역대상 11:1-12:15

 사울에 이어 왕위에 오른 다윗은 예루살렘을 탈환하고 점점 강성하여져 갔다. 다윗의 30인 용사들의 명단과 사울이 죽기 전 다윗을 따르던 용사들의 명단이 소개되어 있다.
  
  다윗의 즉위와 예루살렘 탈환(11:1-11:9)    
 
  1. Then all Israel gathered to David at Hebron and said, "Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
  2. "In times past, even when Saul was king, you were the one who led out and brought in Israel; and the LORD your God said to you, 'You shall shepherd My people Israel, and you shall be prince over My people Israel.'"
  3. So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD through Samuel.
  4. Then David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
  5. The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, "You shall not enter here." Nevertheless David captured the stronghold of Zion (that is, the city of David).
  1. 그 후에 이스라엘의 지도자들이 헤브론에 있는 다윗에게 와서 이렇게 말하였다. '우리는 왕과 핏줄을 같이한 형제들입니다.
  2. 사울이 왕이었을 때에도 전쟁에서 이스라엘군을 지휘한 사람은 왕이었습니다. 그리고 왕의 하나님 여호와께서도 왕이 이스라엘의 목자와 통치자가 될 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다.'
  3. 그래서 다윗은 여호와 앞에서 이스라엘의 지도자들과 그 곳 헤브론에서 계약을 맺었다. 그러자 그들은 다윗에게 기름을 부어 그를 이스라엘의 왕으로 삼았는데 이것은 여호와께서 사무엘을 통해 말씀하신 대로 된 것이다.
  4. 그런 다음 다윗은 모든 이스라엘 사람들과 함께 예루살렘, 곧 여부스로 갔다. 그러나 아직 그 곳에 살고 있던 원주민들인 여부스 사람들이
  5. 그들을 성으로 들어오지 못하게 하였다. 그래서 다윗은 시온 요새를 빼앗았으며 후에 그곳은 다윗성이라 불려졌다.
  1. Now David had said, "Whoever strikes down a Jebusite first shall be chief and commander." Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, so he became chief.
  2. Then David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore it was called the city of David.
  3. He built the city all around, from the Millo even to the surrounding area; and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
  4. David became greater and greater, for the LORD of hosts was with him.
  1. 그때 다윗이 그의 부하들에게 '여부스 사람을 제일 먼저 공격하는 자가 총사령관이 될 것이다.' 하고 외치자 스루야의 아들 요압이 제일 먼저 나가서 여부스 사람을 치고 다윗 군대의 총사령관이 되었다.
  2. 다윗이 그 요새에 살았으므로 사람들이 그 곳을 다윗성이라고 불렀다.
  3. 그 후에 다윗은 밀로에서부터 그 요새 주변으로 성을 쌓고 나머지는 요압이 증축하였다.
  4. 이렇게 해서 다윗은 점점 강성해 갔다. 이것은 전능하신 여호와께서 그와 함께 하셨기 때문이었다.
 
  다윗의 용사들(11:10-12:15)    
 
  1. Now these are the heads of the mighty men whom David had, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
  2. These constitute the list of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred whom he killed at one time.
  3. After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.
  4. He was with David at Pasdammim when the Philistines were gathered together there to battle, and there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people fled before the Philistines.
  5. They took their stand in the midst of the plot and defended it, and struck down the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great victory.
  1. 여호와께서 미리 말씀하신 대로 이스라엘 백성과 함께 다윗을 도와 왕이 되게 한 용감한 군인들이 몇 사람 있었다.
  2. 그들은 첫째 학몬 집안의 야소브암이었다. 그는 이스라엘 3대 명장의 두목으로 한때 창을 가지고 300명을 죽인 일이 있었다.
  3. 3대 명장 가운데 그 다음으로 유명한 사람은 아호아 집안 사람인 도도의 아들 엘르아살이었다.
  4. 그는 바스-담밈에서 블레셋 사람과 싸울 때에 다윗과 함께 있었는데 이스라엘군이 보리밭에서 블레셋군과 싸우다가 도망하자
  5. 그는 밭 한가운데에서 블레셋군과 맞서 싸웠다. 그래서 여호와께서는 그에게 큰 승리를 주셨다.
  1. Now three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam, while the army of the Philistines was camping in the valley of Rephaim.
  2. David was then in the stronghold, while the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem.
  3. David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!"
  4. So the three broke through the camp of the Philistines and drew water from the well of Bethlehem which was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David; nevertheless David would not drink it, but poured it out to the LORD;
  5. and he said, "Be it far from me before my God that I should do this. Shall I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives? For at the risk of their lives they brought it." Therefore he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.
  1. 어느 날 30명의 용장 가운데 세 명이 다윗이 숨어 있는 아둘람 굴로 내려 갔다. 그때 블레셋군은 르바임 골짜기에 진을 치고 있었고
  2. 다윗은 요새에 있었으며 블레셋 사람의 주둔군은 베들레헴에 있었다.
  3. 이때 다윗이 고향을 그리워 하면서 '베들레헴 성문 곁에 있는 우물물이 먹고 싶어 못 견디겠구나! 누가 그 물을 좀 길어 올 사람이 없는가?' 하자
  4. 그 세 사람이 블레셋군의 진영을 뚫고 들어가 그 우물물을 길어서 다윗에게 가져왔다. 그러나 다윗은 그 물을 마시지 않고 그것을 여호와께 제물로 부어 드리고
  5. 이렇게 부르짖었다. '하나님이시여, 내가 절대로 이 물을 마시지 않겠습니다. 이것은 죽음을 무릅쓰고 갔다온 사람들의 피와 같은 것인데 내가 어떻게 이 물을 마실 수 있겠습니까!'
  1. As for Abshai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the thirty, and he swung his spear against three hundred and killed them; and he had a name as well as the thirty.
  2. Of the three in the second rank he was the most honored and became their commander; however, he did not attain to the first three.
  3. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, mighty in deeds, struck down the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion inside a pit on a snowy day.
  4. He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature five cubits tall. Now in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam, but he went down to him with a club and snatched the spear from the Egyptian's hand and killed him with his own spear.
  5. These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and had a name as well as the three mighty men.
  1. 이 세 용사 중에 요압의 동생 아비새가 그들의 인솔자였다. 그는 한때 창으로 적군 300명을 쳐죽이고 유명해져서 30명 용장 가운데 대장이 되어 3대 명장 못지 않은 명성을 얻었다. 그러나 그는 그 3대 명장 가운데는 들지 못하였다.
  2. (20절과 같음)
  3. 또 갑스엘 사람 여호야다의 아들 브나야도 큰 공을 세운 용감한 군인이었다. 그는 사자 같은 모압의 두 장수를 죽였고 또 한번은 눈 오는 날 미끄러운데도 함정에 내려가서 그 곳에 빠져 있는 사자를 잡아죽였다.
  4. 그는 또 이집트 거인을 죽인 적도 있었는데 그 사람의 키는 2미터가 훨씬 넘었으며 그의 창자루는 베틀채만큼 두꺼웠다. 그러나 브나야는 막대기 하나만 가지고 내려가서 그 거인의 창을 빼앗아 그것으로 그를 죽였다.
  5. 이런 용감한 일로 브나야도 앞서 말한 세 용사 중 하나로 명성을 얻어
  1. Behold, he was honored among the thirty, but he did not attain to the three; and David appointed him over his guard.
  2. Now the mighty men of the armies were Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
  3. Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,
  4. Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,
  5. Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
  1. 30명 용장 가운데서도 아주 유명한 사람이 되었다. 그래서 다윗은 그를 자기 경호대장으로 삼았다. 그러나 그는 3대 명장 가운데는 들지 못하였다.
  2. 이스라엘 용장들은 다음과 같다. 요압의 동생 아사헬, 베들레헴 출신 도도의 아들 엘하난,
  3. 하롯 사람 삼못, 블론 사람 헬레스,
  4. 드고아 사람 익게스의 아들 이라, 아나돗 사람 아비에셀,
  5. 후사 사람 십브개, 아호아 사람 일래,
  1. Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of Baanah the Netophathite,
  2. Ithai the son of Ribai of Gibeah of the sons of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
  3. Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
  4. Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,
  5. the sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan the son of Shagee the Hararite,
  1. 느도바 사람 마하래, 느도바 사람 바아나의 아들 헬렛,
  2. 베냐민 지파의 기브아 사람인 리배의 아들 잇대, 비라돈 사람 브나야,
  3. 가아스 시냇가에 살던 후래, 아르바 사람 아비엘,
  4. 바하룸 사람 아스마웻, 사알본 사람 엘리아바,
  5. 기손 사람 하셈의 아들들, 하랄 사람 사게의 아들 요나단,
  1. Ahiam the son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the son of Ur,
  2. Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the Pelonite,
  3. Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the son of Ezbai,
  4. Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the son of Hagri,
  5. Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armor bearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,
  1. 하랄 사람 사갈의 아들 아히암, 울의 아들 엘리발,
  2. 므게랏 사람 헤벨, 블론 사람 아히야,
  3. 갈멜 사람 헤스로, 에스배의 아들 나아래,
  4. 나단의 동생 요엘, 하그리의 아들 밉할,
  5. 암몬 사람 셀렉, 요압의 경호병인 베롯 사람 나하래,
  1. Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,
  2. Uriah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ahlai,
  3. Adina the son of Shiza the Reubenite, a chief of the Reubenites, and thirty with him,
  4. Hanan the son of Maacah and Joshaphat the Mithnite,
  5. Uzzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Jeiel the sons of Hotham the Aroerite,
  1. 이델 사람 이라와 가렙,
  2. 헷 사람 우리아, 알래의 아들 사밧,
  3. 르우벤 지파의 족장이며 시사의 아들인 아디나와 그와 함께 한 30명의 군 지휘관들,
  4. 마아가의 아들 하난, 미덴 사람 요사밧,
  5. 아스드랏 사람 웃시야, 호담의 아들인 아로엘 사람 사마와 여이엘,
  1. Jediael the son of Shimri and Joha his brother, the Tizite,
  2. Eliel the Mahavite and Jeribai and Joshaviah, the sons of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
  3. Eliel and Obed and Jaasiel the Mezobaite.
  1. 시므리의 아들 여디아엘과 그의 동생인 디스 사람 요하,
  2. 마하위 사람 엘리엘, 엘라암의 아들인 여리배와 요사위야, 모압 사람 이드마,
  3. 그리고 엘리엘과 오벳과 므소바 사람 야아시엘이었다.
 
 
  1. Now these are the ones who came to David at Ziklag, while he was still restricted because of Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who helped him in war.
  2. They were equipped with bows, using both the right hand and the left to sling stones and to shoot arrows from the bow; they were Saul's kinsmen from Benjamin.
  3. The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth, and Beracah and Jehu the Anathothite,
  4. and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty. Then Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, Jozabad the Gederathite,
  5. Eluzai, Jerimoth, Bealiah, Shemariah, Shephatiah the Haruphite,
  1. 다윗이 사울을 피해 시글락에 숨어 있을 때 용감한 군인들이 그에게 많이 가담하였다.
  2. 이들은 모두 활을 잘 쏘고 물맷돌도 잘 던지며 왼손과 오른손을 다 같이 마음대로 사용할 수 있는 군인들로서 사울과 마찬가지로 베냐민 지파 사람들이었다.
  3. 그들의 대장은 기브아 사람인 스마아의 아들 아히에셀이며 그 밖의 다른 군인들은 아히에셀의 동생 요아스, 아스마웻의 아들 여시엘과 벨렛, 그리고 브라가, 아나돗 사람 예후,
  4. 기브온 사람으로 30명 용장의 지도자 중 한 사람인 이스마야, 그리고 예레미야, 야하시엘, 요하난, 그데라 사람 요사밧,
  5. 엘루새, 여리못, 브아랴, 스마랴, 하룹 사람 스바댜,
  1. Elkanah, Isshiah, Azarel, Joezer, Jashobeam, the Korahites,
  2. and Joelah and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
  3. From the Gadites there came over to David in the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men trained for war, who could handle shield and spear, and whose faces were like the faces of lions, and they were as swift as the gazelles on the mountains.
  4. Ezer was the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
  5. Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
  1. 고라 사람들인 엘가나, 잇시야, 아사렐, 요이셀, 야소브암,
  2. 그리고 그돌 사람인 여로함의 아들 요엘라와 스바댜였다.
  3. 다윗이 광야 요새에 있을 때 갓 지파 중에서 용감한 군인들이 그에게 많이 가담하였다. 그들은 방패와 창을 능숙하게 쓰는 자들로서 얼굴은 사자처럼 날카롭게 생겼고 빠르기는 산의 사슴과도 같았다.
  4. 이들의 대장은 에셀인데 나머지 사람들을 지휘 계통순으로 나열하면 오바댜, 엘리압
  5. 미스만나, 예레미야,
  1. Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
  2. Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
  3. Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
  4. These of the sons of Gad were captains of the army; he who was least was equal to a hundred and the greatest to a thousand.
  5. These are the ones who crossed the Jordan in the first month when it was overflowing all its banks and they put to flight all those in the valleys, both to the east and to the west.
  1. 앗대, 엘리엘,
  2. 요하난, 엘사밧,
  3. 예레미야, 그리고 제일 마지막은 막반내였다.
  4. 이들 갓 지파 사람 중 어떤 이들은 군대 고급 장교가 되어 1,000명의 부하를 거느렸고 또 어떤 이들은 하급 장교로서 100명의 부하를 거느렸다.
  5. 이 사람들은 강물이 넘쳐 흐르는 때인 1월에 요단강을 건너 그 강의 동서 유역에 살던 사람들을 쫓아 버리고 그 땅을 점령하였다.
