- その 翌日， 湖の 向こう 岸にいた 群衆は， そこには 小舟が 一隻あっただけで， ほかにはなかったこと， また， その 舟に イエス は 弟子たちといっしょに 乘られないで， 弟子たちだけが 行ったということに 氣づいた．
- しかし， 主が 感謝をささげられてから， 人¿が パン を 食べた 場所の 近くに， テベリヤ から 數隻の 小舟が 來た．
- 群衆は， イエス がそこにおられず， 弟子たちもいないことを 知ると， 自分たちもその 小舟に 乘り ¿んで， イエス を 搜して カペナウム に 來た．
- そして 湖の 向こう 側で イエス を 見つけたとき， 彼らは イエス に 言った． 「先生． いつここにおいでになりましたか． 」
- イエス は 答えて 言われた． 「まことに， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． あなたがたがわたしを 搜しているのは， しるしを 見たからではなく， パン を 食べて 滿腹したからです．

- The next day the crowd that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other small boat there, except one, and that Jesus had not entered with His disciples into the boat, but that His disciples had gone away alone.
- There came other small boats from Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
- So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the small boats, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus.
- When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, "Rabbi, when did You get here?"
- Jesus answered them and said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled.

- なくなる 食物のためではなく， いつまでも 保ち， 永遠のいのちに 至る 食物のために ¿きなさい． それこそ， 人の 子があなたがたに 與えるものです． この 人の 子を 父すなわち 神が 認證されたからです． 」
- すると 彼らは イエス に 言った． 「私たちは， 神のわざを 行なうために， 何をすべきでしょうか． 」
- イエス は 答えて 言われた． 「あなたがたが， 神が 遣わした 者を 信じること， それが 神のわざです． 」
- そこで 彼らは イエス に 言った． 「それでは， 私たちが 見てあなたを 信じるために， しるしとして 何をしてくださいますか． どのようなことをなさいますか．
- 私たちの 先祖は， 荒野で マナ を 食べました． 『彼は 彼らに 天から パン を 與えて 食べさせた． 』と 書いてあるとおりです． 」

- "Do not work for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for on Him the Father, God, has set His seal."
- Therefore they said to Him, "What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?"
- Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."
- So they said to Him, "What then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform?
- "Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, 'HE GAVE THEM BREAD OUT OF HEAVEN TO EAT.'"

- イエス は 彼らに 言われた． 「まことに， まことに， あなたがたに 告げます． モ ― セ はあなたがたに 天からの パン を 與えたのではありません． しかし， わたしの 父は， あなたがたに 天からまことの パン をお 與えになります．
- というのは， 神の パン は， 天から 下って 來て， 世にいのちを 與えるものだからです． 」
- そこで 彼らは イエス に 言った． 「主よ． いつもその パン を 私たちにお 與えください． 」
- イエス は 言われた． 「わたしがいのちの パン です． わたしに 來る 者は 決して 飢えることがなく， わたしを 信じる 者はどんなときにも， 決して 渴くことがありません．
- しかし， あなたがたはわたしを 見ながら 信じようとしないと， わたしはあなたがたに 言いました．

- Jesus then said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven.
- "For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."
- Then they said to Him, "Lord, always give us this bread."
- Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.
- "But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe.

- 父がわたしにお 與えになる 者はみな， わたしのところに 來ます． そしてわたしのところに 來る 者を， わたしは 決して 捨てません．
- わたしが 天から 下って 來たのは， 自分のこころを 行なうためではなく， わたしを 遣わした 方のみこころを 行なうためです．
- わたしを 遣わした 方のみこころは， わたしに 與えてくださったすべての 者を， わたしがひとりも 失うことなく， ひとりひとりを 終わりの 日によみがえらせることです．
- 事實， わたしの 父のみこころは， 子を 見て 信じる 者がみな 永遠のいのちを 持つことです． わたしはその 人たちをひとりひとり 終わりの 日によみがえらせます． 」

- "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.
- "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
- "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.
- "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day."
