아모스 4:1-6:14

 아모스는 바산의 암소들로 비유되는 북이스라엘의 상류층 사람들에 대한 심판을 선포한 후, 여러 재앙을 당해도 도무지 회개하지 않고 형식적으로만 하나님을 섬기는 북이스라엘의 전 국민에게 심판을 선포하였다. 그는 북이스라엘의 멸망에 대한 애가를 불렀으며, 피할 수 없는 야웨의 날의 심판을 알렸다.
  
  북이스라엘의 심판(4:1-6:14)    
 
  1. 聞け． このことばを． サマリヤ の 山にいる バシャン の 雌牛ども． 彼女らは 弱い 者たちをしいたげ， 貧しい 者たちを 迫害し， 自分の 主人たちに， 「何か 持って 來て， 飮ませよ． 」と 言う．
  2. 神である 主は， ご 自分の 聖にかけて 誓われた． 見よ． その 日があなたがたの 上にやって 來る． その 日， 彼らはあなたがたを 釣り 針にかけ， あなたがたを 最後のひとりまで， もりにかけて 引いて 行く．

  1. Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
  2. The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.
  3. And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.
  4. Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:
  5. And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.
  1. わたしもまた， あなたがたのあらゆる 町で， あなたがたの 齒をきれいにしておき， あなたがたのすべての 場所で， パン に 欠乏させた． それでも， あなたがたはわたしのもとに 歸って 來なかった． ··主の 御告げ． ··

  1. And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
  2. And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.
  3. So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
  4. I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
  5. I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
  1. わたしは， あなたがたをくつがえした． 神が ソドム と ゴモラ をくつがえしたように． あなたがたは 炎の 中から 取り 出された 燃えさしのようであった． それでも， あなたがたはわたしのもとに 歸って 來なかった． ··主の 御告げ． ··
  2. それゆえ， イスラエル よ， わたしはあなたにこうしよう． わたしはあなたにこのことをするから， イスラエル ， あなたはあなたの 神に 會う 備えをせよ．

  1. I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
  2. Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.
  3. For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
 
 
  1. イスラエル の 家よ． 聞け． 私があなたがたについて 哀歌を 唱えるこのことばを．
  2. 「おとめ イスラエル は 倒れて， 二度と 起き 上がれない． 彼女はおのれの 地に 投げ 倒されて， これを 起こしてくれる 者もいない． 」
  3. まことに， 神である 主はこう 仰せられる． 「イスラエル の 家で， 千人を 出征させていた 町には 百人が 殘り， 百人を 出征させていた 町には 十人が 殘ろう． 」
  4. まことに 主は， イスラエル の 家にこう 仰せられる． 「わたしを 求めて 生きよ．
  5. ベテル を 求めるな． ギルガル に 行くな． ベエル · シェバ におもむくな． ギルガル は 必ず 捕え 移され， ベテル は 無に 歸するからだ． 」
  1. Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
  2. The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
  3. For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
  4. For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
  5. But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
  1. 主を 求めて 生きよ． さもないと， 主は 火のように， ヨセフ の 家に 激しく 下り， これを 燒き 盡くし， ベテル のためにこれを 消す 者がいなくなる．
  2. 彼らは 公義を 苦よもぎに 變え， 正義を 地に 投げ 捨てている．
  3. すばる 座や オリオン 座を 造り， 暗黑を 朝に 變え， ¿を 暗い 夜にし， 海の 水を 呼んで， それを 地の 面に 注ぐ 方， その 名は 主．
  4. 主は 强い 者を 踏みにじり， 要塞を 破壞する．

  1. Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
  2. Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
  3. Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
  4. That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
  5. They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
  1. あなたがたは 貧しい 者を 踏みつけ， 彼から 小作料を 取り 立てている． それゆえあなたがたは， 切り 石の 家¿を 建てても， その 中に 住めない． 美しいぶどう 畑を 作っても， その 酒を 飮めない．
  2. 私は， あなたがたのそむきの 罪がいかに 多く， あなたがたの 罪がいかに 重いかを 知っている． あなたがたは 正しい 者をきらい， まいないを 取り， 門で 貧しい 者を 押しのける．
  3. それゆえ， このようなときには， 賢い 者は 沈默を 守る． それは 時代が 惡いからだ．
  4. 善を 求めよ． 惡を 求めるな． そうすれば， あなたがたは 生き， あなたがたが 言うように， 万軍の 神， 主が， あなたがたとともにおられよう．
  5. 惡を 憎み， 善を 愛し， 門で 正しいさばきをせよ． 万軍の 神， 主は， もしや， ヨセフ の 殘りの 者をあわれまれるかもしれない．
  1. Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
  2. For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
  3. Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
  4. Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
  5. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
  1. それゆえ， 主なる 万軍の 神， 主は， こう 仰せられる． 「すべての 廣場に 嘆きが 起こり， すべての 通りで， 人¿は『ああ， ああ． 』と 言い， 農夫を 呼んで 來て 泣かせ， 泣き 方を 知っている 者たちを 呼んで 來て， 嘆かせる．
  2. すべてのぶどう 畑に 嘆きが 起こる． それは， わたしがあなたがたの 中を， 通り 過ぎるからだ． 」と 主は 仰せられる．
  3. ああ． 主の 日を 待ち 望む 者． 主の 日はあなたがたにとっていったい 何になる． それはやみであって， 光ではない．
  4. 人が 獅子の 前を 逃げても， 熊が 彼に 會い， 家にはいって 手を 壁につけると， 蛇が 彼にかみつくようなものである．
  5. ああ， まことに， 主の 日はやみであって， 光ではない． 暗やみであって， 輝きではない．
  1. Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.
  2. And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
  3. Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
  4. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
  5. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
  1. わたしはあなたがたの 祭りを 憎み， 退ける． あなたがたのきよめの 集會のときのかおりも， わたしは， かぎたくない．
  2. たとい， あなたがたが 全燒のいけにえや， 穀物のささげ 物をわたしにささげても， わたしはこれらを 喜ばない． あなたがたの 肥えた 家畜の 和解のいけにえにも， 目もくれない．
  3. あなたがたの 歌の ¿ぎを， わたしから 遠ざけよ． わたしはあなたがたの 琴の 音を 聞きたくない．
  4. 公義の 水のように， 正義をいつも 水の 流れる 川のように， 流れさせよ．
  5. 「イスラエル の 家よ． あなたがたは， 荒野にいた 四十年の 間に， ほふられた ¿とささげ 物とをわたしにささげたことがあったか．
  1. I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
  2. Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
  3. Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
  4. But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
  5. Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
  1. あなたがたはあなたがたの 王 サクテ と， あなたがたのために 造った 星の 神， キウン の 像をかついでいた．
  2. わたしはあなたがたを， ダマスコ のかなたへ 捕え 移す． 」とその 名を 万軍の 神， 主という 方が 仰せられる．
  1. But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
  2. Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.
 
 
  1. ああ． シオン で 安らかに 住んでいる 者， サマリヤ の 山に 信賴している 者， イスラエル の 家が 行って 仕える 國¿の 最高の 首長たち．
  2. カルネ に 渡って 行って 見よ． そこから 大 ハマテ に 行き， また ペリシテ 人の ガテ に 下って 行け． あなたがたはこれらの 王國よりすぐれているだろうか． あるいは， 彼らの 領土はあなたがたの 領土より 大きいだろうか．

  1. Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!
  2. Pass ye unto Calneh, and see; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border?
  3. Ye that put far away the evil day, and cause the seat of violence to come near;
  4. That lie upon beds of ivory, and stretch themselves upon their couches, and eat the lambs out of the flock, and the calves out of the midst of the stall;
  5. That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;
  1. 彼らは 鉢から 酒を 飮み， 最上の 香油を 身に 塗るが， ヨセフ の 破滅のことで 惱まない．
  2. それゆえ， 今， 彼らは， 最初の 捕われ 人として 引いて 行かれる． 身を 伸ばしている 者どもの 宴會は 取り 除かれる．
  3. 神である 主は， ご 自分にかけて 誓われる． ··万軍の 神， 主の 御告げ． ··わたしは ヤコブ の 誇りを 忌みきらい， その 宮殿を 憎む． わたしはこの 町と， その 中のすべての 者を 引き 渡す．

  1. That drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.
  2. Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.
  3. The Lord GOD hath sworn by himself, saith the LORD the God of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Jacob, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.
  4. And it shall come to pass, if there remain ten men in one house, that they shall die.
  5. And a man's uncle shall take him up, and he that burneth him, to bring out the bones out of the house, and shall say unto him that is by the sides of the house, Is there yet any with thee? and he shall say, No. Then shall he say, Hold thy tongue: for we may not make mention of the name of the LORD.
  1. まことに， 見よ， 主は 命じる． 大きな 家を 打ち ¿き， 小さな 家を 粉¿にせよ．
  2. 馬は 岩の 上を 走るだろうか． 人は 牛で 海を 耕すだろうか． あなたがたは， 公義を 毒に 變え， 正義の 實を 苦よもぎに 變えた．
  3. あなたがたは， ロ · ダバル を 喜び， 「私たちは 自分たちの 力で カルナイム を 取ったではないか． 」と 言う．

  1. For, behold, the LORD commandeth, and he will smite the great house with breaches, and the little house with clefts.
  2. Shall horses run upon the rock? will one plow there with oxen? for ye have turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock:
  3. Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?
  4. But, behold, I will raise up against you a nation, O house of Israel, saith the LORD the God of hosts; and they shall afflict you from the entering in of Hemath unto the river of the wilderness.
