	스가랴 8:1-9:17 스가랴는 미래에 주어질 이스라엘의 회복에 대한 약속과 함께 금식의 날들이 기쁨과 희락의 절기로 변할 것을 말하였다. 훗날 이방 민족들도 야웨의 은혜를 얻고자 예루살렘에 찾아오게 될 것이라고 예언하였으며, 열국의 심판과 이스라엘의 승리, 그리고 장차 오실 메시아의 사역에 대해 예언하였다.

	금식에 대한 답변(8:1-8:23)

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came, saying,

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'I am exceedingly jealous for Zion, yes, with great wrath I am jealous for her.'

"Thus says the LORD, 'I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age.

'And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets.'

전능하신 여호와께서 다시 말씀하셨다.

'전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 내가 질투와 분노를 느낄 만큼 시온을 사랑한다.

내가 예루살렘에 돌아가서 그 곳에 머물겠다. 사람들이 예루살렘을 '진리의 성'이라 부를 것이며 전능한 나 여호와의 산을 '거룩한 산'이라 부를 것이다.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 예루살렘 길거리에 노인들이 다시 앉을 것이며 모두 나이가 많아 지팡이를 짚고 다닐 것이다.

또 그 거리에는 뛰어노는 소년 소녀들로 가득할 것이다.

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?' declares the LORD of hosts.

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Behold, I am going to save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west;

and I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Let your hands be strong, you who are listening in these days to these words from the mouth of the prophets, those who spoke in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, to the end that the temple might be built.

'For before those days there was no wage for man or any wage for animal; and for him who went out or came in there was no peace because of his enemies, and I set all men one against another.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 그때 남아 있는 백성들에게는 이런 일이 전혀 불가능하게 보일지 모르지만 나에게는 불가능한 것이 아니다.

내가 내 백성을 동방과 서방에서 구출해 내고

그들을 인도하여 예루살렘에 살게 하겠다. 그들은 내 백성이 되고 나는 그들의 하나님이 되어 성실과 정의로 그들을 다스릴 것이다.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 내 성전을 재건하려고 기초 공사를 하던 때에 있었던 예언자들의 말을 지금 듣고 있는 사람들아, 너희는 힘써 성전을 짓도록 하라.

그 공사가 시작되기 전만 해도 사람이나 짐승을 부릴 만한 품값이 없었으며 사람이 자기 원수 때문에 안심하고 나 다닐 수 없었다. 이것은 내가 모든 사람이 서로 치게 하였기 때문이다.

'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' declares the LORD of hosts.

'For there will be peace for the seed: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.

'It will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing Do not fear; let your hands be strong.'

"For thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Just as I purposed to do harm to you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath,' says the LORD of hosts, 'and I have not relented,

so I have again purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah Do not fear!

그러나 이제는 내가 남은 이 백성을 전에 같이 대하지 않겠다.

그들이 평화로운 가운데 씨를 뿌릴 것이며 포도나무가 열매를 맺고 땅이 농산물을 내고 하늘은 이슬을 내릴 것이다. 내가 남은 이 백성에게 이 모든 축복을 누리게 하겠다.

유다와 이스라엘 백성아, 너희가 지금까지 이방 나라들의 저줏거리가 되었으나 이제는 네가 너희를 구원하여 축복의 표본이 되게 하겠다. 그러므로 너희는 두려워하지 말고 용기를 가져라.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 너희 조상들이 나를 노하게 했을 때 내가 그들에게 재앙을 내리기로 작정하고 내 뜻을 돌이키지 않았다.

그러나 이제는 내가 예루살렘과 유다 백성을 축복하기로 작정하였으니 너희는 두려워하지 말아라.

'These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates.

'Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate,' declares the LORD."

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities.

너희가 할 일은 이렇다. : 너희는 서로 진실을 말하고 평화를 위해서 공정한 재판을 하며

서로 해할 음모를 꾸미지 말고 거짓 맹세하기를 좋아하지 말아라. 이 모든 것은 다 내가 미워하는 것이다.'

전능하신 여호와께서 다시 나에게 말씀하셨다.

'4월, 5월, 7월, 10월에 금식이 유다 백성에게 기쁘고 즐거운 축제가 될 것이다. 그러므로 너희는 진실과 평화를 사랑하라.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 온 세계 사람들이 여러 도시에서 예루살렘에 찾아들 때가 있을 것이다.

'The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, "Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts; I will also go."

'So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."'"

한 도시 사람들이 다른 도시 사람들에게 가서 '우리가 즉시 가서 전능하신 여호와를 찾아 그의 은혜를 구하자.' 하면 '그래, 나도 가겠다.' 하고 대답할 것이다.

많은 민족들과 강대국들이 예루살렘에 와서 전능한 나 여호와를 찾아 은혜를 구할 것이다.

전능한 나 여호와가 말한다. 그날에는 언어가 다른 열 명의 외국 사람들이 유대인 한사람의 옷자락을 붙들고 '당신과 함께 가겠소. 우리는 하나님이 당신들과 함께 하신다는 말을 들었소.'하고 말할 것이다.'

	오실 메시아(9:1-9:17)

The burden of the word of the LORD is against the land of Hadrach, with Damascus as its resting place (for the eyes of men, especially of all the tribes of Israel, are toward the LORD),

And Hamath also, which borders on it; Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.

For Tyre built herself a fortress And piled up silver like dust, And gold like the mire of the streets.

Behold, the Lord will dispossess her And cast her wealth into the sea; And she will be consumed with fire.

Ashkelon will see it and be afraid. Gaza too will writhe in great pain; Also Ekron, for her expectation has been confounded. Moreover, the king will perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon will not be inhabited.

여호와께서 하드락 땅과 다마스커스에 형벌의 말씀을 선언하셨다. 이것은 여호와의 눈이 이스라엘뿐만 아니라 온 인류를 지켜보고 계시기 때문이다.

하드락에 인접한 하맛에도 여호와의 형벌이 내릴 것이며 두로와 시돈이 지혜로울지라도 그들에게 형벌이 내릴 것이다.

두로는 자기를 위해 요새를 만들고 은을 티끌같이, 금을 거리의 진흙같이 쌓았다.

그러나 주께서 그의 모든 소유를 빼앗을 것이며 그 부를 바다에 던질 것이므로 그가 소멸될 것이다.

아스글론이 이것을 보고 두려워하며 가사가 괴로와 몸부림칠 것이요 에그론도 그 기대가 무너졌으므로 두려워 떨 것이다. 가사에는 왕이 끊어지고 아스글론에는 주민이 없을 것이며

And a mongrel race will dwell in Ashdod, And I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

And I will remove their blood from their mouth And their detestable things from between their teeth. Then they also will be a remnant for our God, And be like a clan in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite.

But I will camp around My house because of an army, Because of him who passes by and returns; And no oppressor will pass over them anymore, For now I have seen with My eyes.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; And the bow of war will be cut off And He will speak peace to the nations; And His dominion will be from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.

아스돗에는 혼합 민족이 살 것이다. 여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 블레셋 사람의 교만을 꺾어 버리고

그들의 입에서 피를 제하며 그 이빨 사이에서 우상의 제물을 끄집어 내겠다. 살아 남은 자들이 내 백성의 일부가 되어 유다의 지도자처럼 될 것이며 에그론은 여부스 사람같이 될 것이다.

내가 내 집 주변에 진을 쳐서 적군을 막아 그리로 왕래하지 못하게 하겠다. 폭군이 다시는 내 백성을 괴롭히지 못할 것이다. 나는 내 백성이 당하는 고통을 목격하였다.'

시온 사람들아, 크게 기뻐하라. 예루살렘 사람들아, 기쁨으로 외쳐라. 보라, 너희 왕이 너희에게 나아간다 그는 의로우신 분이며 구원을 베푸시는 분이시다! 그가 겸손하여 나귀를 탔으니 어린 나귀, 곧 나귀 새끼이다.

여호와께서 말씀하신다. '내가 에브라임에서 전차를 없애고 예루살렘에서 말을 제거하며 전투용 활을 꺾어 버리겠다. 너희 왕이 온 세상에 평화를 전할 것이요 바다에서 바다까지 다스릴 것이며 유프라테스강에서부터 땅 끝까지 다스릴 것이다.

As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you.

For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; And I will make you like a warrior's sword.

Then the LORD will appear over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning; And the Lord GOD will blow the trumpet, And will march in the storm winds of the south.

The LORD of hosts will defend them And they will devour and trample on the sling stones; And they will drink and be boisterous as with wine; And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin, Drenched like the corners of the altar.

내가 너희와 피로 맺은 계약을 생각해서 너희 갇힌 자들을 물 없는 구덩이에서 구출하겠다.

희망을 가진 포로들아, 너희는 너희 요새로 돌아오너라. 내가 지금 너희에게 말하지만 너희가 당한 고통에 대해서 내가 두 배의 축복으로 갚아 주겠다.

내가 유다를 내 활처럼 사용하고 에브라임을 내 화살처럼 사용할 것이며 시온 사람들을 내 칼처럼 사용하여 그리이스 사람을 치게 하겠다.'

여호와께서 그들 위에 나타나셔서 그 화살을 번개같이 쏘아대실 것이며 주 여호와께서 나팔을 부시고 남방의 폭풍을 타고 나아가실 것이다.

전능하신 여호와께서 자기 백성을 보호하실 것이다. 그들이 자기 원수들을 멸망시키고 발로 짓밟고 술 취한 사람처럼 함성을 지르며 그 원수들을 무자비하게 죽일 것이니 그들의 피가 제물의 피처럼 흘러 제단 모퉁이를 적시듯 땅을 적실 것이다.

And the LORD their God will save them in that day As the flock of His people; For they are as the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land.

For what comeliness and beauty will be theirs! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

그 날에 그들의 하나님 여호와께서 목자가 자기 양떼를 구출하듯 자기 백성을 구원하실 것이므로 그들이 면류관의 보석처럼 여호와의 땅에서 빛날 것이다.

그들의 매력과 아름다움이 얼마나 크겠는가! 곡식과 새 포도주가 풍부하므로 젊은 남녀가 다 건강할 것이다.
