예레미야 49:1-49:39

 하나님께서는 암몬, 에돔, 다메섹, 게달, 엘람 등이 바벨론에 의해 멸망할 것이나 끝날에는 포로에서 돌아오게 하시겠다고 약속하셨다.
  
  열국의 심판(49:1-49:39)    
 
  1. Concerning the sons of Ammon. Thus says the LORD: "Does Israel have no sons? Or has he no heirs? Why then has Malcam taken possession of Gad And his people settled in its cities?
  2. "Therefore behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "That I will cause a trumpet blast of war to be heard Against Rabbah of the sons of Ammon; And it will become a desolate heap, And her towns will be set on fire Then Israel will take possession of his possessors," Says the LORD.
  3. "Wail, O Heshbon, for Ai has been destroyed! Cry out, O daughters of Rabbah, Gird yourselves with sackcloth and lament, And rush back and forth inside the walls; For Malcam will go into exile Together with his priests and his princes.
  4. "How boastful you are about the valleys! Your valley is flowing away, O backsliding daughter Who trusts in her treasures, saying, 'Who will come against me?'
  5. "Behold, I am going to bring terror upon you," Declares the Lord GOD of hosts, "From all directions around you; And each of you will be driven out headlong, With no one to gather the fugitives together.
  1. アモン 人について． 主はこう 仰せられる． 「イスラエル には 子がないのか． 世繼ぎがないのか． なぜ， 彼らの 王が ガド を 所有し， その 民が 町¿に 住んだのか．

  5. 見よ． わたしは 四方からあなたに 恐怖をもたらす． ··万軍の 神， 主の 御告げ． ··あなたがたはみな， 散らされて， 逃げる 者を 集める 者もいない．
  1. "But afterward I will restore The fortunes of the sons of Ammon," Declares the LORD.
  2. Concerning Edom Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Is there no longer any wisdom in Teman? Has good counsel been lost to the prudent? Has their wisdom decayed?
  3. "Flee away, turn back, dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Dedan, For I will bring the disaster of Esau upon him At the time I punish him.
  4. "If grape gatherers came to you, Would they not leave gleanings? If thieves came by night, They would destroy only until they had enough.
  5. "But I have stripped Esau bare, I have uncovered his hiding places So that he will not be able to conceal himself; His offspring has been destroyed along with his relatives And his neighbors, and he is no more.
  1. そうして 後， わたしは アモン 人の 捕われ 人を 歸らせる． ··主の 御告げ． ··」
  2. エドム について． 万軍の 主はこう 仰せられた． 「テマン には， もう 知惠がないのか． 賢い 者から 分別が 消えうせ， 彼らの 知惠は 朽ちたのか．
  3. デダン の 住民よ． 逃げよ， のがれよ． 深く 潛め． わたしが エサウ の 災難をもたらすからだ． 彼を 罰する 時だ．
  4. ぶどうを 收穫する 者たちが， あなたのところに 來るなら， 彼らは 取り 殘しの 實を 殘さない． 盜人は， 夜中に 來るなら， 彼らの 氣のすむまで 荒らす．

  1. "Leave your orphans behind, I will keep them alive; And let your widows trust in Me."
  2. For thus says the LORD, "Behold, those who were not sentenced to drink the cup will certainly drink it, and are you the one who will be completely acquitted? You will not be acquitted, but you will certainly drink it.
  3. "For I have sworn by Myself," declares the LORD, "that Bozrah will become an object of horror, a reproach, a ruin and a curse; and all its cities will become perpetual ruins."
  4. I have heard a message from the LORD, And an envoy is sent among the nations, saying, "Gather yourselves together and come against her, And rise up for battle!"
  5. "For behold, I have made you small among the nations, Despised among men.
  1. あなたのみなしごたちを 見捨てよ． わたしが 彼らを 生きながらえさせる． あなたのやもめたちは， わたしに 據り 賴まなければならない． 」
  2. まことに 主はこう 仰せられる． 「見よ． あの 杯を 飮むように 定められていない 者も， それを 飮まなければならない． あなただけが 罰を 免れることができようか． 罰を 受けずには 濟まない． いや， あなたは 必ずそれを 飮まなければならない．
  3. わたしは 自分にかけて 誓ったからだ． ··主の 御告げ． ··必ず ボツラ は 恐怖， そしりとなり， 廢墟， ののしりとなる． そのすべての 町¿は， 永遠の 廢墟となる． 」
  4. 私は 主から 知らせを 聞いた． 「使者が 國¿の 間に 送られた． 『集まって， エドム に 攻め 入れ． 戰いに 立ち 上がれ． 』
  5. 見よ． わたしはあなたを 國¿の 中の 小さい 者， 人にさげすまれる 者とするからだ．
  1. "As for the terror of you, The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, O you who live in the clefts of the rock, Who occupy the height of the hill Though you make your nest as high as an eagle's, I will bring you down from there," declares the LORD.
  2. "Edom will become an object of horror; everyone who passes by it will be horrified and will hiss at all its wounds.
  3. "Like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah with its neighbors," says the LORD, "no one will live there, nor will a son of man reside in it.
  4. "Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan against a perennially watered pasture; for in an instant I will make him run away from it, and whoever is chosen I shall appoint over it For who is like Me, and who will summon Me into court? And who then is the shepherd who can stand against Me?"
  5. Therefore hear the plan of the LORD which He has planned against Edom, and His purposes which He has purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: surely they will drag them off, even the little ones of the flock; surely He will make their pasture desolate because of them.
  1. 岩の 住みかに 住む 者， 丘の 頂を 占める 者よ． あなたの 脅かしが， あなた 自身を 欺いた． あなたの 心は 高慢だ． あなたが 鷲のように 巢を 高くしても， わたしは， そこから 引き 降ろす． ··主の 御告げ． ··」
  2. エドム は 恐怖となり， そこを 通り 過ぎる 者はみな， 色を 失い， そのすべての 打ち 傷を 見てあざける．
  3. ソドム と ゴモラ とその 近隣の 破滅のように， ··主は 仰せられる． ··そこに 人は 住まず， そこに 人の 子は 宿らない．
  4. 「見よ． 獅子が ヨルダン の 密林から 水の 絶えず 流れる 牧場に 上って 來るように， わたしは 一瞬にして 彼らをそこから 追い 出そう． わたしは， 選ばれた 人をそこに 置く． なぜなら， だれかわたしのような 者があろうか． だれかわたしを 呼びつける 者があろうか． だれかわたしの 前に 立つことのできる 牧者があろうか． 」
  5. それゆえ， エドム に 對してめぐらされた 主のはかりごとと， テマン の 住民に 對して 立てられたご 計畵を 聞け． 必ず， 群れの 小さい 者まで 引きずって 行かれ， 必ず， 彼らの 牧場はそのことでおびえる．
  1. The earth has quaked at the noise of their downfall. There is an outcry! The noise of it has been heard at the Red Sea.
  2. Behold, He will mount up and swoop like an eagle and spread out His wings against Bozrah; and the hearts of the mighty men of Edom in that day will be like the heart of a woman in labor.
  3. Concerning Damascus "Hamath and Arpad are put to shame, For they have heard bad news; They are disheartened There is anxiety by the sea, It cannot be calmed.
  4. "Damascus has become helpless; She has turned away to flee, And panic has gripped her; Distress and pangs have taken hold of her Like a woman in childbirth.
  5. "How the city of praise has not been deserted, The town of My joy!
  1. 彼らの 倒れる 音で 地は 震え， その 叫び 聲が 葦の 海でも 聞こえた．
  2. 見よ． 彼は 鷲のように 舞い 上がっては 襲い， ボツラ の 上に 翼を 廣げる． その 日， エドム の 勇士の 心も， 産みの 苦しみをする 女の 心のようになる．
  3. ダマスコ について． 「ハマテ と アルパデ は 恥を 見た． 惡い 知らせを 聞いたからだ． 彼らは 海のように 震えおののいて 恐れ， 靜まることもできない．
  4. ダマスコ は 弱り， 恐怖に 捕われ， 身を 巡らして 逃げた． 産婦のような 苦しみと 苦痛に 捕えられて．

  1. "Therefore, her young men will fall in her streets, And all the men of war will be silenced in that day," declares the LORD of hosts.
  2. "I will set fire to the wall of Damascus, And it will devour the fortified towers of Ben-hadad."
  3. Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated Thus says the LORD, "Arise, go up to Kedar And devastate the men of the east.
  4. "They will take away their tents and their flocks; They will carry off for themselves Their tent curtains, all their goods and their camels, And they will call out to one another, 'Terror on every side!'
  5. "Run away, flee! Dwell in the depths, O inhabitants of Hazor," declares the LORD; "For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has formed a plan against you And devised a scheme against you.
  1. それゆえ， その 日， その 若い 男たちは 町の 廣場に 倒れ， その 戰士たちもみな， 斷ち 滅ぼされる． ··万軍の 主の 御告げ． ··
  2. わたしは， ダマスコ の 城壁に 火をつける． その 火は ベン · ハダデ の 宮殿をなめ 盡くす． 」
  3. バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル が 打った ケダル と ハツォル の 王國について． 主はこう 仰せられる． 「さあ， ケダル へ 攻め 上り， 東の 人¿を 荒らせ．
  4. その 天幕と 羊の 群れは 奪われ， その 幕屋もそのすべての 器も， らくだも， 運び 去られる． 人¿は 彼らに 向かって『恐れが 回りにある． 』と 叫ぶ．
  5. ハツォル の 住民よ． 逃げよ． 遠くへのがれよ． 深く 潛め． ··主の 御告げ． ·· バビロン の 王 ネブカデレザル は， あなたがたに 對してはかりごとをめぐらし， あなたがたに 對してたくらみを 設けているからだ．
  1. "Arise, go up against a nation which is at ease, Which lives securely," declares the LORD "It has no gates or bars; They dwell alone.
  2. "Their camels will become plunder, And their many cattle for booty, And I will scatter to all the winds those who cut the corners of their hair; And I will bring their disaster from every side," declares the LORD.
  3. "Hazor will become a haunt of jackals, A desolation forever; No one will live there, Nor will a son of man reside in it."
  4. That which came as the word of the LORD to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying:
  5. "Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'Behold, I am going to break the bow of Elam, The finest of their might.
  1. さあ， 安心して 住んでいるのんきな 國に 攻め 上れ． ··主の 御告げ． ··そこにはとびらもなく， かんぬきもなく， その 民は 孤立して 住んでいる．
  2. 彼らのらくだは 獲物に， その 家畜の 群れは 分捕り 物になる． わたしは， こめかみを 刈り 上げている 者たちを 四方に 吹き 散らし， 彼らに 災難を 各方面から 來させる． ··主の 御告げ． ··
  3. ハツォル はとこしえまでも 荒れ 果てて， ジャッカル の 住みかとなり， そこに 人は 住まず， そこに 人の 子は 宿らない． 」
  4. ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ の 治世の 初めに， エラム について 預言者 エレミヤ にあった 主のことば．
  5. 万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる． 「見よ． わたしは エラム の 力の 源であるその 弓を ¿く．
  1. 'I will bring upon Elam the four winds From the four ends of heaven, And will scatter them to all these winds; And there will be no nation To which the outcasts of Elam will not go.
  2. 'So I will shatter Elam before their enemies And before those who seek their lives; And I will bring calamity upon them, Even My fierce anger,' declares the LORD, 'And I will send out the sword after them Until I have consumed them.
  3. 'Then I will set My throne in Elam And destroy out of it king and princes,' Declares the LORD.
  4. 'But it will come about in the last days That I will restore the fortunes of Elam,'" Declares the LORD.
  1. わたしは 天の 四隅から， 四方の 風を エラム に 來させ， 彼らをこの 四方の 風で 吹き 散らし， エラム の 散らされた 者がはいらない 國はないようにする．
  2. わたしは， エラム を 敵の 前におののかせ， そのいのちをねらう 者たちの 前におののかせ， 彼らの 上にわざわいを 下し， わたしの 燃える 怒りをその 上に 下す． ··主の 御告げ． ··わたしは， 彼らのうしろに 劍を 送って， 彼らを 絶ち 滅ぼす．
  3. わたしは エラム にわたしの 王座を 置き， 王や 首長たちをそこから 滅ぼす． ··主の 御告げ． ··
  4. しかし， 終わりの 日になると， わたしは エラム の 捕われ 人を 歸らせる． ··主の 御告げ． ··」
