예레미야 26:1-27:22

 패역한 유다 백성들에게 하나님의 심판을 선포하면서 회개를 촉구했다는 이유로 예레미야는 유다 지도자들로부터 위협을 받았으나 아히감의 보호로 죽음을 면했다. 예레미야는 줄과 멍에를 목에 얹고서 다시 한 번 이방 열국에게 바벨론에 항복할 것을 권면했으며, 시드기야 왕과 유다 백성들에게 거짓 선지자들의 말에 속지 말고 바벨론에 항복할 것을 권고했다.
  
  핍박받는 예레미야(26:1-26:24)    
 
  1. In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came from the LORD, saying,
  2. "Thus says the LORD, 'Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak to all the cities of Judah who have come to worship in the LORD'S house all the words that I have commanded you to speak to them Do not omit a word!
  3. 'Perhaps they will listen and everyone will turn from his evil way, that I may repent of the calamity which I am planning to do to them because of the evil of their deeds.'
  4. "And you will say to them, 'Thus says the LORD, "If you will not listen to Me, to walk in My law which I have set before you,
  5. to listen to the words of My servants the prophets, whom I have been sending to you again and again, but you have not listened;
  1. ユダ の 王 ヨシヤ の 子 エホヤキム が 世を 治めた 初めのころ， 主からこの 言葉があった，
  2. 「主はこう 仰せられる， 主の 宮の 庭に 立ち， わたしがあなたに 命じて 言わせるすべての 言葉を， 主の 宮で 禮拜するために 來ている ユダ の 町¿の 人¿に 告げなさい． ひと 言をも 言い 殘しておいてはならない．
  3. 彼らが 聞いて， おのおのその 惡い 道を 離れることがあるかも 知れない． そのとき， わたしは 彼らの 行いの 惡いために， 災を 彼らに 下そうとしたのを 思いなおす．
  4. あなたは 彼らに 言いなさい， 『主はこう 仰せられる， もしあなたがたがわたしに 聞き 從わず， わたしがあなたがたの 前に 定めおいた 律法を 行わず，

  1. then I will make this house like Shiloh, and this city I will make a curse to all the nations of the earth."'"
  2. The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
  3. When Jeremiah finished speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the prophets and all the people seized him, saying, "You must die!
  4. "Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD saying, 'This house will be like Shiloh and this city will be desolate, without inhabitant'?" And all the people gathered about Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
  5. When the officials of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king's house to the house of the LORD and sat in the entrance of the New Gate of the LORD'S house.
  1. わたしはこの 宮を シロ のようにし， またこの 町を 地の 万國にのろわれるものとする 』」．
  2. 祭司と 預言者およびすべての 民は， エレミヤ が 主の 宮でこれらの 言葉を 語るのを 聞いた．

  1. Then the priests and the prophets spoke to the officials and to all the people, saying, "A death sentence for this man! For he has prophesied against this city as you have heard in your hearing."
  2. Then Jeremiah spoke to all the officials and to all the people, saying, "The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.
  3. "Now therefore amend your ways and your deeds and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will change His mind about the misfortune which He has pronounced against you.
  4. "But as for me, behold, I am in your hands; do with me as is good and right in your sight.
  5. "Only know for certain that if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on this city and on its inhabitants; for truly the LORD has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing."
  1. 祭司と 預言者らは， つかさたちとすべての 民に 訴えて 言った， 「この 人は 死刑に 處すべき 者です． あなたがたが 自分の 耳で 聞かれたように， この 町に 逆らう 預言をしたのです 」．
  2. その 時 エレミヤ は， つかさたちとすべての 民に 言った， 「主はわたしをつかわし， この 宮とこの 町にむかって， 預言をさせられたので， そのすべての 言葉をあなたがたは 聞いた．

  5. ただ 明らかにこのことを 知っておきなさい． もしあなたがたがわたしを 殺すならば， 罪なき 者の 血はあなたがたの 身と， この 町と， その 住民とに 歸する． まことに 主がわたしをつかわして， このすべての 言葉をあなたがたの 耳に， 告げさせられたからである 」．
  1. Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets, "No death sentence for this man! For he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God."
  2. Then some of the elders of the land rose up and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,
  3. "Micah of Moresheth prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, 'Thus the LORD of hosts has said, "Zion will be plowed as a field, And Jerusalem will become ruins, And the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest."'
  4. "Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the LORD and entreat the favor of the LORD, and the LORD changed His mind about the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But we are committing a great evil against ourselves."
  5. Indeed, there was also a man who prophesied in the name of the LORD, Uriah the son of Shemaiah from Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land words similar to all those of Jeremiah.
  1. つかさたちと， すべての 民とは， 祭司と 預言者に 言った， 「この 人は 死刑に 處すべき 者ではない． われわれの 神， 主の 名によってわれわれに 語ったのである 」．
  2. その 時この 地の 長老たち 數人が 立って， そこに 集まっているすべての 者に 告げて 言った，
  3. 「ユダ の 王 ヒゼキヤ の 世に， モレシテ びと ミカ は ユダ のすべての 民に 預言して 言った， 『万軍の 主はこう 仰せられる， シオン は 畑のように 耕され， エルサレム は 石塚となり， 宮の 山は 木のおい 茂る 高い 所となる 』．
  4. ユダ の 王 ヒゼキヤ と， すべての ユダ の 人は 彼を 殺そうとしたことがあろうか． ヒゼキヤ は 主を 恐れ， 主の 惠みを 求めたので， 主は 彼らに 災を 下すとお 告げになったのを 思いなおされたではないか． しかし， われわれは， 自分の 身に 大きな 災を 招こうとしている 」．
  5. 主の 名によって 預言した 人がほかにもあった． すなわち キリアテ · ヤリム の シマヤ の 子 ウリヤ である． 彼は エレミヤ とおなじような 言葉をもって， この 町とこの 地にむかって 預言した．
  1. When King Jehoiakim and all his mighty men and all the officials heard his words, then the king sought to put him to death; but Uriah heard it, and he was afraid and fled and went to Egypt.
  2. Then King Jehoiakim sent men to Egypt: Elnathan the son of Achbor and certain men with him went into Egypt.
  3. And they brought Uriah from Egypt and led him to King Jehoiakim, who slew him with a sword and cast his dead body into the burial place of the common people.
  4. But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, so that he was not given into the hands of the people to put him to death.
  1. エホヤキム 王と， そのすべての 勇士と， すべてのつかさたちはその 言葉を 聞いた． そして 王は 彼を 殺そうと 思ったが， ウリヤ はこれを 聞いて 恐れ， エジプト に 逃げて 行ったので，

  1. In the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying--
  2. thus says the LORD to me--"Make for yourself bonds and yokes and put them on your neck,
  3. and send word to the king of Edom, to the king of Moab, to the king of the sons of Ammon, to the king of Tyre and to the king of Sidon by the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
  4. "Command them to go to their masters, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, thus you shall say to your masters,
  5. "I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will give it to the one who is pleasing in My sight.
  1. ユダ の 王 ヨシヤ の 子 ゼデキヤ が 世を 治め 始めたころ， この 言葉が 主から エレミヤ に 臨んだ．
  2. すなわち 主はこうわたしに 仰せられた， 「綱と， くびきとを 作って， それをあなたの 首につけ，
  3. エルサレム にいる ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ の 所に 來た 使者たちによって， エドム の 王， モアブ の 王， アンモン びとの 王， ツロ の 王， シドン の 王に 言いおくりなさい．
  4. 彼らの 主君にこの 命を 傳えさせなさい， 『万軍の 主， イスラエル の 神はこう 仰せられる， あなたがたは 主君にこのように 告げなければならない．
  5. わたしは 大いなる 力と 伸べた 腕とをもって， 地と 地の 上にいる 人と ¿とをつくった 者である． そして 心のままに 地を 人に 與える．
  1. "Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, My servant, and I have given him also the wild animals of the field to serve him.
  2. "All the nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson until the time of his own land comes; then many nations and great kings will make him their servant.
  3. "It will be, that the nation or the kingdom which will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and which will not put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with the sword, with famine and with pestilence," declares the LORD, "until I have destroyed it by his hand.
  4. "But as for you, do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your dreamers, your soothsayers or your sorcerers who speak to you, saying, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon.'
  5. "For they prophesy a lie to you in order to remove you far from your land; and I will drive you out and you will perish.
  1. いまわたしはこのすべての 國を， わたしのしもべである バビロン の 王 ネブカデネザル の 手に 與え， また 野の ¿をも 彼に 與えて 彼に 仕えさせた．
  2. 彼の 地に 時がくるまで， 万國民は 彼とその 子とその 孫に 仕える． その 時がくるならば， 多くの 國と 大いなる 王たちとが 彼を 自分の 奴隷にする．

  2. I spoke words like all these to Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, "Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and his people, and live!
  3. "Why will you die, you and your people, by the sword, famine and pestilence, as the LORD has spoken to that nation which will not serve the king of Babylon?
  4. "So do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, 'You will not serve the king of Babylon,' for they prophesy a lie to you;
  5. for I have not sent them," declares the LORD, "but they prophesy falsely in My name, in order that I may drive you out and that you may perish, you and the prophets who prophesy to you."
  1. しかし バビロン の 王のくびきを 首に 負って， 彼に 仕える 國民を， わたしはその 故國に 殘らせ， それを 耕して， そこに 住まわせると 主は 言われる 』」．

  1. Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, "Thus says the LORD: Do not listen to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, 'Behold, the vessels of the LORD'S house will now shortly be brought again from Babylon'; for they are prophesying a lie to you.
  2. "Do not listen to them; serve the king of Babylon, and live! Why should this city become a ruin?
  3. "But if they are prophets, and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them now entreat the LORD of hosts that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon.
  4. "For thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, concerning the sea, concerning the stands and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,
  5. which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he carried into exile Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.
  1. わたしはまた 祭司とこのすべての 民とに 語って 言った， 「主はこう 仰せられる， 『見よ， 主の 宮の 器は 今， すみやかに， バビロン から 返されてくる 』とあなたがたに 預言する 預言者の 言葉を 聞いてはならない． それは， 彼らがあなたがたに 預言していることは 僞りであるからだ．
  2. 彼らのいうことを 聞いてはならない． バビロン の 王に 仕え， そして 生きなさい． どうしてこの 町が 荒れ 地となってよかろうか．
  3. もし 彼らが 預言者であって， 主の 言葉が 彼らのうちにあるのであれば， 主の 宮と ユダ の 王の 宮殿と エルサレム とに 殘されている 器が， バビロン に 移されないように， 万軍の 主に， とりなしを 願うべきだ．

  1. "Yes, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of the LORD and in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem,
  2. 'They will be carried to Babylon and they will be there until the day I visit them,' declares the LORD 'Then I will bring them back and restore them to this place.'"
  1. すなわち 万軍の 主， イスラエル の 神は， 主の 宮と ユダ の 王の 宮殿と エルサレム とに 殘されている 器について， こう 仰せられる．
  2. これらは バビロン に 携え 行かれ， わたしが 顧みる 日までそこにおかれている． その 後， わたしはこれらのものを， この 所に 携え 歸らせると 主は 言われる 」．
