	스가랴 8:1-9:17 스가랴는 미래에 주어질 이스라엘의 회복에 대한 약속과 함께 금식의 날들이 기쁨과 희락의 절기로 변할 것을 말하였다. 훗날 이방 민족들도 야웨의 은혜를 얻고자 예루살렘에 찾아오게 될 것이라고 예언하였으며, 열국의 심판과 이스라엘의 승리, 그리고 장차 오실 메시아의 사역에 대해 예언하였다.

	금식에 대한 답변(8:1-8:23)

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came, saying,

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'I am exceedingly jealous for Zion, yes, with great wrath I am jealous for her.'

"Thus says the LORD, 'I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts will be called the Holy Mountain.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each man with his staff in his hand because of age.

'And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing in its streets.'

만군의 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.

"나 만군의 주가 말한다. 나는 시온을 열렬히 사랑한다. 누구라도 시온을 대적하면 용서하지 못할 만큼 나는 시온을 열렬히 사랑한다.

나 주가 말한다. 내가 시온으로 돌아왔다. 내가 예루살렘에서 살겠다. 예루살렘은 '성실한 도성'이라고 불리고, 나 만군의 주의 산은 '거룩한 산'이라고 불릴 것이다.

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 예루살렘 광장에는 다시, 남녀 노인들이 한가로이 앉아서 쉴 것이며, 사람마다 오래 살아 지팡이를 짚고 다닐 것이다.

어울려서 노는 소년 소녀들이 이 도성의 광장에 넘칠 것이다.

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'If it is too difficult in the sight of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also be too difficult in My sight?' declares the LORD of hosts.

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Behold, I am going to save My people from the land of the east and from the land of the west;

and I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Let your hands be strong, you who are listening in these days to these words from the mouth of the prophets, those who spoke in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, to the end that the temple might be built.

'For before those days there was no wage for man or any wage for animal; and for him who went out or came in there was no peace because of his enemies, and I set all men one against another.

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 그 날이 오면, 살아 남은 백성이 이 일을 보고 놀랄 것이다. 그러나 그것이 나에게야 놀라운 일이겠느냐? 나 만군의 주가 말한다.

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 내가 내 백성을 구해 동쪽 땅과 서쪽 땅에서 구원하여 내겠다.

내가 그들을 데리고 와서, 예루살렘에서 살게 하겠다. 그들은 나의 백성이 될 것이며, 나는 그들의 하나님이 되어 성실과 공의로 다스리겠다.

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 너희는 힘을 내어라! 만군의 주의 집, 곧 성전을 지으려고 기초를 놓던 그 때에 일어난 그 예언자들이 전한 바로 그 말을, 오늘 너희는 듣는다.

그 이전에는 사람이 품삯을 받을 수 없었고, 짐승도 제 몫을 얻을 수 없었다. 해치는 사람들 때문에, 문 밖 출입도 불안하였다. 내가 이웃끼리 서로 대적하게 하였기 때문이다.

'But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,' declares the LORD of hosts.

'For there will be peace for the seed: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.

'It will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you that you may become a blessing Do not fear; let your hands be strong.'

"For thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Just as I purposed to do harm to you when your fathers provoked Me to wrath,' says the LORD of hosts, 'and I have not relented,

so I have again purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah Do not fear!

그러나 이제 살아 남은 이 백성에게는, 내가 이전같이 대하지 않겠다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.

뿌린 씨는 잘 자라며, 포도나무는 열매를 맺고, 땅은 곡식을 내고, 하늘은 이슬을 내릴 것이다. 살아 남은 백성에게, 내가, 이 모든 것을 주어서 누리게 하겠다.

유다 집과 이스라엘 집은 들어라. 이전에는 너희가 모든 민족에게서 저주받는 사람의 표본이었다. 그러나 이제 내가 너희를 구원할 것이니, 너희는 복 받는 사람의 표본이 될 것이다. 두려워하지 말아라! 힘을 내어라!

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 너희 조상들이 나를 노하게 하였을 때에, 나는 너희에게 재앙을 내리기로 작정하고, 또 그 뜻을 돌이키지도 않았다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.

그러나 이제는, 내가 다시 예루살렘과 유다 백성에게 복을 내려 주기로 작정하였으니, 너희는 두려워하지 말아라.

'These are the things which you should do: speak the truth to one another; judge with truth and judgment for peace in your gates.

'Also let none of you devise evil in your heart against another, and do not love perjury; for all these are what I hate,' declares the LORD."

Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'The fast of the fourth, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh and the fast of the tenth months will become joy, gladness, and cheerful feasts for the house of Judah; so love truth and peace.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'It will yet be that peoples will come, even the inhabitants of many cities.

너희가 해야 할 일은 이러하다. 서로 진실을 말하여라. 너희의 성문 법정에서는 참되고 공의롭게 재판하여, 평화를 이루어라.

이웃을 해칠 생각을 서로 마음에 품지 말고, 거짓으로 맹세하기를 좋아하지 말아라. 이 모든 것은, 내가 미워하는 것이다. 나 주가 말한다."

만군의 주님께서 나에게 말씀하셨다.

"나 만군의 주가 말한다. 넷째 달의 금식일과, 다섯째 달의 금식일과, 일곱째 달의 금식일과, 열째 달의 금식일이 바뀌어서, 유다 백성에게 기쁘고 즐겁고 유쾌한 절기가 될 것이다. 너희는 마땅히 성실을 사랑하고, 평화를 사랑해야 한다.

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 이제 곧 세상 여러 나라에서 수많은 민족들과 주민들이 몰려올 것이다.

'The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, "Let us go at once to entreat the favor of the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts; I will also go."

'So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem and to entreat the favor of the LORD.'

"Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'In those days ten men from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you."'"

한 성읍의 주민이 다른 성읍의 주민에게 가서 '어서 가서 만군의 주님께 기도하고, 주님의 은혜를 구하자' 하면, 다른 성읍의 주민들도 저마다 '나도 가겠다' 할 것이다.

수많은 민족과 강대국이, 나 만군의 주에게 기도하여 주의 은혜를 구하려고, 예루살렘으로 올 것이다.

나 만군의 주가 말한다. 그 때가 되면, 말이 다른 이방 사람 열 명이 유다 사람 하나의 옷자락을 붙잡고 '우리가 너와 함께 가겠다. 하나님이 너희와 함께 계신다는 말을 들었다' 하고 말할 것이다."

	오실 메시아(9:1-9:17)

The burden of the word of the LORD is against the land of Hadrach, with Damascus as its resting place (for the eyes of men, especially of all the tribes of Israel, are toward the LORD),

And Hamath also, which borders on it; Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.

For Tyre built herself a fortress And piled up silver like dust, And gold like the mire of the streets.

Behold, the Lord will dispossess her And cast her wealth into the sea; And she will be consumed with fire.

Ashkelon will see it and be afraid. Gaza too will writhe in great pain; Also Ekron, for her expectation has been confounded. Moreover, the king will perish from Gaza, And Ashkelon will not be inhabited.

주님께서 경고하신 말씀이다. 주님의 말씀이 하드락 땅에 내리고, 다마스쿠스에 머문다. 이방 사람들과 이스라엘의 모든 지파들이 주님을 바라본다.

하드락 가까이에 있는 하맛에도, 매우 지혜롭다고 하는 두로와 시돈에도, 그 말씀이 내린다.

두로가 저를 지킬 요새를 짓고, 티끌처럼 은을 긁어 모으고, 길거리의 진흙같이 금을 쌓아 놓았지만,

주님께서 그들을 쫓아내시며 바다에서 떨치던 그의 힘을 깨뜨리시고, 성읍을 불에 태워 멸하실 것이다.

아스글론이 그것을 보고 두려워할 것이며, 가사도 무서워서 벌벌 떨 것이며, 에그론도 희망을 잃고 떨 것이다. 가사에서는, 왕의 대가 끊길 것이고 아스글론에는 사는 사람이 없어질 것이다.

And a mongrel race will dwell in Ashdod, And I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.

And I will remove their blood from their mouth And their detestable things from between their teeth. Then they also will be a remnant for our God, And be like a clan in Judah, And Ekron like a Jebusite.

But I will camp around My house because of an army, Because of him who passes by and returns; And no oppressor will pass over them anymore, For now I have seen with My eyes.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; He is just and endowed with salvation, Humble, and mounted on a donkey, Even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; And the bow of war will be cut off And He will speak peace to the nations; And His dominion will be from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.

아스돗은 낯선 외국인들이 차지할 것이다. 주님께서 말씀하신다. "내가 블레셋의 교만을 꺾겠다.

내가 그들의 입에 묻은 희생제물의 피를 닦아 주고, 그들이 씹는 역겨운 제물을 그 입에서 꺼내 주겠다. 그들 가운데서 남은 자들은, 내 백성이 되어서 유다와 한 가족처럼 되며, 에그론은 여부스 사람처럼 될 것이다.

내가 내 집에 진을 둘러쳐서, 적군이 오가지 못하게 하겠다. 내가 지켜 보고 있으니, 압제자가 내 백성을 침범하지 못할 것이다."

도성 시온아, 크게 기뻐하여라. 도성 예루살렘아, 환성을 올려라. 네 왕이 네게로 오신다. 그는 공의로우신 왕, 구원을 베푸시는 왕이시다. 그는 온순하셔서, 나귀 곧 나귀 새끼인 어린 나귀를 타고 오신다.

"내가 에브라임에서 병거를 없애고, 예루살렘에서 군마를 없애며, 전쟁할 때에 쓰는 활도 꺾으려 한다. 그 왕은 이방 민족들에게 평화를 선포할 것이며, 그의 다스림이 이 바다에서 저 바다까지, 유프라테스 강에서 땅 끝까지 이를 것이다.

As for you also, because of the blood of My covenant with you, I have set your prisoners free from the waterless pit.

Return to the stronghold, O prisoners who have the hope; This very day I am declaring that I will restore double to you.

For I will bend Judah as My bow, I will fill the bow with Ephraim And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece; And I will make you like a warrior's sword.

Then the LORD will appear over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning; And the Lord GOD will blow the trumpet, And will march in the storm winds of the south.

The LORD of hosts will defend them And they will devour and trample on the sling stones; And they will drink and be boisterous as with wine; And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin, Drenched like the corners of the altar.

너에게는 특별히, 너와 나 사이에 피로 맺은 언약이 있으니, 사로잡힌 네 백성을 내가 물 없는 구덩이에서 건져 낼 것이다.

사로잡혔어도 희망을 잃지 않은 사람들아, 이제 요새로 돌아오너라. 오늘도 또 말한다. 내가 네게 두 배로 갚아 주겠다.

유다는 내가 당긴 활이다. 에브라임은 내가 먹인 화살이다. 시온아, 내가 네 자식을 불러 세워서, 그리스의 자식을 치게 하겠다. 내가 너희를 용사의 칼로 삼겠다."

주님께서 그의 백성에게 나타나셔서 그의 화살을 번개처럼 쏘실 것이다. 주 하나님이 나팔을 부시며, 남쪽에서 회리바람을 일으키며 진군하신다.

만군의 주님께서 백성을 보호하실 것이니, 그 백성이 원수를 섬멸하여 무릿매 돌 던지는 자들을 짓밟을 것이다. 백성은 그들의 피를 포도주처럼 마실 것이며, 그들은 피가 가득한 동이와도 같고 피로 흠뻑 젖은 제단 뿔과도 같을 것이다.

And the LORD their God will save them in that day As the flock of His people; For they are as the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land.

For what comeliness and beauty will be theirs! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

그 날에 주 그들의 하나님이 백성을 양 떼같이 여기시고 구원하셔서, 그들을 주님의 땅에 심으시면, 그들은 왕관에 박힌 보석같이 빛날 것이다.

아, 그들이 얼마나 좋고, 얼마나 아름다운가! 총각들은 햇곡식으로 튼튼해지고 처녀들은 새 포도주로 피어날 것이다.
