다니엘 8:1-9:27

 벨사살 왕 3년에 다니엘은 숫양과 수염소 및 작은 뿔의 환상을 보고 천사 가브리엘로부터 그 환상에 대한 해석을 들었다. 다리오 왕 원년에 이스라엘의 포로 기간이 70년이라 기록된 예레미야 예언의 책을 본 다니엘은 그 연수가 되었다는 것을 깨닫고 민족을 위해 금식하며 기도하였다. 이 기도 중에 다니엘은 ‘70이레’의 예언을 받았다.
  
  다니엘의 두번째 환상(8:1-8:27)    
 
  1. In the third year of the reign of Belshazzar the king a vision appeared to me, Daniel, subsequent to the one which appeared to me previously.
  2. I looked in the vision, and while I was looking I was in the citadel of Susa, which is in the province of Elam; and I looked in the vision and I myself was beside the Ulai Canal.
  3. Then I lifted my eyes and looked, and behold, a ram which had two horns was standing in front of the canal. Now the two horns were long, but one was longer than the other, with the longer one coming up last.
  4. I saw the ram butting westward, northward, and southward, and no other beasts could stand before him nor was there anyone to rescue from his power, but he did as he pleased and magnified himself.
  5. While I was observing, behold, a male goat was coming from the west over the surface of the whole earth without touching the ground; and the goat had a conspicuous horn between his eyes.
  1. 벨사살왕 3년에 나 다니엘은 두 번째 환상을 보게 되었다.
  2. 그 환상에서 나는 엘람도의 수산성 곁에 있는 을래 강변에 서 있었다.
  3. 내가 눈을 들어보니 두 개의 뿔을 가진 수양 한 마리가 강가에 서 있었다. 그 수양의 두 뿔은 모두 길었으나 나중에 난 뿔이 먼저 난 뿔보다 더 길었다.
  4. 내가 보니 그 수양이 뿔로 서쪽과 북쪽과 남쪽을 들이받았다. 그러나 그것을 당할 짐승이 없고 그 희생자들을 구출할 자가 없으므로 그것이 제 마음대로 행하며 대단한 여세를 과시하였다.
  5. 내가 이것을 생각하고 있을 때 갑자기 수염소 한 마리가 서쪽에서 달려나와 온 땅을 누비며 다녔는데 너무 빨라 그 발이 땅에 닿지 않을 정도였다. 이 수염소는 눈과 눈 사이에 아주 큰 뿔 하나가 있었다.
  1. He came up to the ram that had the two horns, which I had seen standing in front of the canal, and rushed at him in his mighty wrath.
  2. I saw him come beside the ram, and he was enraged at him; and he struck the ram and shattered his two horns, and the ram had no strength to withstand him. So he hurled him to the ground and trampled on him, and there was none to rescue the ram from his power.
  3. Then the male goat magnified himself exceedingly. But as soon as he was mighty, the large horn was broken; and in its place there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
  4. Out of one of them came forth a rather small horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the Beautiful Land.
  5. It grew up to the host of heaven and caused some of the host and some of the stars to fall to the earth, and it trampled them down.
  1. 그것이 내가 강가에서 본 두 뿔의 수양에게로 무섭게 달려가더니
  2. 그 수양을 맹렬히 공격하여 그 두 뿔을 꺾어 버렸다. 수양은 그것을 대적할 만한 힘이 없어 땅에 쓰러지고 짓밟혔으나 그것을 구해 줄 자가 아무도 없었다.
  3. 그 수염소는 거만을 피우며 점점 강력해졌으나 그 위세가 절정에 달했을 때 갑자기 그 큰 뿔이 꺾이고 그 자리에 독특하게 생긴 뿔 네 개가 하늘 사방으로 뻗어 나왔다.
  4. 그 중 한 뿔에서 또 작은 뿔 하나가 나와 남쪽과 동쪽과 이스라엘 땅을 향하여 아주 크게 자라더니
  5. 그 세력이 하늘의 군대를 공격할 만큼 강해져 그 군대와 별 중에 몇을 땅에 던져 짓밟고
  1. It even magnified itself to be equal with the Commander of the host; and it removed the regular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down.
  2. And on account of transgression the host will be given over to the horn along with the regular sacrifice; and it will fling truth to the ground and perform its will and prosper.
  3. Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, "How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, while the transgression causes horror, so as to allow both the holy place and the host to be trampled?"
  4. He said to me, "For 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the holy place will be properly restored."
  5. When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it; and behold, standing before me was one who looked like a man.
  1. 하늘의 군대 사령관을 대적하며 그에게 매일 드리는 제사를 없애고 그의 성전을 헐어 버렸다.
  2. 백성들이 매일 드리는 제사를 드리지 않으며 범죄하게 되자 진리는 땅에 짓밟혔고 그 뿔은 자기 마음대로 행하며 하는 일마다 성공하였다.
  3. 그때 내가 들으니 한 천사가 다른 천사에게 이렇게 물었다. '환상에서 나타난 이 일들이 언제까지 계속될 것이며 범죄하는 일이 매일 드리는 제사를 언제까지 대신할 것인가? 하늘의 군대와 성전이 언제까지 짓밟힐 것인가?'
  4. 그러자 그 천사는 '그런 일은 2,300일 동안 계속될 것이며 그 후에야 성전이 복구될 것이다.' 하고 대답하였다.
  5. 나 다니엘이 이 환상을 보고 그 뜻을 알려고 할 때 갑자기 사람 같은 형체가 내 앞에 나타났다.
  1. And I heard the voice of a man between the banks of Ulai, and he called out and said, "Gabriel, give this man an understanding of the vision."
  2. So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; but he said to me, "Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end."
  3. Now while he was talking with me, I sank into a deep sleep with my face to the ground; but he touched me and made me stand upright.
  4. He said, "Behold, I am going to let you know what will occur at the final period of the indignation, for it pertains to the appointed time of the end.
  5. "The ram which you saw with the two horns represents the kings of Media and Persia.
  1. 그때 나는 을래 강변에서 '가브리엘아, 그 환상의 뜻을 이 사람에게 말해 주어라.' 하는 음성을 듣게 되었다.
  2. 그가 가까이 와서 내 앞에 섰을 때 나는 너무 두려워서 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드렸다 그러자 그가 나에게 '사람의 아들아. 그 뜻을 깨달아 알아라. 이 환상은 세상의 종말에 관한 것이다.' 하고 말하였다.
  3. 그가 나에게 말하는 동안 나는 의식을 잃은 채 땅에 엎드려 있었으나 그가 나를 어루만지며 일으켜 세우고
  4. 이렇게 말하였다. '하나님이 마지막으로 진노하실 때 일어날 일을 너에게 알려 주겠다. 이 환상은 역사의 마지막 사건에 관한 것이다.
  5. 네가 본 그 수양의 두 뿔은 메디아와 페르시아의 왕들이고
  1. "The shaggy goat represents the kingdom of Greece, and the large horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
  2. "The broken horn and the four horns that arose in its place represent four kingdoms which will arise from his nation, although not with his power.
  3. "In the latter period of their rule, When the transgressors have run their course, A king will arise, Insolent and skilled in intrigue.
  4. "His power will be mighty, but not by his own power, And he will destroy to an extraordinary degree And prosper and perform his will; He will destroy mighty men and the holy people.
  5. "And through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence; And he will magnify himself in his heart, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.
  1. 털이 많은 그 수염소는 그리이스를 가리키며 그 수염소의 두 눈 사이에 난 큰 뿔은 그 나라의 첫번째 왕이다.
  2. 그 뿔이 꺾이고 대신 나온 네 뿔은 그 나라에서 일어날 네 나라를 가리킨다. 그 어느 것도 처음 나라보다 강하지 못할 것이다.
  3. 그 네 나라가 멸망할 때쯤 되어 많은 사람들이 도덕적으로 타락할 것이며 그때 아주 엄격하고 책략에 능한 왕이 일어날 것이다.
  4. 그는 대단히 강력할 것이지만 그 권세는 자기 힘으로 된 것이 아니다. 그가 장차 무자비하게 파괴하고 자기 마음대로 행할 것이며 하는 일마다 성공하여 강한 자들과 거룩한 백성을 멸할 것이다.
  5. 그는 기만술에 능하여 속이는 데 성공할 것이며 자신을 대단히 자랑스럽게 여길 것이다. 사람들이 안전하다고 생각하고 있을 때 그가 수많은 사람을 죽이고 만왕의 왕을 대적할 것이나 그는 사람의 손 하나 닿지 않아도 멸망할 것이다.
  1. "The vision of the evenings and mornings Which has been told is true; But keep the vision secret, For it pertains to many days in the future."
  2. Then I, Daniel, was exhausted and sick for days Then I got up again and carried on the king's business; but I was astounded at the vision, and there was none to explain it.
  1. 이미 너에게 설명한 대로 2,300일이 지나야 성전이 회복될 것이라는 그 환상은 분명히 이루어 질 것이다. 그러나 이것은 오랜 후의 일이므로 너는 이 비밀을 아무에게도 말하지 말고 혼자 간직하여라.'
  2. 그리고서 나 다니엘은 실신 상태에 빠져 여러 날을 앓다가 그 후에 일어나 왕이 맡긴 직무를 수행하였다. 그러나 나는 그 환상을 보고 무척 놀랐으며 그 뜻을 이해할 수가 없었다.
 
  다니엘의 기도(9:1-9:27)    
 
  1. In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of Median descent, who was made king over the kingdom of the Chaldeans--
  2. in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, observed in the books the number of the years which was revealed as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet for the completion of the desolations of Jerusalem, namely, seventy years.
  3. So I gave my attention to the Lord God to seek Him by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes.
  4. I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed and said, "Alas, O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and lovingkindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments,
  5. we have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.
  1. 크셀크세스의 아들인 메디아 사람 다리우스가 바빌로니아를 통치하던 원년에
  2. 나 다니엘은 예언자 예레미야의 책을 통해 여호와께서 그에게 말씀하신 대로 예루살렘이 70년 동안 황폐할 것이라는 것을 알게 되었다.
  3. 그래서 나는 굵은 삼베 옷을 입고 잿더미에 앉아 금식하며 주 하나님께 간절히 기도하였다.
  4. 그때 나는 나의 하나님 여호와께 나와 내 백성의 죄를 고백하며 이렇게 기도하였다. '여호와여, 주는 크시고 두려워할 하나님이십니다. 주께서는 주를 사랑하고 주의 명령에 순종하는 자들에게 항상 주의 약속을 지키시며 한결같은 사랑을 베푸시는 분이십니다.
  5. 그러나 우리는 범죄하였습니다. 우리는 악을 행하고 못된 짓을 하였으며 주의 명령을 거역하였고 주께서 보여 주신 바른 길을 떠났습니다.
  1. "Moreover, we have not listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our princes, our fathers and all the people of the land.
  2. "Righteousness belongs to You, O Lord, but to us open shame, as it is this day--to the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those who are nearby and those who are far away in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of their unfaithful deeds which they have committed against You.
  3. "Open shame belongs to us, O Lord, to our kings, our princes and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
  4. "To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against Him;
  5. nor have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in His teachings which He set before us through His servants the prophets.
  1. 우리는 또 주의 종 예언자들이 주의 이름으로 우리 왕들과 관리들과 우리 조상들과 모든 백성에게 말한 것을 듣지 않았습니다.
  2. 여호와여, 주는 항상 의로우신 분이시지만 우리는 오늘날 수치를 당하는 사람들이 되었습니다. 유다와 예루살렘에 사는 자들과 여러 나라에 흩어져 사는 모든 이스라엘 사람들이 수치를 당하고 있는 것은 우리가 다 주께 신실하지 못했기 때문입니다.
  3. 이와 같이 우리가 다 주께 범죄하였으므로 우리의 왕들과 관리들과 우리 조상들까지 수치를 당하고 있습니다.
  4. 우리가 비록 주를 거역하였습니다만 우리의 하나님이 되시는 주는 자비로우시고 용서하시는 분이십니다.
  5. 우리 하나님 여호와여, 우리는 주께 순종하지 않았으며 주의 종 예언자들을 통해 우리에게 주신 주의 법을 지키지 않았습니다.
  1. "Indeed all Israel has transgressed Your law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice; so the curse has been poured out on us, along with the oath which is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against Him.
  2. "Thus He has confirmed His words which He had spoken against us and against our rulers who ruled us, to bring on us great calamity; for under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what was done to Jerusalem.
  3. "As it is written in the law of Moses, all this calamity has come on us; yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our iniquity and giving attention to Your truth.
  4. "Therefore the LORD has kept the calamity in store and brought it on us; for the LORD our God is righteous with respect to all His deeds which He has done, but we have not obeyed His voice.
  5. "And now, O Lord our God, who have brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and have made a name for Yourself, as it is this day--we have sinned, we have been wicked.
  1. 모든 이스라엘 사람들이 주의 법을 어기며 주의 말씀에 순종하지 않고 범죄하였으므로 주의 종 모세의 율법책에 기록된 저주가 우리에게 내렸습니다.
  2. 주께서는 우리에게 무서운 재앙을 내리셔서 우리와 우리 통치자들에게 하신 말씀을 이루셨습니다. 예루살렘이 당한 것과 같은 일은 지금까지 세계의 그 어느 곳에서도 일어난 적이 없습니다.
  3. 모세의 율법책에 기록된 대로 이 모든 재앙이 우리에게 내렸으나 우리는 죄를 버리고 주의 진리를 따름으로 우리 하나님 여호와의 은혜를 구하려고 하지 않았습니다.
  4. 그러므로 주께서 준비해 두신 재앙을 우리에게 내리셨습니다. 이것은 우리 하나님 여호와께서 항상 의로운 일을 행하시지만 우리는 주께 순종하지 않았기 때문입니다.
  5. 크신 능력으로 주의 백성을 이집트에서 인도해 내시고 오늘날까지 명성을 떨치고 계시는 우리 하나님 여호와여, 우리가 범죄하였습니다. 악을 행하였습니다.
  1. "O Lord, in accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now Your anger and Your wrath turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all those around us.
  2. "So now, our God, listen to the prayer of Your servant and to his supplications, and for Your sake, O Lord, let Your face shine on Your desolate sanctuary.
  3. "O my God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not presenting our supplications before You on account of any merits of our own, but on account of Your great compassion.
  4. "O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and take action! For Your own sake, O my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people are called by Your name."
  5. Now while I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God,
  1. 주의 의로우신 행위를 따라 주의 분노를 주의 성 예루살렘, 곧 주의 거룩한 산에서 거두소서. 우리와 우리 조상들의 죄 때문에 예루살렘과 주의 백성이 우리 주변의 모든 나라들에게 수모를 당하고 있습니다.
  2. 우리 하나님이시여, 이제 이 종의 간절한 기도를 들으시고 주의 영광을 위해서라도 오랫동안 황폐한 주의 성전을 돌아보소서.
  3. 나의 하나님이시여, 귀를 기울여 들으시고 눈을 떠서 처참한 우리의 상황과 황폐한 주의 성을 보소서. 우리가 주께 간구하는 것은 우리가 옳은 일을 행해서가 아니라 주는 자비로우신 분이시기 때문입니다.
  4. 주여, 우리의 기도를 들으소서. 주여, 우리를 용서하소서. 주여, 우리의 기도를 들으시고 행하소서. 나의 하나님이시여, 주를 위해 지체하지 마소서. 이 성과 이 백성들은 주의 것입니다.'
  5. 이와 같이 내가 기도하며 내 죄와 내 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 고백하고 내 하나님 여호와의 거룩한 산을 위해 간구하고 있을 때
  1. while I was still speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering.
  2. He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding.
  3. "At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision.
  4. "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place.
  5. "So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.
  1. 전에 내가 환상 가운데서 본 가브리엘 천사가 저녁 제사를 드릴 때쯤 되어 내가 있는 곳으로 급히 날아와
  2. 이렇게 말하였다. '다니엘아, 내가 여기에 온 것은 너를 도와 하나님의 계획을 깨닫게 하기 위해서이다.
  3. 네가 기도를 시작한 즉시 하나님이 네 기도에 응답하셨다. 그래서 나는 그것을 너에게 말해 주라는 명령을 받고 여기에 왔다. 너는 하나님의 은총을 입은 자이다. 그러므로 너는 내가 설명할 때 잘 듣고 네가 본 환상의 뜻을 깨달아라.
  4. 하나님이 네 백성과 거룩한 성을 위해 490년간의 기간을 작정해 놓으셨으니 허물이 끝나고 죄가 종식되고 죄악이 용서될 것이며 영원한 의가 확립되고 환상과 예언이 성취되고 가장 거룩한 성전이 다시 봉헌될 것이다.
  5. 이제 너는 깨달아 알아라. 예루살렘을 재건하라는 명령이 내릴 때부터 하나님이 택한 왕이 오실 때까지 49년과 434년이 지날 것이며 그 49년 안에 예루살렘의 거리와 성벽이 재건될 것이나 그 때는 어려움을 당하는 때이다.
  1. "Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.
  2. "And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate."
  1. 그리고 예루살렘이 재건된 때부터 434년이 지난 후에 하나님께서 택한 왕이 죽임을 당할 것이며 장차 한 강력한 왕의 군대가 예루살렘을 침략하여 그 성과 성전을 파괴할 것이다. 하나님이 작정하신 종말이 홍수처럼 밀어닥칠 것이며 끝날까지 전쟁과 파괴가 그칠 날이 없을 것이다.
  2. 그가 장차 많은 사람들과 7년 계약을 맺을 것이며 그 계약 기간의 절반이 지났을 때 그가 유대인들의 제사와 예물을 금지하고 성전을 더럽히며 거기에 흉측한 것을 세울 것이다. 그러나 작정된 종말까지 하나님의 무서운 진노가 그에게 쏟아질 것이다.'
