민수기 26:1-26:65

 하나님의 명령에 따라, 가나안 땅에 들어가기에 앞서 모압 평지에서 두번째 인구 조사가 시행되었다.
  
  제2차 인구 조사(26:1-26:65)    
 
  1. Then it came about after the plague, that the LORD spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
  2. "Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers' households, whoever is able to go out to war in Israel."
  3. So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
  4. "Take a census of the people from twenty years old and upward, as the LORD has commanded Moses." Now the sons of Israel who came out of the land of Egypt were:
  5. Reuben, Israel's firstborn, the sons of Reuben: of Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
  1. 야훼께서 모세와 아론의 아들인 엘르아잘 사제에게 이르셨다.
  2. "이스라엘 백성 온 회중 가운데 스무 살이 넘어 군대에 나갈 수 있는 남자의 수효를 가문별로 세어라."
  3. 모세와 엘르아잘 사제는 예리고 가까이 요르단 강 가 모압 광야에서 그들의 수를 세었다.
  4. 야훼께서 모세에게 분부하신 대로 스무 살이 넘은 장정의 수를 세었다. 이집트 땅에서 나온 이스라엘 백성은 다음과 같다.
  5. 이스라엘의 맏아들은 르우벤인데, 르우벤의 후손은 다음과 같다. 하녹에게서 하녹 갈래가, 발루에게서 발루 갈래가,
  1. of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
  2. These are the families of the Reubenites, and those who were numbered of them were 43,730.
  3. The son of Pallu: Eliab.
  4. The sons of Eliab: Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram. These are the Dathan and Abiram who were called by the congregation, who contended against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they contended against the LORD,
  5. and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up along with Korah, when that company died, when the fire devoured 250 men, so that they became a warning.
  1. 헤스론에게서 헤스론 갈래가, 가르미에게서 가르미 갈래가 생겼다.
  2. 이상이 르우벤에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 사만 삼천칠백삼십 명이었다.
  3. 발루의 후손 가운데 엘리압이 있었고
  4. 엘리압에게는 느무엘, 다단, 아비람이라는 후손이 있었다. 이 다단과 아비람은 이스라엘 회중의 대표였는데, 이들이 바로 코라의 편이 되어 모세와 아론을 거역하고 야훼에게 대항하던 자들이다.
  5. 땅이 입을 벌려 코라를 삼켜버렸을 때 그 무리도 함께 죽었다. 그 때 이백오십 명이 불에 타죽어 본보기가 되었으나,
  1. The sons of Korah, however, did not die.
  2. The sons of Simeon according to their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites;
  3. of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
  4. These are the families of the Simeonites, 22,200.
  5. The sons of Gad according to their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
  1. 코라의 후손은 죽음을 면하였다.
  2. 시므온의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 느무엘에게서 느무엘 갈래가, 야민에게서 야민 갈래가, 야긴에게서 야긴 갈래가,
  3. 제라에게서 제라 갈래가, 사울에게서 사울 갈래가 생겼다.
  4. 이상이 시므온에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 이만 이천이백 명이었다.
  5. 가드의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 스본에게서 스본 갈래가, 하끼에게서 하끼 갈래가, 수니에게서 수니 갈래가,
  1. of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;
  2. of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
  3. These are the families of the sons of Gad according to those who were numbered of them, 40,500.
  4. The sons of Judah were Er and Onan, but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
  5. The sons of Judah according to their families were: of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites; of Perez, the family of the Perezites; of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.
  1. 오즈니에게서 오즈니 갈래가, 에리에게서 에리 갈래가,
  2. 아롯에게서 아롯 갈래가, 아르엘리에게서 아르엘리 갈래가 생겼다.
  3. 이상이 가드의 후손에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 사만 오백 명이었다.
  4. 유다의 아들, 에르와 오난은 가나안 땅에서 죽었다.
  5. 유다의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 셀라에게서 셀라 갈래가, 베레스에게서 베레스 갈래가, 제라에게서 제라 갈래가 생겼다.
  1. The sons of Perez were: of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
  2. These are the families of Judah according to those who were numbered of them, 76,500.
  3. The sons of Issachar according to their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;
  4. of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites; of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
  5. These are the families of Issachar according to those who were numbered of them, 64,300.
  1. 베레스의 후손은 다음과 같다. 헤스론에게서 헤스론 갈래가, 하물에게서 하물 갈래가 생겼다.
  2. 이상이 유다에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 칠만 육천오백 명이었다.
  3. 이싸갈의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 돌라에게서 돌라 갈래가, 부아에게서 부아 갈래가,
  4. 야숩에게서 야숩 갈래가, 시므론에게서 시므론 갈래가 생겼다.
  5. 이상이 이싸갈에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 육만 사천삼백 명이었다.
  1. The sons of Zebulun according to their families: of Sered, the family of the Seredites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
  2. These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were numbered of them, 60,500.
  3. The sons of Joseph according to their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.
  4. The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir became the father of Gilead: of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.
  5. These are the sons of Gilead: of Iezer, the family of the Iezerites; of Helek, the family of the Helekites;
  1. 즈불룬의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 세렛에게서 세렛 갈래가, 엘론에게서 엘론 갈래가, 야흘르엘에게서 야흘르엘 갈래가 생겼다.
  2. 이상이 즈불룬에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 육만 오백 명이었다.
  3. 요셉의 후손은 갈래를 따라 므나쎄와 에브라임으로 갈라진다.
  4. 므나쎄의 후손은 아래와 같다. 마길에게서 마길 갈래가 생겼고, 그 마길에게서 길르앗이 났다. 길르앗에게서 길르앗 갈래가 생겼는데
  5. 길르앗의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 이에젤에게서 이에젤 갈래가, 헬렉에게서 헬렉 갈래가,
  1. and of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites; and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites;
  2. and of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
  3. Now Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.
  4. These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were 52,700.
  5. These are the sons of Ephraim according to their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
  1. 아스리엘에게서 아스리엘 갈래가, 세겜에게서 세겜 갈래가,
  2. 스미다에게서 스미다 갈래가, 헤벨에게서 헤벨 갈래가 생겼다.
  3. 그런데 헤벨의 아들 슬롭핫은 딸만 두었고 아들은 없었다. 슬롭핫의 딸들의 이름은 마흘라, 노아, 호글라, 밀가, 디르사였다.
  4. 이상이 므나쎄에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 오만 이천칠백 명이었다.
  5. 에브라임의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 수델라에게서 수델라 갈래가, 베겔에게서 베겔 갈래가, 다한에게서 다한 갈래가 생겼다.
  1. These are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
  2. These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those who were numbered of them, 32,500. These are the sons of Joseph according to their families.
  3. The sons of Benjamin according to their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;
  4. of Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
  5. The sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.
  1. 수델라의 후손은 에란인데, 에란에게서 에란 갈래가 생겼다.
  2. 이상이 에브라임 후손의 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 삼만 이천오백 명이었다. 이상이 갈래를 따라 본 요셉의 후손이다.
  3. 베냐민의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 벨라에게서 벨라 갈래가, 아스벨에게서 아스벨 갈래가, 아히람에게서 아히람 갈래가,
  4. 스부밤에게서 스부밤 갈래가, 후밤에게서 후밤 갈래가 생겼다.
  5. 벨라에게는 아르드와 나아만이라는 아들이 있었다. 아르드에게서 아르드 갈래가, 나아만에게서 나아만 갈래가 생겼다.
  1. These are the sons of Benjamin according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were 45,600.
  2. These are the sons of Dan according to their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan according to their families.
  3. All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were 64,400.
  4. The sons of Asher according to their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.
  5. Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites; of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
  1. 이상이 베냐민 후손의 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 사만 오천육백 명이었다.
  2. 단의 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 수함에게서 수함 갈래가 생겼다. 이상이 단에게서 나온 갈래인데
  3. 등록된 수는 모두 육만 사천사백 명이었다.
  4. 아셀 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 임나에게서 임나 갈래가, 이스위에게서 이스위 갈래가, 브리아에게서 브리아 갈래가 생겼다.
  5. 브리아의 후손으로는 헤벨에게서 헤벨 갈래가, 말기엘에게서 말기엘 갈래가 생겼다.
  1. The name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.
  2. These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those who were numbered of them, 53,400.
  3. The sons of Naphtali according to their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
  4. of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
  5. These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were 45,400.
  1. 아셀에게는 세라라는 딸이 있었다.
  2. 이상이 아셀 후손의 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 오만 삼천사백 명이었다.
  3. 납달리 후손은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 야하스엘에게서 야하스엘 갈래가, 구니에게서 구니 갈래가,
  4. 예셀에게서 예셀 갈래가, 실렘에게서 실렘 갈래가 생겼다.
  5. 이상이 납달리에게서 나온 갈래들인데 등록된 수는 모두 사만 오천사백 명이었다.
  1. These are those who were numbered of the sons of Israel, 601,730.
  2. Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
  3. "Among these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
  4. "To the larger group you shall increase their inheritance, and to the smaller group you shall diminish their inheritance; each shall be given their inheritance according to those who were numbered of them.
  5. "But the land shall be divided by lot. They shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
  1. 이렇게 등록된 이스라엘 백성은 모두 육십만 천칠백삼십 명이었다.
  2. 야훼께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다.
  3. "등록된 사람의 수를 따라 이들에게 땅을 유산으로 나누어주어라.
  4. 사람이 많으면 유산을 많이 주고 적으면 유산을 적게 주어라. 이렇게 등록된 사람의 수에 따라 각기 유산을 나누어주어라.
  5. 그런데 땅을 나누어줄 때에는 선조 때로부터 내려오는 지파의 이름을 따라 나누어주되 주사위를 던져서
  1. "According to the selection by lot, their inheritance shall be divided between the larger and the smaller groups."
  2. These are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
  3. These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram.
  4. The name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt; and she bore to Amram: Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.
  5. To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
  1. 그 결과를 따라 많으면 많은 대로 적으면 적은 대로 유산을 나누어주어라."
  2. 등록된 레위인은 아래와 같은 갈래로 갈라진다. 게르손에게서 게르손 갈래가, 크핫에게서 크핫 갈래가, 므라리에게서 므라리 갈래가 생겼다.
  3. 레위의 갈래는 리브니 갈래, 헤브론 갈래, 마흘리 갈래, 무시 갈래, 코라 갈래로 갈라진다. 크핫에게서 아므람이 났다.
  4. 아므람의 아내 이름은 요게벳인데, 레위가 이집트에서 얻은 딸이다. 이 요게벳이 아므람에게 아론과 모세, 그리고 딸 미리암을 낳아주었다.
  5. 아론에게서 나답, 아비후, 엘르아잘, 이다말이 태어났는데,
  1. But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
  2. Those who were numbered of them were 23,000, every male from a month old and upward, for they were not numbered among the sons of Israel since no inheritance was given to them among the sons of Israel.
  3. These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
  4. But among these there was not a man of those who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
  5. For the LORD had said of them, "They shall surely die in the wilderness " And not a man was left of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh and Joshua the son of Nun.
  1. 나답과 아비후는 속된 불을 가지고 야훼 앞으로 나갔다가 죽었다.
  2. 한 달 이상 된 남자로서 등록된 레위인의 수는 이만 삼천 명이었다. 그들은 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 받을 유산이 없었으므로 이스라엘 백성과 같은 등록부에 오르지 않았다.
  3. 이상이 모세와 사제 엘르아잘이 예리고 가까운 요르단 강 가 모압 광야에서 조사한 이스라엘 백성의 인구였다.
  4. 이들 속에는 모세와 사제 엘르아잘이 시나이 광야에서 인구를 조사할 때 등록한 사람은 하나도 없었다.
  5. 야훼께서 모두 광야에서 죽으리라고 말씀하신 대로 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아를 제외하고는 모두가 죽었기 때문이었다.
