말라기 3:1-4:6

 말라기는 심판주 메시아의 도래를 예언하면서 하나님의 십일조와 헌물을 도적질한 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 지적하였다. 또한 그는 악인의 번성을 보고 하나님께 불평한 이스라엘 백성의 죄를 책망하면서, 기념책에 기록된 의인은 하나님의 날에 악인과 영원히 구별되어 하나님의 자녀가 될 것임을 예언하였다. 그리고 심판 전에 있을 엘리야의 출현을 예언하였다.
  
  최후의 심판(3:1-4:6)    
 
  1. "Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts.
  2. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap.
  3. "He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the LORD offerings in righteousness.
  4. "Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the LORD as in the days of old and as in former years.
  5. "Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien and do not fear Me," says the LORD of hosts.
  1. "내가 나의 특사를 보내겠다. 그가 나의 갈 길을 닦을 것이다. 너희가 오랫동안 기다린 주가, 문득 자기의 궁궐에 이를 것이다. 너희가 오랫동안 기다린, 그 언약의 특사가 이를 것이다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.
  2. 그러나 그가 이르는 날에, 누가 견디어 내며, 그가 나타나는 때에, 누가 살아 남겠느냐? 그는 금과 은을 연단하는 불과 같을 것이며, 표백하는 잿물과 같을 것이다.
  3. 그는, 은을 정련하여 깨끗하게 하는 정련공처럼, 자리를 잡고 앉아서 레위 자손을 깨끗하게 할 것이다. 금속 정련공이 은과 금을 정련하듯이, 그가 그들을 깨끗하게 하면, 그 레위 자손이 나 주에게 올바른 제물을 드리게 될 것이다.
  4. 유다와 예루살렘의 제물이 옛날처럼, 지난날처럼, 나 주를 기쁘게 할 것이다.
  5. 내가 너희를 심판하러 가겠다. 점 치는 자와, 간음하는 자와, 거짓으로 증언하는 자와, 일꾼의 품삯을 떼어먹는 자와, 과부와 고아를 억압하고 나그네를 학대하는 자와, 나를 경외하지 않는 자들의 잘못을 증언하는 증인으로, 기꺼이 나서겠다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다."
  1. "For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
  2. "From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them Return to Me, and I will return to you," says the LORD of hosts. "But you say, 'How shall we return?'
  3. "Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, 'How have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings.
  4. "You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!
  5. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.
  1. "나 주는 변하지 않는다. 그러므로 너 야곱의 자손아, 너희는 멸망하지 않는다.
  2. 너희 조상 때로부터, 너희는 내 규례를 떠나서 지키지 않았다. 이제 너희는 나에게로 돌아오너라. 나도 너희에게로 돌아가겠다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다. 그러나 너희는 '돌아가려면, 우리가 무엇을 하여야 합니까?' 하고 묻는구나.
  3. 사람이 하나님의 것을 훔치면 되겠느냐? 그런데도 너희는 나의 것을 훔치고서도 '우리가 주님의 무엇을 훔쳤습니까?' 하고 되묻는구나. 십일조와 헌물이 바로 그것이 아니냐!
  4. 너희 온 백성이 나의 것을 훔치니, 너희 모두가 저주를 받는다.
  5. 너희는 온전한 십일조를 창고에 들여 놓아, 내 집에 먹을거리가 넉넉하게 하여라. 이렇게 바치는 일로 나를 시험하여, 내가 하늘 문을 열고서, 너희가 쌓을 곳이 없도록 복을 붓지 않나 보아라. 나 만군의 주의 말이다.
  1. "Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes," says the LORD of hosts.
  2. "All the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land," says the LORD of hosts.
  3. "Your words have been arrogant against Me," says the LORD. "Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against You?'
  4. "You have said, 'It is vain to serve God; and what profit is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked in mourning before the LORD of hosts?
  5. 'So now we call the arrogant blessed; not only are the doers of wickedness built up but they also test God and escape.'"
  1. 나는 너희 땅의 소산물을 해로운 벌레가 먹어 없애지 못하게 하며, 너희 포도밭의 열매가 채 익기 전에 떨어지지 않게 하겠다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.
  2. 너희 땅이 이처럼 비옥하여지므로, 모든 민족이 너희를 복되다고 할 것이다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다."
  3. "너희가 불손한 말로 나를 거역하였다. 나, 주가 말한다. '우리가 무슨 말을 하였기에, 주님을 거역하였다고 하십니까?' 하고 너희는 묻는다.
  4. 너희가 말하기를 '하나님을 섬기는 것은 헛된 일이다. 그의 명령을 지키고, 만군의 주 앞에서 그의 명령을 지키며 죄를 뉘우치고 슬퍼하는 것이 무슨 유익이 있단 말인가?
  5. 이제 보니, 교만한 자가 오히려 복이 있고, 악한 일을 하는 자가 번성하며, 하나님을 시험하는 자가 재앙을 면한다!' 하는구나."
  1. Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name.
  2. "They will be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him."
  3. So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.
  1. 그 때에 주님께서는, 주님을 경외한 사람들이 서로 주고받는 말을 똑똑히 들으셨다. 그 가운데서도 주님을 경외하며, 주님의 이름을 존중하는 사람들을 당신 앞에 있는 비망록에 기록하셨다.
  2. "나 만군의 주가 말한다. 내가 지정한 날에, 그들은 나의 특별한 소유가 되며, 사람이 효도하는 자식을 아끼듯이, 내가 그들을 아끼겠다.
  3. 그 때에야 너희가 다시 의인과 악인을 분별하고, 하나님을 섬기는 자와 섬기지 않는 자를 비로소 분별할 것이다."
 
 
  1. "For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze," says the LORD of hosts, "so that it will leave them neither root nor branch."
  2. "But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and skip about like calves from the stall.
  3. "You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing," says the LORD of hosts.
  4. "Remember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.
  5. "Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.
  1. "나 만군의 주가 말한다. 용광로의 불길같이, 모든 것을 살라 버릴 날이 온다. 모든 교만한 자와 악한 일을 하는 자가 지푸라기같이 타 버릴 것이다. 그 날이 오면, 불이 그들을 살라서, 그 뿌리와 가지를 남김없이 태울 것이다.
  2. 그러나 내 이름을 경외하는 너희에게는, 의로운 해가 떠올라서 치료하는 광선을 발할 것이니 너희는 외양간에서 풀려 난 송아지처럼 뛰어다닐 것이다.
  3. 내가 이 일을 이루는 그 날에, 악한 자들은 너희 발바닥 밑에서 재와 같이 될 것이니, 너희가 그들을 짓밟을 것이다. 나 만군의 주가 말한다.
  4. 너희는 율법, 곧 율례와 법도를 기억하여라. 그것은 내가 호렙 산에서 내 종 모세를 시켜서, 온 이스라엘이 지키도록 이른 것이다.
  5. 주의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에, 내가 너희에게 엘리야 예언자를 보내겠다.
  1. "He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that I will not come and smite the land with a curse."
  1. 그가 아버지의 마음을 자녀에게로 돌이키고, 자녀의 마음을 아버지에게로 돌이킬 것이다. 돌이키지 아니하면, 내가 가서 이 땅에 저주를 내리겠다."
