사무엘하 5:1-6:23

 이스보셋의 죽음으로 사울 집안과의 내전은 끝났고 다윗은 전이스라엘의 왕으로 등극했다. 다윗은 예루살렘을 점령하여 다윗 성으로 삼았다. 왕권을 확립한 다윗은 법궤를 다윗 성으로 옮기기로 결정하였다. 그러나 1차 운반은 규례에 어긋난 방법으로 인해 실패했고, 3개월 후 다시 시도한 끝에 법궤는 예루살렘에 안치되었다.
  
  전이스라엘의 왕이 된 다윗(5:1-5:25)    
 
  1. Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron and said, "Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
  2. "Previously, when Saul was king over us, you were the one who led Israel out and in And the LORD said to you, 'You will shepherd My people Israel, and you will be a ruler over Israel.'"
  3. So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and King David made a covenant with them before the LORD at Hebron; then they anointed David king over Israel.
  4. David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years.
  5. At Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years over all Israel and Judah.
  1. 이스라엘 여러 족속이 모두 헤브론으로 다윗을 찾아와 아뢰었다. "우리는 임금님과 한 골육입니다.
  2. 전에 사울이 우리의 왕이었을 때에도 우리 이스라엘을 거느리고 출전하신 것은 임금님이었습니다. 야훼께서도 임금님께 '너는 내 백성 이스라엘의 목자로서 이스라엘의 영도자가 되라.' 하지 않으셨습니까?"
  3. 이리하여 다윗 왕은 헤브론으로 찾아온 이스라엘의 모든 장로들을 맞아 야훼 앞에서 조약을 맺었고, 그들은 다윗에게 기름을 부어 이스라엘 왕으로 삼았다.
  4. 다윗은 나이 삼십에 왕위에 올라 사십 년을 다스렸다.
  5. 헤브론에서 칠 년 육 개월 동안 유다를 다스렸고, 예루살렘에서는 삼십삼 년 동안 온 이스라엘과 유다를 다스렸다.
  1. Now the king and his men went to Jerusalem against the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, and they said to David, "You shall not come in here, but the blind and lame will turn you away"; thinking, "David cannot enter here."
  2. Nevertheless, David captured the stronghold of Zion, that is the city of David.
  3. David said on that day, "Whoever would strike the Jebusites, let him reach the lame and the blind, who are hated by David's soul, through the water tunnel." Therefore they say, "The blind or the lame shall not come into the house."
  4. So David lived in the stronghold and called it the city of David And David built all around from the Millo and inward.
  5. David became greater and greater, for the LORD God of hosts was with him.
  1. 다윗 왕이 부하를 거느리고 예루살렘을 치러 가자, 거기 사는 여부스인들이 다윗에게 빈정거렸다. "너 같은 것이 이리로 쳐들어오다니, 어림도 없다. 소경이나 절름발이도 너쯤은 쫓아낼 수 있다." 그들은 다윗이 감히 쳐들어오지는 못하리라고 생각했던 것이다.
  2. 그러나 다윗은 그 견고한 시온 성을 점령하였다. 그리하여 이것이 다윗의 도성이 되었다.
  3. 그 날, 다윗은 이런 명령을 내렸다. "누가 여부스인을 치려느냐? 물을 길어 올리는 바위벽을 타고 올라가 절름발이와 소경들을 쳐라. 이 다윗은 그자들이 사무치게 밉다." 이리하여 소경과 절름발이는 왕궁에 들어가지 못하게 되었다.
  4. 다윗은 그 견고한 성에서 살며 그 성을 다윗의 도성이라고 불렀다. 그는 밀로의 안쪽으로 다시 성곽을 둘러 쌓았다.
  5. 만군의 하느님 야훼께서 다윗과 함께 계시므로, 그의 세력은 날로 뻗어갔다.
  1. Then Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David with cedar trees and carpenters and stonemasons; and they built a house for David.
  2. And David realized that the LORD had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel.
  3. Meanwhile David took more concubines and wives from Jerusalem, after he came from Hebron; and more sons and daughters were born to David.
  4. Now these are the names of those who were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon,
  5. Ibhar, Elishua, Nepheg, Japhia,
  1. 띠로 왕 히람은 다윗에게 사절단을 보내며 송백 재목과 함께 목수와 석수를 딸려 보내어 다윗의 궁을 짓게 하였다.
  2. 다윗은 야훼께서 자기를 이스라엘 왕으로 튼튼히 세우시고 자기의 왕권을 떨치게 하신 것은 당신의 백성 이스라엘을 잘되게 하시려는 데 그 뜻이 있다는 것을 알게 되었다.
  3. 다윗은 헤브론에서 예루살렘으로 자리를 옮긴 뒤 후궁들을 더 얻어 아들딸을 많이 낳았다.
  4. 그가 예루살렘에서 낳은 아들들의 이름은 삼무아, 소밥, 나단, 솔로몬,
  5. 이브할, 엘리수아, 네벡, 야비아,
  1. Elishama, Eliada and Eliphelet.
  2. When the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek out David; and when David heard of it, he went down to the stronghold.
  3. Now the Philistines came and spread themselves out in the valley of Rephaim.
  4. Then David inquired of the LORD, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand?" And the LORD said to David, "Go up, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand."
  5. So David came to Baal-perazim and defeated them there; and he said, "The LORD has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore he named that place Baal-perazim.
  1. 엘리사마, 엘리아다, 엘리벨렛이었다.
  2. 이스라엘이 다윗에게 기름 부어 왕으로 모셨다는 말을 듣고 불레셋 군은 다윗을 잡으려고 쳐 올라왔다. 다윗이 이 소식을 듣고 요새로 내려갔을 때
  3. 불레셋 군은 이미 르바임 골짜기를 가득 메우고 있었다.
  4. 다윗이 야훼께 물었다. "불레셋 군을 쳐 올라가도 되겠습니까? 야훼께서는 그들을 제 손에 넘겨주시겠습니까?" 야훼께서 다윗에게 대답하셨다. "쳐 올라가라. 내가 기어이 불레셋 군을 네 손에 넘겨주리라." 다윗은 야훼의 응낙을 받고
  5. 바알브라심으로 가서 그들을 쳐부수었다. 그리고 그는 "물이 둑을 무너뜨리듯 야훼께서 원수를 내 앞에서 무너뜨리셨다."고 하여 그 곳을 바알브라심이라 불렀다.
  1. They abandoned their idols there, so David and his men carried them away.
  2. Now the Philistines came up once again and spread themselves out in the valley of Rephaim.
  3. When David inquired of the LORD, He said, "You shall not go directly up; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees.
  4. "It shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall act promptly, for then the LORD will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines."
  5. Then David did so, just as the LORD had commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba as far as Gezer.
  1. 다윗은 불레셋 군이 그 곳에 버리고 간 우상들을 부하들과 함께 말끔히 치웠다.
  2. 불레셋 군이 다시 쳐 올라와 르바임 골짜기를 메웠다.
  3. 다윗이 야훼께 물으니 야훼께서 이렇게 일러주셨다. "곧장 올라가지 말고 적의 뒤로 돌아가 바카 향나무 맞은편에서 습격하여라.
  4. 그 바카나무 숲 위에서 발소리가 나거든 곧 진격하여라. 나 야훼가 앞장서서 불레셋 군을 치러 나가는 것이다."
  5. 이리하여 다윗은 야훼의 명령을 따라 불레셋 군을 기브온에서 게젤까지 쫓아가며 무찔렀다.
 
  예루살렘에 안치된 법궤(6:1-6:23)    
 
  1. Now David again gathered all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.
  2. And David arose and went with all the people who were with him to Baale-judah, to bring up from there the ark of God which is called by the Name, the very name of the LORD of hosts who is enthroned above the cherubim.
  3. They placed the ark of God on a new cart that they might bring it from the house of Abinadab which was on the hill; and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, were leading the new cart.
  4. So they brought it with the ark of God from the house of Abinadab, which was on the hill; and Ahio was walking ahead of the ark.
  5. Meanwhile, David and all the house of Israel were celebrating before the LORD with all kinds of instruments made of fir wood, and with lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets and cymbals.
  1. 다윗은 이스라엘에서 정병 삼만 명을 소집했다.
  2. 다윗은 이 전군을 거느리고 유다 바알라에 가서 하느님의 궤를 옮겨오려는 것이었다. 그 궤는 거룹을 타고 계시는 만군의 야훼의 이름으로 불리는 궤였다.
  3. 그들이 언덕 위에 있는 아비나답의 집에서 하느님의 궤를 새 수레에 싣고 나올 때, 아비나답의 아들 우짜와 아효가 그 새 수레를 몰았다.
  4. 우짜는 궤 옆에서 따르고, 아효는 궤 앞에서 인도했다.
  5. 다윗과 온 이스라엘 백성은 수금과 거문고를 뜯고 소구와 땡땡이와 바라를 치면서 마음껏 노래부르며 춤을 추었다.
  1. But when they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out toward the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen nearly upset it.
  2. And the anger of the LORD burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.
  3. David became angry because of the LORD'S outburst against Uzzah, and that place is called Perez-uzzah to this day.
  4. So David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, "How can the ark of the LORD come to me?"
  5. And David was unwilling to move the ark of the LORD into the city of David with him; but David took it aside to the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
  1. 그들이 나곤이라는 사람의 타작 마당을 지날 때였다. 소가 뛰는 바람에 하느님의 궤가 떨어지려고 하자 우짜가 손을 대어 붙들었는데
  2. 야훼 하느님께서 우짜의 잘못을 보시고 진노하여 그를 치셨다. 우짜는 하느님의 궤 옆에서 죽었다.
  3. 다윗은 야훼께서 우짜를 치신 일이 몹시 마음에 걸렸다. 그래서 그 곳을 베레스우짜라 불렀는데, 그 이름이 지금까지 남아 있다.
  4. 다윗은 그 날, 야훼가 너무 두려워, "이래서야 어찌 야훼의 궤를 모실 것인가!" 하였다.
  5. 그래서 다윗은 야훼의 궤를 자기 도성으로 맞아들이려 하지 않고 갓 사람 오베데돔의 집으로 옮겨 모셨다.
  1. Thus the ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-edom and all his household.
  2. Now it was told King David, saying, "The LORD has blessed the house of Obed-edom and all that belongs to him, on account of the ark of God." David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness.
  3. And so it was, that when the bearers of the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatling.
  4. And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod.
  5. So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouting and the sound of the trumpet.
  1. 야훼의 궤를 오베데돔의 집에 모셔둔 석 달 동안, 야훼께서는 오베데돔과 그 집안 식구에게 복을 내려주셨다.
  2. 오베데돔의 집에 하느님의 궤를 모셔두었기 때문에 야훼께서 그 집 식구들과 모든 재산에 복을 내려주신다는 소식을 듣고 다윗 왕은 너무나도 기뻐 하느님의 궤를 오베데돔의 집에서 자기 도성으로 모시고 올라왔다.
  3. 야훼의 궤를 멘 사람들이 여섯 걸음을 옮긴 다음 다윗은 살진 황소를 잡아 바쳤다.
  4. 그리고 다윗은 모시 에봇을 입고 야훼 앞에서 덩실거리며 춤을 추었다.
  5. 다윗은 온 이스라엘 백성들과 함께 나팔을 불고 함성을 지르며 야훼의 궤를 모시고 올라왔다.
  1. Then it happened as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.
  2. So they brought in the ark of the LORD and set it in its place inside the tent which David had pitched for it; and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.
  3. When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offering, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts.
  4. Further, he distributed to all the people, to all the multitude of Israel, both to men and women, a cake of bread and one of dates and one of raisins to each one. Then all the people departed each to his house.
  5. But when David returned to bless his household, Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David and said, "How the king of Israel distinguished himself today! He uncovered himself today in the eyes of his servants' maids as one of the foolish ones shamelessly uncovers himself!"
  1. 야훼의 궤가 다윗의 도성에 들어올 때 다윗 왕이 야훼 앞에서 덩실 덩실 춤추는 것을 사울의 딸 미갈이 창으로 내려다보고는 속으로 비웃었다.
  2. 다윗은 미리 성막을 쳐서 마련해 놓은 자리에 야훼의 궤를 모셔놓고 야훼께 번제와 친교제를 드렸다.
  3. 이렇게 번제와 친교제를 드린 다음 다윗은 만군의 야훼의 이름으로 백성들에게 복을 빌어주었다.
  4. 그리고 모여든 온 이스라엘 백성들에게 남녀를 가리지 않고 떡 한 개, 마른 대추야자 한 뭉치, 건포도떡 한 개씩을 나누어주었다. 백성들은 모두 이것을 받아가지고 자기 집으로 돌아갔다.
  5. 다윗이 자기 식구들에게 복을 빌어주려고 돌아오자 사울의 딸 미갈이 나가 다윗을 맞으며 말하였다. "오늘 이스라엘의 임금으로서 체통이 참 볼만하더군요. 건달처럼 신하들의 여편네들 보는 앞에서 몸을 온통 드러내시다니."
  1. So David said to Michal, "It was before the LORD, who chose me above your father and above all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel; therefore I will celebrate before the LORD.
  2. "I will be more lightly esteemed than this and will be humble in my own eyes, but with the maids of whom you have spoken, with them I will be distinguished."
  3. Michal the daughter of Saul had no child to the day of her death.
  1. 다윗이 미갈에게 대답하였다. "야훼께서는 그대 아버지와 그대 집안을 다 제쳐놓으시고 나를 택하여 당신의 백성 이스라엘의 왕으로 세워주셨소. 나는 그 야훼 앞에서 춤을 추었소. 나는 앞으로도 야훼 앞에서 춤출 것이며
  2. 이번보다도 더 경망히 굴 것이오. 그대는 천하게 보겠지만 지금 말한 그 여편네들은 나를 더욱 우러를 것이오."
  3. 그 뒤 사울의 딸 미갈은 죽는 날까지 자식을 낳지 못했다.
 
  요해처(要害處, 5:17)  지세가 험준하여 적을 방어하기 좋은 곳  
  충돌(衝突, 6:8)  ‘파괴하다’,‘분산시키다’의 의미로 하나님께서 내리신 재난을 말함
