- Now as Peter was traveling through all those regions, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.
- There he found a man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years, for he was paralyzed.
- Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you; get up and make your bed." Immediately he got up.
- And all who lived at Lydda and Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.
- Now in Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (which translated in Greek is called Dorcas); this woman was abounding with deeds of kindness and charity which she continually did.

- ペトロ は 方¿を 巡り 步き， リダ に 住んでいる 聖なる 者たちのところへも 下って 行った．
- そしてそこで， 中風で 八年前から 床についていた アイネア という 人に 會った．
- ペトロ が， 「アイネア ， イエス · キリスト がいやしてくださる． 起きなさい． 自分で 床を 整えなさい 」と 言うと， アイネア はすぐ 起き 上がった．
- リダ と シャロン に 住む 人は 皆 アイネア を 見て， 主に 立ち 歸った．
- ヤッファ に タビタ ――譯して 言えば ドルカス ， すなわち「かもしか 」――と 呼ばれる 婦人の 弟子がいた． 彼女はたくさんの 善い 行いや 施しをしていた．

- And it happened at that time that she fell sick and died; and when they had washed her body, they laid it in an upper room.
- Since Lydda was near Joppa, the disciples, having heard that Peter was there, sent two men to him, imploring him, "Do not delay in coming to us."
- So Peter arose and went with them. When he arrived, they brought him into the upper room; and all the widows stood beside him, weeping and showing all the tunics and garments that Dorcas used to make while she was with them.
- But Peter sent them all out and knelt down and prayed, and turning to the body, he said, "Tabitha, arise." And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
- And he gave her his hand and raised her up; and calling the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

- ところが， そのころ 病氣になって 死んだので， 人¿は 遺體を 淸めて 階上の 部屋に 安置した．
- リダ は ヤッファ に 近かったので， 弟子たちは ペトロ が リダ にいると 聞いて， 二人の 人を 送り， 「急いでわたしたちのところへ 來てください 」と 賴んだ．
- ペトロ はそこをたって， その 二人と 一緖に 出かけた． 人¿は ペトロ が 到着すると， 階上の 部屋に 案內した． やもめたちは 皆そばに 寄って 來て， 泣きながら， ドルカス が 一緖にいたときに 作ってくれた 數¿の 下着や 上着を 見せた．
- ペトロ が 皆を 外に 出し， ひざまずいて 祈り， 遺體に 向かって， 「タビタ ， 起きなさい 」と 言うと， 彼女は 目を 開き， ペトロ を 見て 起き 上がった．
- ペトロ は 彼女に 手を 貸して 立たせた． そして， 聖なる 者たちとやもめたちを 呼び， 生き 返った タビタ を 見せた．

- It became known all over Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.
- And Peter stayed many days in Joppa with a tanner named Simon.

- このことは ヤッファ 中に 知れ 渡り， 多くの 人が 主を 信じた．
- ペトロ はしばらくの 間， ヤッファ で 革なめし 職人の シモン という 人の 家に 滯在した．
