욥기 7:1-9:35

 욥의 답변과 호소가 계속되는 가운데 수아 사람 빌닷이 욥의 변명을 반박하였다. 빌닷은 공의로우신 하나님을 말하면서 욥의 자녀들이 죄의 대가로 죽은 것이라고 하였다. 그는 욥에게 옛 열조들의 경험과 지혜를 배우라고 권고하면서, 욥이 회개하면 다시 회복될 것이라고 충고하였다. 그러자 욥은 하나님의 강력한 권능과 자신의 약함을 대조하면서 자신의 순전함을 고백하였다.
  
  욥의 답변(7:1-7:21)    
 
  1. "Is not man forced to labor on earth, And are not his days like the days of a hired man?
  2. "As a slave who pants for the shade, And as a hired man who eagerly waits for his wages,
  3. So am I allotted months of vanity, And nights of trouble are appointed me.
  4. "When I lie down I say, 'When shall I arise?' But the night continues, And I am continually tossing until dawn.
  5. "My flesh is clothed with worms and a crust of dirt, My skin hardens and runs.
  1. この 地上に 生きる 人間は 兵役にあるようなもの． 傭兵のように 日¿を 送らなければならない．
  2. 奴隷のように 日の 暮れるのを 待ち 焦がれ ／傭兵のように 報酬を 待ち 望む．
  3. そうだ ／わたしの 嗣業はむなしく 過ぎる 月日． 勞苦の 夜¿が 定められた 報酬．
  4. 橫たわればいつ 起き 上がれるのかと 思い ／夜の 長さに 倦み ／いらだって 夜明けを 待つ．
  5. 肉は ·蟲とかさぶたに 覆われ ／皮膚は 割れ， うみが 出ている．
  1. "My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, And come to an end without hope.
  2. "Remember that my life is but breath; My eye will not again see good.
  3. "The eye of him who sees me will behold me no longer; Your eyes will be on me, but I will not be.
  4. "When a cloud vanishes, it is gone, So he who goes down to Sheol does not come up.
  5. "He will not return again to his house, Nor will his place know him anymore.
  1. わたしの 一生は 機の 梭よりも 速く ／望みもないままに 過ぎ 去る．
  2. 忘れないでください ／わたしの 命は 風にすぎないことを． わたしの 目は 二度と 幸いを 見ないでしょう．
  3. わたしを 見ている 目は， やがてわたしを 見失い ／あなたが 目を 注がれても ／わたしはもういないでしょう．
  4. 密雲も 薄れ， やがて 消え 去る． そのように， 人も 陰府に 下れば ／もう， 上ってくることはない．
  5. 再びその 家に 歸ることはなく ／住みかもまた， 彼を 忘れてしまう．
  1. "Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit, I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
  2. "Am I the sea, or the sea monster, That You set a guard over me?
  3. "If I say, 'My bed will comfort me, My couch will ease my complaint,'
  4. Then You frighten me with dreams And terrify me by visions;
  5. So that my soul would choose suffocation, Death rather than my pains.
  1. わたしも 口を 閉じてはいられない． 苦悶のゆえに 語り， 惱み 嘆いて 訴えよう．
  2. わたしは 海の 怪物なのか 龍なのか ／わたしに 對して 見張りを 置かれるとは．
  3. 「床に 入れば 慰めもあろう ／橫たわれば 嘆きも 治まる 」と 思ったが
  4. あなたは 夢をもってわたしをおののかせ ／幻をもって 脅かされる．
  5. わたしの 魂は 息を 奪われることを 願い ／骨にとどまるよりも 死を 選ぶ．
  1. "I waste away; I will not live forever Leave me alone, for my days are but a breath.
  2. "What is man that You magnify him, And that You are concerned about him,
  3. That You examine him every morning And try him every moment?
  4. "Will You never turn Your gaze away from me, Nor let me alone until I swallow my spittle?
  5. "Have I sinned? What have I done to You, O watcher of men? Why have You set me as Your target, So that I am a burden to myself?
  1. もうたくさんだ， いつまでも 生きていたくない． ほうっておいてください ／わたしの 一生は 空しいのです．
  2. 人間とは 何なのか． なぜあなたはこれを 大いなるものとし ／これに 心を 向けられるのか．
  3. 朝ごとに 訪れて 確かめ ／絶え 間なく 調べられる．
  4. いつまでもわたしから 目をそらされない． 唾を 飮み ¿む 間すらも ／ほうっておいてはくださらない．
  5. 人を 見張っている 方よ ／わたしが 過ちを 犯したとしても ／あなたにとってそれが 何だというのでしょう． なぜ， わたしに 狙いを 定められるのですか． なぜ， わたしを 負擔とされるのですか．
  1. "Why then do You not pardon my transgression And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust; And You will seek me, but I will not be."
  1. なぜ， わたしの 罪を 赦さず ／惡を 取り 除いてくださらないのですか． 今や， わたしは 橫たわって 塵に 返る． あなたが 搜し 求めても ／わたしはもういないでしょう．
 
  빌닷의 첫번째 충고(8:1-8:22)    
 
  1. Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
  2. "How long will you say these things, And the words of your mouth be a mighty wind?
  3. "Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert what is right?
  4. "If your sons sinned against Him, Then He delivered them into the power of their transgression.
  5. "If you would seek God And implore the compassion of the Almighty,
  1. シュア 人 ビルダド は 話し 始めた．
  2. いつまで， そんなことを 言っているのか． あなたの 口の 言葉は 激しい 風のようだ．
  3. 神が 裁きを 曲げられるだろうか． 全能者が 正義を 曲げられるだろうか．
  4. あなたの 子らが ／神に 對して 過ちを 犯したからこそ ／彼らをその 罪の 手にゆだねられたのだ．
  5. あなたが 神を 搜し 求め ／全能者に 憐れみを 乞うなら
  1. If you are pure and upright, Surely now He would rouse Himself for you And restore your righteous estate.
  2. "Though your beginning was insignificant, Yet your end will increase greatly.
  3. "Please inquire of past generations, And consider the things searched out by their fathers.
  4. "For we are only of yesterday and know nothing, Because our days on earth are as a shadow.
  5. "Will they not teach you and tell you, And bring forth words from their minds?
  1. また， あなたが 潔白な 正しい 人であるなら ／神は 必ずあなたを 顧み ／あなたの 權利を 認めて ／あなたの 家を 元どおりにしてくださる．
  2. 過去のあなたは 小さなものであったが ／未來のあなたは 非常に 大きくなるであろう．
  3. 過去の 世代に 尋ねるがよい． 父祖の 究めたところを 確かめてみるがよい．
  4. わたしたちはほんの 昨日からの 存在で ／何も 分かってはいないのだから． 地上での 日¿は 影にすぎない．
  5. 父祖はあなたを 敎え 導き ／心に 悟ったところから 語りかけるであろう．
  1. "Can the papyrus grow up without a marsh? Can the rushes grow without water?
  2. "While it is still green and not cut down, Yet it withers before any other plant.
  3. "So are the paths of all who forget God; And the hope of the godless will perish,
  4. Whose confidence is fragile, And whose trust a spider's web.
  5. "He trusts in his house, but it does not stand; He holds fast to it, but it does not endure.
  1. 沼地でもない 所で， パピルス が 育とうか ／水もないところで 葦が 茂ろうか．
  2. 芽を 出すや 否や， 切られもしないのに ／どんな 草よりも 早く 枯れる．
  3. すべて 神を 忘れる 者の 道はこのようだ． 神を 無視する 者の 望みは 消えうせ
  4. 賴みの 綱は 斷ち 切られる． よりどころはくもの 巢のようなもの．
  5. 家によりかかっても 家はそれに 堪えず ／すがりついてもそれは 立ちえない．
  1. "He thrives before the sun, And his shoots spread out over his garden.
  2. "His roots wrap around a rock pile, He grasps a house of stones.
  3. "If he is removed from his place, Then it will deny him, saying, 'I never saw you.'
  4. "Behold, this is the joy of His way; And out of the dust others will spring.
  5. "Lo, God will not reject a man of integrity, Nor will He support the evildoers.
  1. 水があれば 葦は 太陽にも 負けず ／園に 若枝を 芽生えさせる．
  2. 根を 石にまつわらせ ／その 石と 石の 奧にまで 入り ¿み
  3. その 場所では 呑み ¿まれたようでも ／お 前など 知らない， と 拒まれても
  4. 葦は， 生き 生きと 道を 探り ／ほかの 土から 芽を 出す．
  5. そのように， 無垢な 人を 退けることもせず ／惡を 行う 者の 手を 取って ／支えることもなさらない 神は
  1. "He will yet fill your mouth with laughter And your lips with shouting.
  2. "Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the tent of the wicked will be no longer."
  1. なお， あなたの 口に 笑いを 滿たし ／あなたの 唇に 歡びの 叫びを 與えてくださる．
  2. あなたを 憎む 者は 恥を 被り ／神に 逆らう 者の 天幕は 消えうせるであろう．
 
  욥의 대답(9:1-9:35)    
 
  1. Then Job answered,
  2. "In truth I know that this is so; But how can a man be in the right before God?
  3. "If one wished to dispute with Him, He could not answer Him once in a thousand times.
  4. "Wise in heart and mighty in strength, Who has defied Him without harm?
  5. "It is God who removes the mountains, they know not how, When He overturns them in His anger;
  1. ヨブ は 答えた．
  2. それは 確かにわたしも 知っている． 神より 正しいと 主張できる 人間があろうか．
  3. 神と 論爭することを 望んだとしても ／千に 一つの 答えも 得られないだろう．
  4. 御心は 知惠に 滿ち， 力に 秀でておられる． 神に 對して 頑になりながら ／なお， 無傷でいられようか．
  5. 神は 山をも 移される． 怒りによって 山を 覆されるのだと 誰が 知ろう．
  1. Who shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble;
  2. Who commands the sun not to shine, And sets a seal upon the stars;
  3. Who alone stretches out the heavens And tramples down the waves of the sea;
  4. Who makes the Bear, Orion and the Pleiades, And the chambers of the south;
  5. Who does great things, unfathomable, And wondrous works without number.
  1. 神は 大地をその 立つ 所で ¿り 動かし ／地の 柱は ¿らぐ．
  2. 神が 禁じられれば 太陽は 昇らず ／星もまた， 封じ ¿められる．
  3. 神は 自ら 天を 廣げ， 海の 高波を 踏み ¿かれる．
  4. 神は 北斗や オリオン を ／すばるや， 南の 星座を 造られた．
  5. 神は 計り 難く 大きな 業を ／數知れぬ 不思議な 業を 成し 遂げられる．
  1. "Were He to pass by me, I would not see Him; Were He to move past me, I would not perceive Him.
  2. "Were He to snatch away, who could restrain Him? Who could say to Him, 'What are You doing?'
  3. "God will not turn back His anger; Beneath Him crouch the helpers of Rahab.
  4. "How then can I answer Him, And choose my words before Him?
  5. "For though I were right, I could not answer; I would have to implore the mercy of my judge.
  1. 神がそばを 通られてもわたしは 氣づかず ／過ぎ 行かれてもそれと 悟らない．
  2. 神が 奪うのに 誰が 取り 返せよう． 「何をするのだ 」と 誰が 言いえよう．
  3. 神は 怒りを 抑えられることなく ／ ラハブ に 味方する 者も ／神の 足もとにひれ 伏すであろう．
  4. わたしのようなものがどうして 神に 答え ／神に 對して 言うべき 言葉を 選び 出せよう．
  5. わたしの 方が 正しくても， 答えることはできず ／わたしを 裁く 方に 憐れみを 乞うだけだ．
  1. "If I called and He answered me, I could not believe that He was listening to my voice.
  2. "For He bruises me with a tempest And multiplies my wounds without cause.
  3. "He will not allow me to get my breath, But saturates me with bitterness.
  4. "If it is a matter of power, behold, He is the strong one! And if it is a matter of justice, who can summon Him?
  5. "Though I am righteous, my mouth will condemn me; Though I am guiltless, He will declare me guilty.
  1. しかし， わたしが 呼びかけても 返事はなさるまい． わたしの 聲に 耳を 傾けてくださるとは 思えない．
  2. 神は 髮の 毛一筋ほどのことでわたしを 傷つけ ／理由もなくわたしに 傷を 加えられる．
  3. 息つく 暇も 與えず， 苦しみに 苦しみを 加えられる．
  4. 力に 訴えても， 見よ， 神は 强い． 正義に 訴えても ／證人となってくれるものはいない．
  5. わたしが 正しいと 主張しているのに ／口をもって 背いたことにされる． 無垢なのに， 曲がった 者とされる．
  1. "I am guiltless; I do not take notice of myself; I despise my life.
  2. "It is all one; therefore I say, 'He destroys the guiltless and the wicked.'
  3. "If the scourge kills suddenly, He mocks the despair of the innocent.
  4. "The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; He covers the faces of its judges. If it is not He, then who is it?
  5. "Now my days are swifter than a runner; They flee away, they see no good.
  1. 無垢かどうかすら， もうわたしは 知らない． 生きていたくない．
  2. だからわたしは 言う， 同じことなのだ， と ／神は 無垢な 者も 逆らう 者も ／同じように 滅ぼし 盡くされる， と．
  3. 罪もないのに， 突然， 鞭打たれ ／殺される 人の 絶望を 神は 嘲笑う．
  4. この 地は 神に 逆らう 者の 手にゆだねられている． 神がその 裁判官の 顔を 覆われたのだ． ちがうというなら， 誰がそうしたのか．
  5. わたしの 人生の 日¿は ／飛脚よりも 速く 飛び 去り ／幸せを 見ることはなかった．
  1. "They slip by like reed boats, Like an eagle that swoops on its prey.
  2. "Though I say, 'I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my sad countenance and be cheerful,'
  3. I am afraid of all my pains, I know that You will not acquit me.
  4. "I am accounted wicked, Why then should I toil in vain?
  5. "If I should wash myself with snow And cleanse my hands with lye,
  1. 葦の 小舟に 乘せられたかのように 流れ 去り ／獲物を 襲う 鷲のように 速い．
  2. 嘆きを 忘れよう ／この 有樣を 離れて 立ち 直りたいと 言ってみても
  3. 苦しみの 一つ 一つがわたしに 危¿を 抱かせ ／無罪と 認めてもらえないことがよく 分かる．
  4. わたしは 必ず 罪ありとされるのだ． なぜ， 空しく 勞することがあろうか．
  5. 雪解け 水でからだを 洗い ／灰汁で 手を 淸めても
  1. Yet You would plunge me into the pit, And my own clothes would abhor me.
  2. "For He is not a man as I am that I may answer Him, That we may go to court together.
  3. "There is no umpire between us, Who may lay his hand upon us both.
  4. "Let Him remove His rod from me, And let not dread of Him terrify me.
  5. "Then I would speak and not fear Him; But I am not like that in myself.
  1. あなたはわたしを 汚物の 中に 沈め ／着ているものさえわたしにはいとわしい．
  2. このように， 人間ともいえないような 者だが ／わたしはなお， あの 方に 言い 返したい． あの 方と 共に 裁きの 座に 出ることができるなら
  3. あの 方とわたしの 間を 調停してくれる 者 ／仲裁する 者がいるなら
  4. わたしの 上からあの 方の 杖を ／取り 拂ってくれるものがあるなら ／その 時には， あの 方の 怒りに 脅かされることなく
  5. 恐れることなくわたしは 宣言するだろう ／わたしは 正當に 扱われていない， と．
