민수기 35:1-36:13

 하나님께서는 이스라엘 백성에게 그들의 기업 중 일부를 레위인에게 줄 것을 명하셨다. 레위인은 모두 48성읍을 받게 되었는데, 하나님께서는 그 중 6성읍을 도피성으로 정하여 과실로 살인한 자들이 피할 수 있게 하셨다. 슬로브핫 딸들은 하나님께서 제정하신 여성 상속법에 따라 자신과 같은 지파 남자와 결혼하여 기업을 지켰다.
  
  레위 지파의 성읍(35:1-35:34)    
 
  1. Now the LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying,
  2. "Command the sons of Israel that they give to the Levites from the inheritance of their possession cities to live in; and you shall give to the Levites pasture lands around the cities.
  3. "The cities shall be theirs to live in; and their pasture lands shall be for their cattle and for their herds and for all their beasts.
  4. "The pasture lands of the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall extend from the wall of the city outward a thousand cubits around.
  5. "You shall also measure outside the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits, with the city in the center. This shall become theirs as pasture lands for the cities.
  1. 여호와께서 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  2. 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 그들의 얻은 기업에서 레위인에게 거할 성읍들을 주게 하고 너희는 또 그 성읍 사면의 들을 레위인에게 주어서
  3. 성읍으로는 그들의 거처가 되게 하고 들로는 그들의 가축과 물산과 짐승들을 둘 곳이 되게 할 것이라
  4. 너희가 레위인에게 줄 성읍들의 들은 성벽에서부터 밖으로 사면 이천 규빗이라
  5. 성을 중앙에 두고 성 밖 동편으로 이천 규빗, 남편으로 이천 규빗, 서편으로 이천 규빗, 북편으로 이천 규빗을 측량할찌니 이는 그들의 성읍의 들이며
  1. "The cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the manslayer to flee to; and in addition to them you shall give forty-two cities.
  2. "All the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities, together with their pasture lands.
  3. "As for the cities which you shall give from the possession of the sons of Israel, you shall take more from the larger and you shall take less from the smaller; each shall give some of his cities to the Levites in proportion to his possession which he inherits."
  4. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  5. "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
  1. 너희가 레위인에게 줄 성읍은 살인자로 피케 할 도피성으로 여섯 성읍이요 그 외에 사십 이 성읍이라
  2. 너희가 레위인에게 모두 사십 팔 성읍을 주고 그 들도 함께 주되
  3. 이스라엘 자손의 산업에서 레위인에게 너희가 성읍을 줄 때에 많이 얻은 자에게서는 많이 취하여 주고 적게 얻은 자에게서는 적게 취하여 줄 것이라 각기 얻은 산업을 따라서 그 성읍들을 레위인에게 줄찌니라
  4. 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
  5. 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 요단을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어가거든
  1. then you shall select for yourselves cities to be your cities of refuge, that the manslayer who has killed any person unintentionally may flee there.
  2. 'The cities shall be to you as a refuge from the avenger, so that the manslayer will not die until he stands before the congregation for trial.
  3. 'The cities which you are to give shall be your six cities of refuge.
  4. 'You shall give three cities across the Jordan and three cities in the land of Canaan; they are to be cities of refuge.
  5. 'These six cities shall be for refuge for the sons of Israel, and for the alien and for the sojourner among them; that anyone who kills a person unintentionally may flee there.
  1. 너희를 위하여 성읍을 도피성으로 정하여 그릇 살인한 자로 그리로 피하게 하라
  2. 이는 너희가 보수할 자에게서 도피하는 성을 삼아 살인자가 회중 앞에 서서 판결을 받기까지 죽지 않게 하기 위함이니라
  3. 너희가 줄 성읍 중에 여섯으로 도피성이 되게 하되
  4. 세 성읍은 요단 이편에서 주고 세 성읍은 가나안 땅에서 주어 도피성이 되게 하라
  5. 이 여섯 성읍은 이스라엘 자손과 타국인과 이스라엘 중에 우거하는 자의 도피성이 되리니 무릇 그릇 살인한 자가 그리로 도피할 수 있으리라
  1. 'But if he struck him down with an iron object, so that he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.
  2. 'If he struck him down with a stone in the hand, by which he will die, and as a result he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.
  3. 'Or if he struck him with a wooden object in the hand, by which he might die, and as a result he died, he is a murderer; the murderer shall surely be put to death.
  4. 'The blood avenger himself shall put the murderer to death; he shall put him to death when he meets him.
  5. 'If he pushed him of hatred, or threw something at him lying in wait and as a result he died,
  1. 만일 철 연장으로 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이요
  2. 만일 사람을 죽일만한 돌을 손에 들고 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이요
  3. 만일 사람을 죽일만한 나무 연장을 손에 들고 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이니라
  4. 피를 보수하는 자가 그 고살자를 친히 죽일 것이니 그를 만나거든 죽일 것이요
  5. 만일 미워하는 까닭에 밀쳐 죽이거나 기회를 엿보아 무엇을 던져 죽이거나
  1. or if he struck him down with his hand in enmity, and as a result he died, the one who struck him shall surely be put to death, he is a murderer; the blood avenger shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
  2. 'But if he pushed him suddenly without enmity, or threw something at him without lying in wait,
  3. or with any deadly object of stone, and without seeing it dropped on him so that he died, while he was not his enemy nor seeking his injury,
  4. then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the blood avenger according to these ordinances.
  5. 'The congregation shall deliver the manslayer from the hand of the blood avenger, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge to which he fled; and he shall live in it until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil.
  1. 원한으로 인하여 손으로 쳐죽이면 그 친 자를 반드시 죽일 것이니 이는 고살하였음이라 피를 보수하는 자가 그 고살자를 만나거든 죽일 것이니라
  2. 원한 없이 우연히 사람을 밀치거나 기회를 엿봄이 없이 무엇을 던지거나
  3. 보지 못하고 사람을 죽일만한 돌을 던져서 죽였다 하자 이는 원한도 없고 해하려한 것도 아닌즉
  4. 회중이 친 자와 피를 보수하는 자 간에 이 규례대로 판결하여
  5. 피를 보수하는 자의 손에서 살인자를 건져내어 그가 피하였던 도피성으로 돌려 보낼 것이요 그는 거룩한 기름 부음을 받은 대제사장의 죽기까지 거기 거할 것이니라
  1. 'But if the manslayer at any time goes beyond the border of his city of refuge to which he may flee,
  2. and the blood avenger finds him outside the border of his city of refuge, and the blood avenger kills the manslayer, he will not be guilty of blood
  3. because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest the manslayer shall return to the land of his possession.
  4. 'These things shall be for a statutory ordinance to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
  5. 'If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death at the evidence of witnesses, but no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness.
  1. 그러나 살인자가 어느 때든지 그 피하였던 도피성 지경 밖에 나갔다 하자
  2. 피를 보수하는 자가 도피성 지경 밖에서 그 살인자를 만나 죽일찌라도 위하여 피 흘린 죄가 없나니
  3. 이는 살인자가 대제사장의 죽기까지 그 도피성에 유하였을 것임이라 대제사장의 죽은 후에는 그 살인자가 자기의 산업의 땅으로 돌아갈 수 있느니라
  4. 이는 너희 대대로 거하는 곳에서 판단하는 율례라
  5. 무릇 사람을 죽인 자 곧 고살자를 증인들의 말을 따라서 죽일 것이나 한 증인의 증거만 따라서 죽이지 말 것이요
  1. 'Moreover, you shall not take ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.
  2. 'You shall not take ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to live in the land before the death of the priest.
  3. 'So you shall not pollute the land in which you are; for blood pollutes the land and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.
  4. 'You shall not defile the land in which you live, in the midst of which I dwell; for I the LORD am dwelling in the midst of the sons of Israel.'"
  1. 살인죄를 범한 고살자의 생명의 속전을 받지 말고 반드시 죽일 것이며
  2. 또 도피성에 피한 자를 대제사장의 죽기 전에는 속전을 받고 그의 땅으로 돌아가 거하게 하지 말 것이니라
  3. 너희는 거하는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 피는 땅을 더럽히나니 피 흘림을 받은 땅은 이를 흘리게한 자의 피가 아니면 속할 수 없느니라
  4. 너희는 너희 거하는 땅 곧 나의 거하는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 나 여호와가 이스라엘 자손 중에 거함이니라
 
  슬로브핫 딸들의 기업(36:1-36:13)    
 
  1. And the heads of the fathers' households of the family of the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the leaders, the heads of the fathers' households of the sons of Israel,
  2. and they said, "The LORD commanded my lord to give the land by lot to the sons of Israel as an inheritance, and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
  3. "But if they marry one of the sons of the other tribes of the sons of Israel, their inheritance will be withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; thus it will be withdrawn from our allotted inheritance.
  4. "When the jubilee of the sons of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; so their inheritance will be withdrawn from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers."
  5. Then Moses commanded the sons of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, "The tribe of the sons of Joseph are right in their statements.
  1. 요셉 자손의 가족 중 므낫세의 손자 마길의 아들 길르앗 자손 가족의 두령들이 나아와 모세와 이스라엘 자손의 두령 된 족장들 앞에 말하여
  2. 가로되 여호와께서 우리 주에게 명하사 이스라엘 자손에게 그 기업의 땅을 제비 뽑아 주게 하셨고 여호와께서 또 우리 주에게 명하사 우리 형제 슬로브핫의 기업으로 그 딸들에게 주게 하셨은즉
  3. 그들이 만일 이스라엘 자손의 다른 지파 남자들에게 시집가면 그들의 기업은 우리 조상의 기업에서 감삭되고 그들의 속할 그 지파의 기업에 첨가되리니 그러면 우리 제비 뽑은 기업에서 감삭될 것이요
  4. 이스라엘 자손의 희년을 당하여 그 기업이 그가 속한 지파에 첨가될 것이라 그런즉 그들의 기업은 우리 조상 지파의 기업에서 아주 감삭되리이다
  5. 모세가 여호와의 말씀으로 이스라엘에게 명하여 가로되 요셉 자손 지파의 말이 옳도다
  1. "This is what the LORD has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, 'Let them marry whom they wish; only they must marry within the family of the tribe of their father.'
  2. "Thus no inheritance of the sons of Israel shall be transferred from tribe to tribe, for the sons of Israel shall each hold to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
  3. "Every daughter who comes into possession of an inheritance of any tribe of the sons of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel each may possess the inheritance of his fathers.
  4. "Thus no inheritance shall be transferred from one tribe to another tribe, for the tribes of the sons of Israel shall each hold to his own inheritance."
  5. Just as the LORD had commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad did:
  1. 슬로브핫의 딸들에게 대한 여호와의 명이 이러하니라 이르시되 슬로브핫의 딸들은 마음대로 시집가려니와 오직 그 조상 지파의 가족에게로만 시집갈찌니
  2. 그리하면 이스라엘 자손의 기업이 이 지파에서 저 지파로 옮기지 않고 이스라엘 자손이 다 각기 조상 지파의 기업을 지킬 것이니라 하셨나니
  3. 이스라엘 자손의 지파 중 무릇 그 기업을 이은 딸들은 자기 조상 지파 가족 되는 사람에게로 시집갈 것이라 그리하면 이스라엘 자손이 각기 조상의 기업을 보존하게 되어서
  4. 그 기업으로 이 지파에서 저 지파로 옮기게 하지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손 지파가 각각 자기 기업을 지키리라
  5. 슬로브핫의 딸들이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신대로 행하니라
  1. Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad married their uncles' sons.
  2. They married those from the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained with the tribe of the family of their father.
  3. These are the commandments and the ordinances which the LORD commanded to the sons of Israel through Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.
  1. 슬로브핫의 딸 말라와 디르사와 호글라와 밀가와 노아가 다 그 아비 형제의 아들들에게로 시집가되
  2. 그들이 요셉의 아들 므낫세 자손의 가족에게로 시집 간고로 그 기업이 그 아비 가족의 지파에 여전히 있었더라
  3. 이는 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 여호와께서 모세로 이스라엘 자손에게 명하신 명령과 규례니라
