역대상 11:1-12:15

 사울에 이어 왕위에 오른 다윗은 예루살렘을 탈환하고 점점 강성하여져 갔다. 다윗의 30인 용사들의 명단과 사울이 죽기 전 다윗을 따르던 용사들의 명단이 소개되어 있다.
  
  다윗의 즉위와 예루살렘 탈환(11:1-11:9)    
 
  1. Then all Israel gathered to David at Hebron and said, "Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
  2. "In times past, even when Saul was king, you were the one who led out and brought in Israel; and the LORD your God said to you, 'You shall shepherd My people Israel, and you shall be prince over My people Israel.'"
  3. So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD through Samuel.
  4. Then David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (that is, Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.
  5. The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, "You shall not enter here." Nevertheless David captured the stronghold of Zion (that is, the city of David).
  1. ここに イスラエル の 人は 皆 ヘブロン にいる ダビデ のもとに 集まって 來て 言った， 「われわれは， あなたの 骨肉です．
  2. 先に サウル が 王であった 時にも， あなたは イスラエル を 率いて 出入りされました． そしてあなたの 神， 主はあなたに『あなたはわが 民 イスラエル を 牧する 者となり， わが 民 イスラエル の 君となるであろう 』と 言われました 」．
  3. このように イスラエル の 長老が 皆 ヘブロン にいる 王のもとに 來たので， ダビデ は ヘブロン で 主の 前に 彼らと 契約を 結んだ． そして 彼らは， サムエル によって 語られた 主の 言葉に 從って ダビデ に 油を 注ぎ， イスラエル の 王とした．
  4. ダビデ とすべての イスラエル は エルサレム へ 行った． エルサレム はすなわち エブス であって， そこにはその 地の 住民である エブス びとがいた．
  5. エブス の 住民は ダビデ に 言った， 「あなたはここにはいってはならない 」． しかし， ダビデ は シオン の 要害を 取った． これがすなわち ダビデ の 町である．
  1. Now David had said, "Whoever strikes down a Jebusite first shall be chief and commander." Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, so he became chief.
  2. Then David dwelt in the stronghold; therefore it was called the city of David.
  3. He built the city all around, from the Millo even to the surrounding area; and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
  4. David became greater and greater, for the LORD of hosts was with him.
  1. この 時 ダビデ は 言った， 「だれでも 第一に エブス びとを 擊つ 者を， かしらとし， 將とする 」． ゼルヤ の 子 ヨアブ が 第一にのぼっていったので， かしらとなった．
  2. そして ダビデ がその 要害に 住んだので 人¿はこれを ダビデ の 町と 名づけた．
  3. ダビデ はまたその 町の 周圍すなわち ミロ から 四方に 石がきを 築き， ヨアブ は 町のほかの 部分を 繕った．
  4. こうして ダビデ はますます 大いなる 者となった． 万軍の 主が 彼とともにおられたからである．
 
  다윗의 용사들(11:10-12:15)    
 
  1. Now these are the heads of the mighty men whom David had, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
  2. These constitute the list of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred whom he killed at one time.
  3. After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.
  4. He was with David at Pasdammim when the Philistines were gathered together there to battle, and there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people fled before the Philistines.
  5. They took their stand in the midst of the plot and defended it, and struck down the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great victory.
  1. ダビデ の 勇士のおもなものは 次のとおりである． 彼らは イスラエル のすべての 人とともに ダビデ に 力をそえて 國を 得させ， 主が イスラエル について 言われた 言葉にしたがって， 彼を 王とした 人¿である．
  2. ダビデ の 勇士の 數は 次のとおりである． すなわち 三人の 長である ハクモニ びとの 子 ヤショベアム ， 彼はやりをふるって 三百人に 向かい， 一度にこれを 殺した 者である．
  3. 彼の 次は アホア びと ドド の 子 エレアザル で， 三勇士のひとりである．
  4. 彼は ダビデ とともに パスダミム にいたが， ペリシテ びとがそこに 集まって 來て 戰った． そこに 一面に 大麥のはえた 地所があった． 民は ペリシテ びとの 前から 逃げた．
  5. しかし 彼は 地所の 中に 立ってこれを 防ぎ， ペリシテ びとを 殺した． そして 主は 大いなる 勝利を 與えて 彼らを 救われた．
  1. Now three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam, while the army of the Philistines was camping in the valley of Rephaim.
  2. David was then in the stronghold, while the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem.
  3. David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!"
  4. So the three broke through the camp of the Philistines and drew water from the well of Bethlehem which was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David; nevertheless David would not drink it, but poured it out to the LORD;
  5. and he said, "Be it far from me before my God that I should do this. Shall I drink the blood of these men who went at the risk of their lives? For at the risk of their lives they brought it." Therefore he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.
  1. 三十人の 長たちのうちの 三人は 下っていって アドラム のほらあなの 岩の 所にいる ダビデ のもとへ 行った． 時に ペリシテ びとの 軍勢は レパイム の 谷に 陣を 取っていた．
  2. その 時 ダビデ は 要害におり， ペリシテ びとの 先陣は ベツレヘム にあったが，
  3. ダビデ はせつに 望んで， 「だれか ベツレヘム の 門のかたわらにある 井戶の 水をわたしに 飮ませてくれるとよいのだが 」と 言った．
  4. そこでその 三人は ペリシテ びとの 陣を 突き 通って， ベツレヘム の 門のかたわらにある 井戶の 水をくみ 取って， ダビデ のもとに 携えて 來た． しかし ダビデ はそれを 飮もうとはせず， それを 主の 前に 注いで，
  5. 言った， 「わが 神よ， わたしは 斷じてこれをいたしません． 命をかけて 行ったこの 人たちの 血をどうしてわたしは 飮むことができましょう． 彼らは 命をかけてこの 水をとって 來たのです 」． それゆえ， ダビデ はこの 水を 飮もうとはしなかった． 三勇士はこのことをおこなった．
  1. As for Abshai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the thirty, and he swung his spear against three hundred and killed them; and he had a name as well as the thirty.
  2. Of the three in the second rank he was the most honored and became their commander; however, he did not attain to the first three.
  3. Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, mighty in deeds, struck down the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion inside a pit on a snowy day.
  4. He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature five cubits tall. Now in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam, but he went down to him with a club and snatched the spear from the Egyptian's hand and killed him with his own spear.
  5. These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and had a name as well as the three mighty men.
  1. ヨアブ の 兄弟 アビシャイ は 三十人の 長であった． 彼はやりをふるって 三百人に 立ち 向かい， これを 殺して 三人のほかに 名を 得た．
  2. 彼は 三十人のうち， 最も 尊ばれた 者で， 彼らのかしらとなった． しかし， かの 三人には 及ばなかった．
  3. エホヤダ の 子 ベナヤ は， カブジエル 出身の 勇士であって， 多くのてがらを 立てた． 彼は モアブ の アリエル のふたりの 子を 擊ち 殺した． 彼はまた 雪の 日に 下っていって， 穴の 中でししを 擊ち 殺した．
  4. 彼はまた 身のたけ 五 キュビト ばかりの エジプト びとを 擊ち 殺した． その エジプト びとは 手に 機の 卷棒ほどのやりを 持っていたが， ベナヤ はつえをとって 彼の 所へ 下って 行き， エジプト びとの 手から， やりをもぎとり， そのやりをもって 彼を 殺した．
  5. エホヤダ の 子 ベナヤ は， これらの 事を 行って 三勇士のほかに 名を 得た．
  1. Behold, he was honored among the thirty, but he did not attain to the three; and David appointed him over his guard.
  2. Now the mighty men of the armies were Asahel the brother of Joab, Elhanan the son of Dodo of Bethlehem,
  3. Shammoth the Harorite, Helez the Pelonite,
  4. Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite, Abiezer the Anathothite,
  5. Sibbecai the Hushathite, Ilai the Ahohite,
  1. 彼は 三十人のうちに 有名であったが， かの 三人には 及ばなかった． ダビデ は 彼を 侍衛の 長とした．
  2. 軍團のうちの 勇士は ヨアブ の 兄弟 アサヘル ． ベツレヘム 出身の ドド の 子 エルハナン ．
  3. ハロデ 出身の シャンマ ． ペロン びと ヘレヅ ．
  4. テコア 出身の イッケシ の 子 イラ ． アナトテ 出身の アビエゼル ．
  5. ホシャテ びと シベカイ ． アホア びと イライ ．
  1. Maharai the Netophathite, Heled the son of Baanah the Netophathite,
  2. Ithai the son of Ribai of Gibeah of the sons of Benjamin, Benaiah the Pirathonite,
  3. Hurai of the brooks of Gaash, Abiel the Arbathite,
  4. Azmaveth the Baharumite, Eliahba the Shaalbonite,
  5. the sons of Hashem the Gizonite, Jonathan the son of Shagee the Hararite,
  1. ネトパ 出身の マハライ ． ネトパ 出身の バアナ の 子 ヘレデ ．
  2. ベニヤミン びとの ギベア から 出た リバイ の 子 イタイ ． ピラトン の ベナヤ ．
  3. ガアシ の 谷の ホライ ． アルバテ びと アビエル ．
  4. バハルム 出身の アズマウテ ． シャルボン 出身の エリヤバ ．
  5. ギゾン びと ハセム ． ハラル びと シャゲ の 子 ヨナタン ．
  1. Ahiam the son of Sacar the Hararite, Eliphal the son of Ur,
  2. Hepher the Mecherathite, Ahijah the Pelonite,
  3. Hezro the Carmelite, Naarai the son of Ezbai,
  4. Joel the brother of Nathan, Mibhar the son of Hagri,
  5. Zelek the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, the armor bearer of Joab the son of Zeruiah,
  1. ハラル びと サカル の 子 アヒアム ． ウル の 子 エリパル ．
  2. メケラテ びと ヘペル ． ペロン びと アヒヤ ．
  3. カルメル 出身の ヘズロ ． エズバイ の 子 ナアライ ．
  4. ナタン の 兄弟 ヨエル ． ハグリ の 子 ミブハル ．
  5. アンモン びと ゼレク ． ゼルヤ の 子 ヨアブ の 武器を 執るもの， ベエロテ 出身の ナハライ ．
  1. Ira the Ithrite, Gareb the Ithrite,
  2. Uriah the Hittite, Zabad the son of Ahlai,
  3. Adina the son of Shiza the Reubenite, a chief of the Reubenites, and thirty with him,
  4. Hanan the son of Maacah and Joshaphat the Mithnite,
  5. Uzzia the Ashterathite, Shama and Jeiel the sons of Hotham the Aroerite,
  1. イテル びと イラ ． イテル びと ガレブ ．
  2. ヘテ びと ウリヤ ． アハライ の 子 ザバデ ．
  3. ルベン びと シザ の 子 アデナ ． 彼は ルベン びとの 長であって， 三十人を 率いた．
  4. また マアカ の 子 ハナン ． ミテニ びと ヨシャパテ ．
  5. アシテラテ びと ウジヤ ． アロエル びと ホタム の 子ら シャマ と エイエル ．
  1. Jediael the son of Shimri and Joha his brother, the Tizite,
  2. Eliel the Mahavite and Jeribai and Joshaviah, the sons of Elnaam, and Ithmah the Moabite,
  3. Eliel and Obed and Jaasiel the Mezobaite.
  1. テジ びと シムリ の 子 エデアエル およびその 兄弟 ヨハ ．
  2. マハブ びと エリエル ． エルナアム の 子ら エリバイ および ヨシャビヤ ． モアブ びと イテマ ．
  3. エリエル ， オベデ および メゾバ びと ヤシエル である．
 
 
  1. Now these are the ones who came to David at Ziklag, while he was still restricted because of Saul the son of Kish; and they were among the mighty men who helped him in war.
  2. They were equipped with bows, using both the right hand and the left to sling stones and to shoot arrows from the bow; they were Saul's kinsmen from Benjamin.
  3. The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth, and Beracah and Jehu the Anathothite,
  4. and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty. Then Jeremiah, Jahaziel, Johanan, Jozabad the Gederathite,
  5. Eluzai, Jerimoth, Bealiah, Shemariah, Shephatiah the Haruphite,
  1. ダビデ が キシ の 子 サウル にしりぞけられて， なお チクラグ にいた 時， 次の 人¿が 彼のもとに 來た． 彼らは ダビデ を 助けて 戰った 勇士たちのうちにあり，
  2. 弓をよくする 者， 左右いずれの 手をもってもよく 矢を 射， 石を 投げる 者で， ともに ベニヤミン びとで， サウル の 同族である．
  3. そのかしらは アヒエゼル ， 次は ヨアシ で， ともに ギベア 出身の シマア の 子たちである． また エジエル と ペレテ で， ともに アズマウテ の 子たちである． また ベラカ および アナトテ 出身の エヒウ ．
  4. また ギベオン 出身の イシマヤ ， 彼は 三十人のうちの 勇士で， その 三十人の 長である． また エレミヤ ， ヤハジエル ， ヨハナン ， ゲデラ 出身の ヨザバデ ，
  5. エルザイ ， エリモテ ， ベアリヤ ， シマリヤ ， ハリフ びと シパテヤ ，
  1. Elkanah, Isshiah, Azarel, Joezer, Jashobeam, the Korahites,
  2. and Joelah and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
  3. From the Gadites there came over to David in the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men trained for war, who could handle shield and spear, and whose faces were like the faces of lions, and they were as swift as the gazelles on the mountains.
  4. Ezer was the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
  5. Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
  1. エルカナ ， イシア ， アザリエル ， ヨエゼル ， ヤショベアム で， これらは コラ びとである．
  2. また ゲドル の エロハム の 子たちである ヨエラ および ゼバデヤ である．
  3. ガド びとのうちから 荒野の 要害に 來て， ダビデ についた 者は 皆勇士で， よく 戰う 軍人， よく 盾とやりをつかう 者， その 顔はししの 顔のようで， その 速いことは 山にいるしかのようであった．
  4. 彼らのかしらは エゼル ， 次は オバデヤ ， 第三は エリアブ ，
  5. 第四は ミシマンナ ， 第五は エレミヤ ，
  1. Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
  2. Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
  3. Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
  4. These of the sons of Gad were captains of the army; he who was least was equal to a hundred and the greatest to a thousand.
  5. These are the ones who crossed the Jordan in the first month when it was overflowing all its banks and they put to flight all those in the valleys, both to the east and to the west.
  1. 第六は アッタイ ， 第七は エリエル ，
  2. 第八は ヨナハン ， 第九は エルザバデ ，
  3. 第十は エレミヤ ， 第十一は マクバナイ である．
  4. これらは ガド の 子孫で 軍勢の 長たる 者， その 最も 小さい 者でも 百人に 當り， その 最も 大いなる 者は 千人に 當った．
  5. 正月， ヨルダン がその 全岸にあふれたとき， 彼らはこれを 渡って， 谷¿にいる 者をことごとく 東に 西に 逃げ 走らせた．
