- Now as Peter was traveling through all those regions, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.
- There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years, for he was paralyzed.
- Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your bed." Immediately he got up.
- And all who lived at Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
- Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated in Greek is called Dorcas); this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity which she continually did.

- ペテロ は 方¿をめぐり 步いたが， ルダ に 住む 聖徒たちのところへも 下って 行った．
- そして， そこで， 八年間も 床についている アイネヤ という 人に 會った． この 人は 中風であった．
- ペテロ が 彼に 言った， 「アイネヤ よ， イエス · キリスト があなたをいやして 下さるのだ． 起きなさい． そして 床を 取りあげなさい 」． すると， 彼はただちに 起きあがった．
- ルダ と サロン に 住む 人たちは， みなそれを 見て， 主に 歸依した．
- ヨッパ に タビタ （これを 譯すと， ドルカス ， すなわち， かもしか ）という 女弟子がいた． 數¿のよい ¿きや 施しをしていた 婦人であった．

- And it happened at that time that she fell sick and died; and when they had washed her body, they laid it in an upper room.
- Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him, "Do not delay in coming to us."
- So Peter arose and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the upper room; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.
- But Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
- And he gave her his hand and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

- ところが， そのころ 病氣になって 死んだので， 人¿はそのからだを 洗って， 屋上の 間に 安置した．
- ルダ は ヨッパ に 近かったので， 弟子たちは ペテロ が ルダ にきていると 聞き， ふたりの 者を 彼のもとにやって， 「どうぞ， 早くこちらにおいで 下さい 」と 賴んだ．
- そこで ペテロ は 立って， ふたりの 者に 連れられてきた． 彼が 着くとすぐ， 屋上の 間に 案內された． すると， やもめたちがみんな 彼のそばに 寄ってきて， ドルカス が 生前つくった 下着や 上着の 數¿を， 泣きながら 見せるのであった．
- ペテロ はみんなの 者を 外に 出し， ひざまずいて 祈った． それから 死體の 方に 向いて， 「タビタ よ， 起きなさい 」と 言った． すると 彼女は 目をあけ， ペテロ を 見て 起きなおった．
- ペテロ は 彼女に 手をかして 立たせた． それから， 聖徒たちや， やもめたちを 呼び 入れて， 彼女が 生きかえっているのを 見せた．

- It became known all over Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.
- And Peter stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.

- このことが ヨッパ 中に 知れわたり， 多くの 人¿が 主を 信じた．
- ペテロ は， 皮なめし シモン という 人の 家に 泊まり， しばらくの 間 ヨッパ に 滯在した．
