- 知惠のある 女は 自分の 家を 建て， 愚かな 女は 自分の 手でこれをこわす．
- まっすぐに 步む 者は， 主を 恐れ， 曲がって 步む 者は， 主をさげすむ．
- 愚か 者の 口には 誇りの 若枝がある． 知惠のある 者のくちびるは 身を 守る．
- 牛がいなければ 飼葉おけはきれいだ． しかし 牛の 力によって 收穫は 多くなる．
- 眞實な 證人はまやかしを 言わない． 僞りの 證人はまやかしを 吹聽する．

- The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands.
- He who walks in his uprightness fears the LORD, But he who is devious in his ways despises Him.
- In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for his back, But the lips of the wise will protect them.
- Where no oxen are, the manger is clean, But much revenue comes by the strength of the ox.
- A trustworthy witness will not lie, But a false witness utters lies.
