- Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD, And whom You teach out of Your law;
- That You may grant him relief from the days of adversity, Until a pit is dug for the wicked.
- For the LORD will not abandon His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
- For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it.
- Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?

- 主よ， あなたによって 懲らされる 人， あなたのおきてを 敎えられる 人はさいわいです．
- あなたはその 人を 災の 日からのがれさせ， 惡しき 者のために 穴が 掘られるまで ／その 人に 平安を 與えられます．
- 主はその 民を 捨てず， その 嗣業を 見捨てられないからです．
- さばきは 正義に 歸り， すべて 心の 正しい 者はそれに 從うでしょう．
- だれがわたしのために 立ちあがって， 惡しき 者を 責めるだろうか． だれがわたしのために 立って， 不義を 行う 者を 責めるだろうか．

- If the LORD had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.
- If I should say, "My foot has slipped," Your lovingkindness, O LORD, will hold me up.
- When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.
- Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?
- They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.

- もしも 主がわたしを 助けられなかったならば， わが 魂はとくに 音なき 所に 住んだであろう．
- しかし「わたしの 足がすべる 」と 思ったとき， 主よ， あなたのいつくしみは ／わたしをささえられました．
- わたしのうちに 思い 煩いの 滿ちるとき， あなたの 慰めはわが 魂を 喜ばせます．
- 定めをもって 危害をたくらむ 惡しき 支配者は ／あなたと 親しむことができるでしょうか．
- 彼らは 相結んで 正しい 人の 魂を 責め， 罪のない 者に 死を 宣告します．

- But the LORD has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge.
- He has brought back their wickedness upon them And will destroy them in their evil; The LORD our God will destroy them.
