- But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
- For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
- unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
- treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
- holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.

- 終わりの 日には 困難な 時代がやって 來ることをよく 承知しておきなさい．
- そのときに 人¿は， 自分を 愛する 者， 金を 愛する 者， 大言壯語する 者， 不遜な 者， 神をけがす 者， 兩親に 從わない 者， 感謝することを 知らない 者， 汚れた 者になり，
- 情け 知らずの 者， 和解しない 者， そしる 者， 節制のない 者， 粗暴な 者， 善を 好まない 者になり，
- 裏切る 者， 向こう 見ずな 者， 慢心する 者， 神よりも 快樂を 愛する 者になり，
- 見えるところは 敬 ·であっても， その 實を 否定する 者になるからです． こういう 人¿を 避けなさい．

- For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,
- always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
- Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith.

- こういう 人¿の 中には， 家¿にはいり ¿み， 愚かな 女たちをたぶらかしている 者がいます． その 女たちは， さまざまの 情欲に 引き 回されて 罪に 罪を 重ね，
- いつも 學んではいるが， いつになっても 眞理を 知ることのできない 者たちです．
- また， こういう 人¿は， ちょうど ヤンネ と ヤンブレ が モ ― セ に 逆らったように， 眞理に 逆らうのです． 彼らは 知性の 腐った， 信仰の 失格者です．
- でも， 彼らはもうこれ 以上に 進むことはできません． 彼らの 愚かさは， あのふたりのばあいのように， すべての 人にはっきりわかるからです．

- You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them,
- and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

- また アンテオケ ， イコニオム ， ルステラ で 私にふりかかった 迫害や 苦難にも， よくついて 來てくれました． 何というひどい 迫害に 私は 耐えて 來たことでしょう． しかし， 主はいっさいのことから 私を 救い 出してくださいました．
- 確かに， キリスト · イエス にあって 敬 ·に 生きようと 願う 者はみな， 迫害を 受けます．
- しかし， 惡人や 詐欺師たちは， だましたりだまされたりしながら， ますます 惡に 落ちて 行くのです．
- けれどもあなたは， 學んで 確信したところにとどまっていなさい． あなたは 自分が， どの 人たちからそれを 學んだかを 知っており，
- また， 幼いころから 聖書に 親しんで 來たことを 知っているからです． 聖書はあなたに 知惠を 與えて キリスト · イエス に 對する 信仰による 救いを 受けさせることができるのです．

- All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
- so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

- 聖書はすべて， 神の 靈感によるもので， 敎えと 戒めと 矯正と 義の 訓練とのために 有益です．
