- "After a little while the world will no longer see Me, but you will see Me; because I live, you will live also.
- "In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.

- 내가 아버지께 구하면 다른 협조자를 보내주셔서 너희와 영원히 함께 계시도록 하실 것이다.
- 그분은 곧 진리의 성령이시다. 세상은 그분을 보지도 못하고 알지도 못하기 때문에 그분을 받아들일 수 없지만 너희는 그분을 알고 있다. 그분이 너희와 함께 사시며 너희 안에 계시기 때문이다.
- 나는 너희를 고아들처럼 버려두지 않겠다. 기어이 너희에게로 돌아오겠다.
- 이제 조금만 지나면 세상은 나를 보지 못하게 되겠지만 내가 살아 있고 너희도 살아 있을 터이니 너희는 나를 보게 될 것이다.
- 그 날이 오면 너희는 내가 아버지 안에 있다는 것과 너희가 내 안에 있고 내가 너희 안에 있다는 것을 깨닫게 될 것이다.

- "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him."

- 내 계명을 받아들이고 지키는 사람이 바로 나를 사랑하는 사람이다. 나를 사랑하는 사람은 내 아버지에게 사랑을 받을 것이다. 나도 또한 그를 사랑하고 그에게 나를 나타내 보이겠다."
- 가리옷 사람이 아닌 다른 유다가 "주님, 주님께서 왜 세상에는 나타내 보이지 않으시고 저희에게만 나타내 보이시려고 하십니까?" 하고 물었다.

- 이제 아버지께서 내 이름으로 보내주실 성령 곧 그 협조자는 모든 것을 너희에게 가르쳐주실 뿐만 아니라 내가 너희에게 한 말을 모두 되새기게 하여주실 것이다."
- "나는 너희에게 평화를 주고 간다. 내 평화를 너희에게 주는 것이다. 내가 주는 평화는 세상이 주는 평화와는 다르다. 걱정하거나 두려워하지 마라.
- 내가 떠나갔다가 너희에게로 다시 오겠다는 말을 너희가 듣지 않았느냐? 아버지께서는 나보다 훌륭하신 분이니 만일 너희가 나를 사랑한다면 내가 아버지께로 가는 것을 기뻐했을 것이다.
- 내가 지금 이 일을 미리 알려주는 것은 그 일이 일어날 때 너희로 하여금 믿게 하려는 것이다.
- 너희와 이야기를 나눌 시간도 얼마 남지 않았다. 이 세상의 권력자가 가까이 오고 있다. 그가 나를 어떻게 할 수는 없지만
