이사야 3:1-5:30

 하나님께서는 유다와 예루살렘의 죄악으로 인해 백성들이 심판을 받고 슬퍼하며 통곡할 것이라고 하셨다. 그러나 예루살렘에 남아 있는 자들은 하나님의 구원을 받게 될 것이라고 하셨다. 또한, 이스라엘을 포도원으로 비유하면서 들포도를 맺는 유다인들의 불신앙에 대하여 하나님의 심판이 있을 것이라고 엄중히 경고하셨다.
  
  이스라엘의 죄악과 심판(3:1-4:6)    
 
  1. For behold, the Lord GOD of hosts is going to remove from Jerusalem and Judah Both supply and support, the whole supply of bread And the whole supply of water;
  2. The mighty man and the warrior, The judge and the prophet, The diviner and the elder,
  3. The captain of fifty and the honorable man, The counselor and the expert artisan, And the skillful enchanter.
  4. And I will make mere lads their princes, And capricious children will rule over them,
  5. And the people will be oppressed, Each one by another, and each one by his neighbor; The youth will storm against the elder And the inferior against the honorable.
  1. 이제 전능하신 여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다가 의존하고 있는 양식과 물의 공급을 끊어 버리고
  2. 영웅과 군인, 재판관과 예언자, 점장이와 장로,
  3. 군 지휘관과 고위 관리, 정치가와 고문, 그리고 모든 기술자와 마술사들을 다 죽이실 것이다.
  4. 여호와께서는 나라를 아이들에게 맡겨 다스리게 하실 것이며
  5. 백성들은 서로를 못살게 굴고 자기 이웃을 해치며 젊은 사람이 노인을 공경하지 않고 천한 사람이 귀한 사람을 무시할 것이다.
  1. When a man lays hold of his brother in his father's house, saying, "You have a cloak, you shall be our ruler, And these ruins will be under your charge,"
  2. He will protest on that day, saying, "I will not be your healer, For in my house there is neither bread nor cloak; You should not appoint me ruler of the people."
  3. For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen, Because their speech and their actions are against the LORD, To rebel against His glorious presence.
  4. The expression of their faces bears witness against them, And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves.
  5. Say to the righteous that it will go well with them, For they will eat the fruit of their actions.
  1. 그때 어떤 사람이 자기 형제를 붙들고 '적어도 너에게는 입을 옷이라도 있으니 네가 우리의 지도자가 되어 이 어려운 난국을 타개하라.' 하고 부탁하면
  2. '아니야, 나는 너희를 도울 수 없어. 내 집에는 양식도 없고 의복도 없으니 너희는 나를 너희 지도자로 삼지 말아라.' 하고 그가 대답할 것이다.
  3. 이제 예루살렘이 망하고 유다가 쓰러지게 되었다. 그들이 말과 행위로 여호와를 대적하며 영광의 하나님을 모욕하고 있다.
  4. 그들의 얼굴 표정이 바로 그들의 죄를 말해 주고 있다. 그들의 숨길 수 없는 죄가 소돔 사람들의 죄와 같아서 이제 패망할 운명에 처했으니 이것은 그들이 스스로 불러들인 재앙이다.
  5. 의로운 사람들은 모든 일에 성공할 것이며 자기들이 수고한 댓가를 충분히 받을 것이나
  1. Woe to the wicked! It will go badly with him, For what he deserves will be done to him.
  2. O My people! Their oppressors are children, And women rule over them O My people! Those who guide you lead you astray And confuse the direction of your paths.
  3. The LORD arises to contend, And stands to judge the people.
  4. The LORD enters into judgment with the elders and princes of His people, "It is you who have devoured the vineyard; The plunder of the poor is in your houses.
  5. "What do you mean by crushing My people And grinding the face of the poor?" Declares the Lord GOD of hosts.
  1. 악한 사람들은 망할 수밖에 없으니 그들이 행한 일에 대한 댓가를 치러야 하기 때문이다.
  2. 나의 백성들아, 젊은 아이들과 같은 철없는 자들이 너희를 괴롭히고 여자처럼 연약한 자들이 너희를 다스리고 있다. 너희 지도자들이 너희를 잘못 인도하여 너희를 파멸의 길로 이끌어 가고 있다.
  3. 여호와께서 자기 백성을 심판하시려고 법정에 서신다.
  4. 여호와께서 자기 백성의 지도자들을 이렇게 심판하신다. '너희는 내 포도원을 못 쓰게 만들었고 너희 집에는 가난한 사람들에게서 빼앗은 물건이 가득하다.
  5. 어째서 너희가 내 백성을 짓밟고 가난한 사람들을 무자비하게 착취하느냐?'
  1. Moreover, the LORD said, "Because the daughters of Zion are proud And walk with heads held high and seductive eyes, And go along with mincing steps And tinkle the bangles on their feet,
  2. Therefore the Lord will afflict the scalp of the daughters of Zion with scabs, And the LORD will make their foreheads bare."
  3. In that day the Lord will take away the beauty of their anklets, headbands, crescent ornaments,
  4. dangling earrings, bracelets, veils,
  5. headdresses, ankle chains, sashes, perfume boxes, amulets,
  1. 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. '예루살렘 여자들이 교만하여 목에 잔뜩 힘을 주고 으스대며 아무 데서나 남자들에게 추파를 던지고 발목에는 딸랑딸랑 소리나는 장식품까지 달아 아기족거리며 걷는다.
  2. 그러므로 내가 그들의 머리의 딱지가 생기게 하여 대머리가 되게 하겠다.'
  3. 그 날에 여호와께서 그들이 자랑스럽게 여기는 장식품을 모조리 빼앗아 버리실 것이다. 발목고리, 머리띠, 반달 모양의 목걸이
  4. 귀고리, 팔찌, 베일,
  5. 모자, 발목사슬, 장식띠, 향수병, 호신용 부적,
  1. finger rings, nose rings,
  2. festal robes, outer tunics, cloaks, money purses,
  3. hand mirrors, undergarments, turbans and veils.
  4. Now it will come about that instead of sweet perfume there will be putrefaction; Instead of a belt, a rope; Instead of well-set hair, a plucked-out scalp; Instead of fine clothes, a donning of sackcloth; And branding instead of beauty.
  5. Your men will fall by the sword And your mighty ones in battle.
  1. 반지, 코고리,
  2. 예복과 겉옷과 어깨 망토, 지갑,
  3. 손거울, 부드러운 속옷, 머리 수건, 목도리를 제거하실 것이다.
  4. 그때에 썩은 냄새가 향을 대신하고 노끈이 띠를, 대머리가 아름다운 머리털을, 굵은 삼베 옷이 화려한 옷을, 추하고 수치스러운 것이 아름다움을 대신할 것이다.
  5. 너희 남자들은 용사들까지 전쟁으로 죽을 것이며
  1. And her gates will lament and mourn, And deserted she will sit on the ground.
  1. 백성들은 슬퍼하고 통곡하며 예루살렘은 잿더미가 되어 황폐할 것이다.
 
 
  1. For seven women will take hold of one man in that day, saying, "We will eat our own bread and wear our own clothes, only let us be called by your name; take away our reproach!"
  2. In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth will be the pride and the adornment of the survivors of Israel.
  3. It will come about that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy--everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem.
  4. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and purged the bloodshed of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning,
  5. then the LORD will create over the whole area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, even smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.
  1. 그 때에 일곱 여자가 남자 하나를 붙들고 이렇게 말할 것이다. '의식주 문제는 우리가 해결할 테니 제발 당신이 우리 남편이라는 이름만 좀 빌려 주어 우리가 노처녀라는 수치를 면하게 해 주세요.'
  2. 그 날에 여호와의 가지가 아름답고 영화로울 것이며 그 땅의 열매는 살아 남은 이스라엘 백성의 자랑과 영광이 될 것이다.
  3. 그리고 예루살렘에 남아 생존자 명단에 기록된 사람들은 거룩한 백성이라고 불려질 것이다.
  4. 여호와께서 심판하고 소멸하는 영으로 예루살렘의 더러움을 씻어 버리고 그 곳에 뿌려진 죄악의 피를 정결하게 하실 것이다.
  5. 그때 여호와께서 시온산과 거기에 모인 사람들 위에 낮에는 구름과 연기를 만들고 밤에는 밝은 불꽃을 만들어 그 모든 영광으로 그 땅을 덮어 보호하실 것이다.
  1. There will be a shelter to give shade from the heat by day, and refuge and protection from the storm and the rain.
  1. 여호와의 영광이 낮의 더위를 피하는 그늘이 되고 폭풍우를 피하는 피난처가 될 것이다.
 
  심판의 저주(5:1-5:30)    
 
  1. Let me sing now for my well-beloved A song of my beloved concerning His vineyard. My well-beloved had a vineyard on a fertile hill.
  2. He dug it all around, removed its stones, And planted it with the choicest vine And He built a tower in the middle of it And also hewed out a wine vat in it; Then He expected it to produce good grapes, But it produced only worthless ones.
  3. "And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, Judge between Me and My vineyard.
  4. "What more was there to do for My vineyard that I have not done in it? Why, when I expected it to produce good grapes did it produce worthless ones?
  5. "So now let Me tell you what I am going to do to My vineyard: I will remove its hedge and it will be consumed; I will break down its wall and it will become trampled ground.
  1. 내가 사랑하는 자와 그의 포도원에 대하여 노래하리라. 내 사랑하는 자에게는 비옥한 야산에 포도원이 있어
  2. 땅을 파서 돌을 없애고 제일 좋은 포도나무를 심었네. 그가 그 곳에 망대를 세우며 포도즙 짜는 틀을 만들어 놓고 좋은 포도가 맺히기를 기다렸으나 쓸모없는 포도가 맺혔구나.
  3. 그래서 내 사랑하는 자가 말한다. '예루살렘과 유다에 사는 사람들아, 너희는 나와 내 포도원 사이를 심판하라.
  4. 내가 내 포도원을 위해서 이 이상 더 어떻게 하란 말인가? 내가 좋은 포도를 기대했는데 어째서 쓸모없는 포도가 맺혔는가?
  5. 이제 내가 내 포도원을 어떻게 해야 할지 너희에게 말하겠다. 내가 울타리를 헐어 내 포도원을 짐승에게 짓밟히는 풀밭이 되게 할 것이며
  1. "I will lay it waste; It will not be pruned or hoed, But briars and thorns will come up I will also charge the clouds to rain no rain on it."
  2. For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel And the men of Judah His delightful plant Thus He looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed; For righteousness, but behold, a cry of distress.
  3. Woe to those who add house to house and join field to field, Until there is no more room, So that you have to live alone in the midst of the land!
  4. In my ears the LORD of hosts has sworn, "Surely, many houses shall become desolate, Even great and fine ones, without occupants.
  5. "For ten acres of vineyard will yield only one bath of wine, And a homer of seed will yield but an ephah of grain."
  1. 내가 가지를 치거나 북을 돋우지 않고 찔레나 가시가 그대로 자라게 하여 황무지가 되게 할 것이며 내가 또 구름에게 비를 내리지 말라고 명령할 것이다.'
  2. 이스라엘은 전능하신 여호와의 포도원이며 유다 사람은 그가 심은 포도나무이다. 여호와께서는 그들이 공정하고 옳은 일 하기를 바랐으나 그들은 살인을 일삼았으며, 여호와께서 선한 일을 기대하셨으나 고통당하는 자들의 부르짖는 소리뿐이었다.
  3. 집과 땅을 계속 사들여 다른 사람이 살 공간도 남기지 않고 혼자 살려고 하는 사람에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  4. 전능하신 여호와께서 나에게 이런 말씀을 들려 주셨다. '크고 호화로운 수많은 집들이 폐허가 되어 사람이 살지 않을 것이며
  5. 약 40,000평방미터의 포도원에 포도주가 겨우 22리터밖에 나오지 않을 것이요 한 말의 씨를 뿌려도 곡식은 한 되밖에 나오지 않을 것이다.'
  1. Woe to those who rise early in the morning that they may pursue strong drink, Who stay up late in the evening that wine may inflame them!
  2. Their banquets are accompanied by lyre and harp, by tambourine and flute, and by wine; But they do not pay attention to the deeds of the LORD, Nor do they consider the work of His hands.
  3. Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; And their honorable men are famished, And their multitude is parched with thirst.
  4. Therefore Sheol has enlarged its throat and opened its mouth without measure; And Jerusalem's splendor, her multitude, her din of revelry and the jubilant within her, descend into it.
  5. So the common man will be humbled and the man of importance abased, The eyes of the proud also will be abased.
  1. 아침 일찍부터 일어나 독주를 따라 마시며 밤이 깊도록 술로 세월을 보내는 자에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  2. 그들은 연회석에 수금과 비파와 소고와 피리, 그리고 술을 갖춰 놓았으나 여호와의 일에는 무관심하고 그가 하신 일은 생각지도 않는다.
  3. 그러므로 내 백성은 무지때문에 포로로 잡혀갈 것이며 그들의 지도자들은 굶어서 죽을 것이요 일반 백성은 목말라 죽을 것이다.
  4. 무덤이 입을 크게 벌려 예루살렘의 귀족들과 술로 흥청거리며 떠들어대는 많은 백성을 삼켜 버릴 것이다.
  5. 천한 자도 귀한 자도 다 낮아지고 교만한 자도 낮아질 것이지만
  1. But the LORD of hosts will be exalted in judgment, And the holy God will show Himself holy in righteousness.
  2. Then the lambs will graze as in their pasture, And strangers will eat in the waste places of the wealthy.
  3. Woe to those who drag iniquity with the cords of falsehood, And sin as if with cart ropes;
  4. Who say, "Let Him make speed, let Him hasten His work, that we may see it; And let the purpose of the Holy One of Israel draw near And come to pass, that we may know it!"
  5. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
  1. 전능하신 여호와는 옳은 일을 행하심으로 그의 위대함을 보이시고 자기 백성을 심판하심으로 그의 거룩함을 나타내실 것이다.
  2. 그 때에는 어린 양들이 폐허 가운데서 풀을 뜯어 먹을 것이며 이방인들이 황폐한 부자들의 땅에서 먹을 것이다.
  3. 거짓의 줄로 죄를 끌고 다니며 수레처럼 악을 끌고 다니는 자에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  4. 이들은 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분을 조롱하며 이렇게 말한다. '여호와여, 속히 우리를 벌하소서. 우리는 당신이 계획대로 일을 수행할 수 있는지 보고 싶습니다.'
  5. 악을 선하다 하고 선을 악하다 하며, 어둠을 빛으로 바꾸고 빛을 어둠으로 바꾸며, 쓴 것을 달게 하고 단 것을 쓰게 하는 자들에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  1. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes And clever in their own sight!
  2. Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine And valiant men in mixing strong drink,
  3. Who justify the wicked for a bribe, And take away the rights of the ones who are in the right!
  4. Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes stubble And dry grass collapses into the flame, So their root will become like rot and their blossom blow away as dust; For they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
  5. On this account the anger of the LORD has burned against His people, And He has stretched out His hand against them and struck them down And the mountains quaked, and their corpses lay like refuse in the middle of the streets For all this His anger is not spent, But His hand is still stretched out.
  1. 스스로 지혜롭고 영리하다고 생각하는 자들에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  2. 배짱 좋게 독주를 겁 없이 마구 퍼마시는 술고래들에게 화가 있을 것이다.
  3. 그들은 뇌물을 받고 범죄한 사람을 놓아 주며 죄 없는 사람을 감옥에 가둔다.
  4. 그러므로 지푸라기와 마른 풀이 불에 타서 소멸되듯이 그들의 뿌리가 썩고 꽃이 시들어 티끌처럼 날아가 버릴 것이다. 이것은 그들이 전능하신 여호와의 율법을 버리고 이스라엘의 거룩하신 하나님의 말씀을 무시하였기 때문이다.
  5. 그러므로 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 분노하시고 손을 들어 그들을 치셨다. 산들이 진동하고 그들의 시체가 거리의 쓰레기처럼 버려져도 여호와의 분노는 그치지 않을 것이며 그 손도 거두지 않으실 것이다.
  1. He will also lift up a standard to the distant nation, And will whistle for it from the ends of the earth; And behold, it will come with speed swiftly.
  2. No one in it is weary or stumbles, None slumbers or sleeps; Nor is the belt at its waist undone, Nor its sandal strap broken.
  3. Its arrows are sharp and all its bows are bent; The hoofs of its horses seem like flint and its chariot wheels like a whirlwind.
  4. Its roaring is like a lioness, and it roars like young lions; It growls as it seizes the prey And carries it off with no one to deliver it.
  5. And it will growl over it in that day like the roaring of the sea If one looks to the land, behold, there is darkness and distress; Even the light is darkened by its clouds.
  1. 그가 멀리 있는 나라들에게 신호를 보내 그들을 땅 끝에서부터 오게 하실 것이다. 그들이 예루살렘을 향해 돌진해 올 것이나
  2. 그들 중에 피곤하여 넘어지는 자가 없고 조는 자나 자는 자도 없을 것이며 허리띠가 풀리거나 신발끈에 끊어진 자도 없을 것이다.
  3. 그들의 화살은 날카롭고 활은 당겨진 채로 있으며 그들의 말굽은 부싯돌처럼 단단하고 그들의 전차바퀴는 회오리바람 같을 것이다.
  4. 그들이 무서운 소리를 지르며 사자가 먹이를 덮쳐 움켜가듯이 내 백성을 잡아 끌고 갈 것이나 그들을 구해 줄 자가 없을 것이다.
  5. 그날에 그들이 바다의 성난 파도처럼 이스라엘을 향해 소리를 지를 것이니 사람이 그 땅을 바라보면 슬픔과 고통뿐이요 빛은 구름에 가려 어두울 것이다.
 
  촉범(觸犯, 3:8)  해서는 안될 일을 행함, 주님이 뻔히 보고 계신 앞에서 범죄한다는 의미
