이사야 49:1-50:11

 이사야는 하나님께서 택하신 종 메시아는 이스라엘을 비롯하여 장차 모든 성도들의 영원한 구원자가 되실 것임을 예언하였다. 하나님께서는 말씀에 불순종했던 이스라엘 백성들에게 심판을 내려 포로 생활을 하게 하셨지만 회복을 약속하셨다. 메시아가 하나님의 뜻에 순종함으로 받는 고난은 인간이 스스로 씻을 수 없는 죄악을 대속하기 위함이었다
  
  야웨의 종의 노래(49:1-49:7)    
 
  1. Listen to Me, O islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar The LORD called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.
  2. He has made My mouth like a sharp sword, In the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me; And He has also made Me a select arrow, He has hidden Me in His quiver.
  3. He said to Me, "You are My Servant, Israel, In Whom I will show My glory."
  4. But I said, "I have toiled in vain, I have spent My strength for nothing and vanity; Yet surely the justice due to Me is with the LORD, And My reward with My God."
  5. And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, To bring Jacob back to Him, so that Israel might be gathered to Him (For I am honored in the sight of the LORD, And My God is My strength),
  1. 바닷가에 사는 주민들아, 내 말을 들어라. 먼 곳에 사는 부족들아, 정신차려 들어라. 야훼께서 태중에 있는 나를 이미 부르셨고 내가 어머니의 뱃속에 있을 때에 이미 이름을 지어주셨다.
  2. 내 입을 칼처럼 날세우셨고 당신의 손 그늘에 나를 숨겨주셨다. 날카로운 화살처럼 나를 벼리시어 당신의 화살통에 꽂아두시고
  3. 나에게 말씀하셨다. "너는 나의 종, 너에게서 나의 영광이 빛나리라."
  4. 그러나 나는 생각하였다. "나는 헛수고만 하였다. 공연히 힘만 빼었다." 그런데도 야훼만은 나를 바로 알아주시고 나의 하느님만은 나의 품삯을 셈해 주신다.
  5. 야훼께서 나를 지극히 귀하게 보시고 나의 하느님께서 나의 힘이 되어주신다. 야곱을 당신께로 돌아오게 하시려고 이스라엘을 당신께로 모여들게 하시려고 나를 태중에 지어 당신의 종으로 삼으신 야훼께서 이제 말씀하신다.
  1. He says, "It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also make You a light of the nations So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth."
  2. Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel and its Holy One, To the despised One, To the One abhorred by the nation, To the Servant of rulers, "Kings will see and arise, Princes will also bow down, Because of the LORD who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You."
  1. "네가 나의 종으로서 할 일은 야곱의 지파들을 다시 일으키고 살아 남은 이스라엘 사람을 돌아오게 하는 것으로 그치지 않는다. 나는 너를 만국의 빛으로 세운다. 너는 땅 끝까지 나의 구원이 이르게 하여라."
  2. 만국이 꺼려하여 가까이하지 아니하므로 지배자들의 기막힌 멸시를 받으며 종살이하는 너에게 이스라엘을 건지신 거룩한 이, 야훼께서 말씀하신다. 성실하신 야훼, 이스라엘의 거룩하신 이께서 너를 뽑아 세우셨다. 왕들은 네 앞에서 일어서고 수령들은 땅에 엎드리리라.
 
  이스라엘의 회복(49:8-49:26)    
 
  1. Thus says the LORD, "In a favorable time I have answered You, And in a day of salvation I have helped You; And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people, To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;
  2. Saying to those who are bound, 'Go forth,' To those who are in darkness, 'Show yourselves ' Along the roads they will feed, And their pasture will be on all bare heights.
  3. "They will not hunger or thirst, Nor will the scorching heat or sun strike them down; For He who has compassion on them will lead them And will guide them to springs of water.
  4. "I will make all My mountains a road, And My highways will be raised up.
  5. "Behold, these will come from afar; And lo, these will come from the north and from the west, And these from the land of Sinim."
  1. 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "너의 소원을 기쁘게 들어줄 때가 온다. 너를 도와주고 구원해 줄 날이 온다. 그 날 내가 손수 빚은 너를 사이에 두고 나의 백성과 계약을 맺으리라. 그 날 너는 쑥밭이 되었던 유산을 되찾아 나라를 재건하여라.
  2. 감옥에 갇혀 있는 자들에게 일러라. '어서 나오너라.' 캄캄한 곳에 웅크리고 있는 자들에게 일러라. '나와 몸을 드러내어라.' 그들은 가는 길에서마다 풀을 뜯으리니 돌아가는 길가 어디든지 뜯을 풀이 있고 사는 곳에서마다 푸른 풀로 덮인 언덕을 만나리라.
  3. 그들은 결코 배고프거나 목마르지 아니하리라. 열풍에 쓰러지고 햇볕에 넘어지는 일도 없으리라. 내가 그들을 가엾게 여겨 이끌어주고 샘이 솟는 곳으로 인도해 주리라.
  4. 첩첩산중에 길을 닦고 굽이굽이 큰길을 돋우어주리라.
  5. 먼 곳에서 돌아가는 이 사람들을 보아라. 북에서도 서에서도 돌아가고 시님족의 나라에서도 돌아간다."
  1. Shout for joy, O heavens! And rejoice, O earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people And will have compassion on His afflicted.
  2. But Zion said, "The LORD has forsaken me, And the Lord has forgotten me."
  3. "Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
  4. "Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.
  5. "Your builders hurry; Your destroyers and devastators Will depart from you.
  1. 하늘아, 환성을 올려라. 땅아, 기뻐 뛰어라. 산들아, 기뻐 소리를 질러라. 야훼께서 당신의 백성을 위로하시고 그 천대받는 자들을 극진히 사랑하셨다.
  2. "'야훼께서 나를 버리셨다. 나의 주께서 나를 잊으셨다.'고 너 시온은 말하였었지.
  3. 여인이 자기의 젖먹이를 어찌 잊으랴! 자기가 낳은 아이를 어찌 가엾게 여기지 않으랴! 어미는 혹시 잊을지 몰라도 나는 결코 너를 잊지 아니하리라.
  4. 너는 나의 두 손바닥에 새겨져 있고 너 시온의 성벽은 항상 나의 눈앞에 있다.
  5. 너를 다시 일으킬 자들이 서둘러 모이니 너를 허물고 짓밟던 자들이 달아나리라.
  1. "Lift up your eyes and look around; All of them gather together, they come to you As I live," declares the LORD, "You will surely put on all of them as jewels and bind them on as a bride.
  2. "For your waste and desolate places and your destroyed land-- Surely now you will be too cramped for the inhabitants, And those who swallowed you will be far away.
  3. "The children of whom you were bereaved will yet say in your ears, 'The place is too cramped for me; Make room for me that I may live here.'
  4. "Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has begotten these for me, Since I have been bereaved of my children And am barren, an exile and a wanderer? And who has reared these? Behold, I was left alone; From where did these come?'"
  5. Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations And set up My standard to the peoples; And they will bring your sons in their bosom, And your daughters will be carried on their shoulders.
  1. 고개를 들어 둘러보아라. 모두들 너에게로 모여오고 있다. 내가 목숨을 걸고 맹세한다." 야훼의 말씀이시다. "그들은 네 몸에 걸친 패물과 같으리니 네가 신부처럼 아름다우리라.
  2. 짓밟혀 쑥밭이 되고 폐허가 되었던 땅이, 이제는 비좁아 사람들이 살 수 없게 되어 너를 괴롭히던 자들이 모두 물러가리라.
  3. 여읜 줄로 알았던 자식들이 돌아와, 이 곳은 살기 좁으니 자리를 넓혀달라고 떼쓰는 소리를 네 귀로 들으며,
  4. 너는 속으로 이렇게 생각하리라. '이것들을 누가 나에게 낳아주었을까? 나는 자식을 여의고 다시 낳을 수도 없는 몸이었는데 누가 이것들을 이렇게 키워주었을까? 나 혼자만 살아 남았었는데 이것들이 다 어디에서 왔을까?'"
  5. 주 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "내가 손을 들어 만국을 부르리라. 백성들을 향하여 나의 깃발을 날리리라. 그러면 그들은 너의 아들들을 품에 안고 너의 딸들을 목말태워 오리라.
  1. "Kings will be your guardians, And their princesses your nurses They will bow down to you with their faces to the earth And lick the dust of your feet; And you will know that I am the LORD; Those who hopefully wait for Me will not be put to shame.
  2. "Can the prey be taken from the mighty man, Or the captives of a tyrant be rescued?"
  3. Surely, thus says the LORD, "Even the captives of the mighty man will be taken away, And the prey of the tyrant will be rescued; For I will contend with the one who contends with you, And I will save your sons.
  4. "I will feed your oppressors with their own flesh, And they will become drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine; And all flesh will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
  1. 왕들은 너의 양아버지가 되고 공주들은 너의 유모가 되리라. 그들은 땅에 이마를 대고 너에게 경배하며 네 발의 먼지를 핥으리라. 그 때 비로소 너는 알리라, 내가 야훼인 줄을, 나에게 걸었던 희망은 하나도 어긋나지 않는 줄을."
  2. 적장에게 사로잡힌 사람을 빼낼 수 있느냐? 폭군의 손에서 포로를 건져낼 수 있느냐?
  3. 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "적장에게서 포로를 빼낼 수 있다. 폭군에게 사로잡힌 사람도 건져낼 수 있다. 너와 다투던 자를 내가 몸소 치고 너의 아들들을 내가 몸소 건져내리라.
  4. 그리하여 너를 박해하던 자들은 제 살코기를 먹고 제 피를 술처럼 마시고 취하리라. 그 때에 모든 인생은 알리라. 나 야훼가 너의 구원자임을, 너의 원수를 갚는 야곱의 강한 자임을."
 
  종의 순종(50:1-50:11)    
 
  1. Thus says the LORD, "Where is the certificate of divorce By which I have sent your mother away? Or to whom of My creditors did I sell you? Behold, you were sold for your iniquities, And for your transgressions your mother was sent away.
  2. "Why was there no man when I came? When I called, why was there none to answer? Is My hand so short that it cannot ransom? Or have I no power to deliver? Behold, I dry up the sea with My rebuke, I make the rivers a wilderness; Their fish stink for lack of water And die of thirst.
  3. "I clothe the heavens with blackness And make sackcloth their covering."
  4. The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.
  5. The Lord GOD has opened My ear; And I was not disobedient Nor did I turn back.
  1. 야훼께서 말씀하신다. "나는 너희 어미를 쫓아내며 이혼장을 써준 일이 없다. 나는 너희를 채권자에게 판 일이 없다. 너희는 너희의 잘못으로 팔려간 것이다. 너희가 못되게 굴었으므로 너희 어미가 쫓겨난 것이다.
  2. 내가 찾아왔는데 어찌하여 아무도 반기지 않느냐? 내가 부르는데 어찌하여 아무도 대답하지 않느냐? 내 팔이 짧아서 너희를 구출할 수 없단 말이냐? 내가 힘이 없어서 너희를 구원하지 못한단 말이냐? 내 호령 한마디에 바다가 마르고 강들은 사막이 된다. 고기들은 물이 없어 마르고 목이 타 죽는다.
  3. 나는 하늘을 먹구름으로 입히고 굵은 베를 겉옷 삼아 둘러준다."
  4. 주 야훼께서 나에게 말솜씨를 익혀주시며 고달픈 자를 격려할 줄 알게 다정한 말을 가르쳐주신다. 아침마다 내 귀를 일깨워주시어 배우는 마음으로 듣게 하신다.
  5. 주 야훼께서 나의 귀를 열어주시니 나는 거역하지도 아니하고 꽁무니를 빼지도 아니한다.
  1. I gave My back to those who strike Me, And My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard; I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting.
  2. For the Lord GOD helps Me, Therefore, I am not disgraced; Therefore, I have set My face like flint, And I know that I will not be ashamed.
  3. He who vindicates Me is near; Who will contend with Me? Let us stand up to each other; Who has a case against Me? Let him draw near to Me.
  4. Behold, the Lord GOD helps Me; Who is he who condemns Me? Behold, they will all wear out like a garment; The moth will eat them.
  5. Who is among you that fears the LORD, That obeys the voice of His servant, That walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely on his God.
  1. 나는 때리는 자들에게 등을 맡기며 수염을 뽑는 자들에게 턱을 내민다. 나는 욕설과 침뱉음을 받지 않으려고 얼굴을 가리지도 않는다.
  2. 주 야훼께서 나를 도와주시니, 나 조금도 부끄러울 것 없어 차돌처럼 내 얼굴빛 변치 않는다. 나는 수치를 당하지 않을 줄 알고 있다.
  3. 하느님께서 나의 죄없음을 알아주시고 옆에 계시는데, 누가 나를 걸어 송사하랴? 법정으로 가자. 누가 나와 시비를 가리려느냐? 겨루어보자.
  4. 주 야훼께서 이렇게 나를 도와주시는데 누가 감히 나를 그르다고 하느냐? 그들은 모두 낡은 옷처럼 좀이 쓸어 삭아 떨어지리라.
  5. 너희 가운데 야훼를 두려워하는 자가 있거든 그의 종이 하는 말을 들어라. 한 가닥 빛도 받지 못하고 암흑 속을 헤매는 자가 있거든 야훼의 이름에 희망을 걸 일이다. 자기 하느님을 의지할 일이다.
  1. Behold, all you who kindle a fire, Who encircle yourselves with firebrands, Walk in the light of your fire And among the brands you have set ablaze This you will have from My hand: You will lie down in torment.
  1. 그런데 너희는 하나같이 불을 피우고 화살을 달구는구나. 너희는 모두 스스로 피운 불 속에 뛰어들어라. 스스로 달군 화살이 날아오는 속으로 들어가거라. 너희는 이것을 내 손에서 받아야 한다. 그리하여 견딜 수 없는 괴로움으로 뒹굴리라.
