである キリスト が 現われると， そのときあなたがたも， キリスト とともに， 榮光のうちに 現われます．
- ですから， 地上のからだの 諸部分， すなわち， 不品行， 汚れ， 情欲， 惡い 欲， そしてむさぼりを 殺してしまいなさい． このむさぼりが， そのまま 偶像禮拜なのです．

- If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
- Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
- When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
- Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

- このようなことのために， 神の 怒りが 下るのです．
- あなたがたも， 以前， そのようなものの 中に 生きていたときは， そのような 步み 方をしていました．
- しかし 今は， あなたがたも， すべてこれらのこと， すなわち， 怒り， 憤り， 惡意， そしり， あなたがたの 口から 出る 恥ずべきことばを， 捨ててしまいなさい．
- 互いに 僞りを 言ってはいけません． あなたがたは， 古い 人をその 行ないといっしょに 脫ぎ 捨てて，
- 新しい 人を 着たのです． 新しい 人は， 造り 主のかたちに 似せられてますます 新しくされ， 眞の 知識に 至るのです．

- For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
- In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.
- But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
- And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

- そこには， ギリシヤ 人と ユダヤ 人， 割禮の 有無， 未開人， スクテヤ 人， 奴隷と 自由人というような 區別はありません． キリスト がすべてであり， すべてのうちにおられるのです．
- それゆえ， 神に 選ばれた 者， 聖なる， 愛されている 者として， あなたがたは 深い 同情心， 慈愛， 謙遜， 柔和， 寬容を 身に 着けなさい．
- 互いに 忍び 合い， だれかがほかの 人に 不滿を 抱くことがあっても， 互いに 赦し 合いなさい． 主があなたがたを 赦してくださったように， あなたがたもそうしなさい．
- そして， これらすべての 上に， 愛を 着けなさい． 愛は 結びの 帶として 完全なものです．
- キリスト の 平和が， あなたがたの 心を 支配するようにしなさい． そのためにこそあなたがたも 召されて 一體となったのです． また， 感謝の 心を 持つ 人になりなさい．

- Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
- Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
- And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

- キリスト のことばを， あなたがたのうちに 豊かに 住まわせ， 知惠を 盡くして 互いに 敎え， 互いに 戒め， 詩と 贊美と 靈の 歌とにより， 感謝にあふれて 心から 神に 向かって 歌いなさい．
- あなたがたのすることは， ことばによると 行ないによるとを 問わず， すべて 主 イエス の 名によってなし， 主によって 父なる 神に 感謝しなさい．

- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
- And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
