에스겔 33:1-34:16

 하나님께로부터 파수꾼의 사명을 확인받은 에스겔은 포로로 잡혀 와 있는 자들에게 회개를 촉구하며 그들이 회개하면 회복될 것이라고 전했다. 그리고 예루살렘에 남아 있는 자들에게는 그들이 죄악을 깨닫지 못하여 황폐해질 것을 예고했다. 하나님께서는 자신의 욕심만 채우고 양떼를 돌보지 않는 거짓 목자들에 대해 심판을 선언하셨고, 자신이 참목자가 되셔서 양떼를 돌보시겠다고 약속하셨다.
  
  파수꾼 에스겔의 사명(33:1-33:33)    
 
  1. And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
  2. "Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to them, 'If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the land take one man from among them and make him their watchman,
  3. and he sees the sword coming upon the land and blows on the trumpet and warns the people,
  4. then he who hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.
  5. 'He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken warning, he would have delivered his life.
  1. 主の 言葉がわたしに 臨んだ．
  2. 「人の 子よ， あなたの 同胞に 語りかけ， 彼らに 言いなさい． わたしがある 國に 向かって 劍を 送るとき， その 國の 民は 彼らの 中から 一人の 人を 選んで 見張りとする．
  3. 彼は 劍が 國に 向かって 臨むのを 見ると， 角笛を 吹き 鳴らして 民に 警告する．
  4. 角笛の 音を 聞いた 者が， 聞いていながら 警告を 受け 入れず， 劍が 彼に 臨んで 彼を 殺したなら， 血の 責任は 彼自身にある．
  5. 彼は 角笛の 音を 聞いても 警告を 受け 入れなかったのだから， 血の 責任は 彼にある． 彼が 警告を 受け 入れていれば， 自分の 命を 救いえたはずである．
  1. 'But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman's hand.'
  2. "Now as for you, son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of Israel; so you will hear a message from My mouth and give them warning from Me.
  3. "When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require from your hand.
  4. "But if you on your part warn a wicked man to turn from his way and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, but you have delivered your life.
  5. "Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'Thus you have spoken, saying, "Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?"'
  1. しかし， 見張りが， 劍の 臨むのを 見ながら， 角笛を 吹かず， 民が 警告を 受けぬままに 劍が 臨み， 彼らのうちから 一人の 命でも 奪われるなら， たとえその 人は 自分の 罪のゆえに 死んだとしても， 血の 責任をわたしは 見張りの 手に 求める．
  2. 人の 子よ， わたしはあなたを イスラエル の 家の 見張りとした． あなたが， わたしの 口から 言葉を 聞いたなら， わたしの 警告を 彼らに 傳えねばならない．
  3. わたしが 惡人に 向かって， 『惡人よ， お 前は 必ず 死なねばならない 』と 言うとき， あなたが 惡人に 警告し， 彼がその 道から 離れるように 語らないなら， 惡人は 自分の 罪のゆえに 死んでも， 血の 責任をわたしはお 前の 手に 求める．
  4. しかし， もしあなたが 惡人に 對してその 道から 立ち 歸るよう 警告したのに， 彼がその 道から 立ち 歸らなかったのなら， 彼は 自分の 罪のゆえに 死に， あなたは 自分の 命を 救う．
  5. 人の 子よ， イスラエル の 家に 言いなさい． お 前たちはこう 言っている． 『我¿の 背きと 過ちは 我¿の 上にあり， 我¿はやせ 衰える． どうして 生きることができようか 』と．
  1. "Say to them, 'As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, 'I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?'
  2. "And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens, 'The righteousness of a righteous man will not deliver him in the day of his transgression, and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not stumble because of it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous man will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.'
  3. "When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but in that same iniquity of his which he has committed he will die.
  4. "But when I say to the wicked, 'You will surely die,' and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness,
  5. if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die.
  1. 彼らに 言いなさい． わたしは 生きている， と 主なる 神は 言われる． わたしは 惡人が 死ぬのを 喜ばない． むしろ， 惡人がその 道から 立ち 歸って 生きることを 喜ぶ． 立ち 歸れ， 立ち 歸れ， お 前たちの 惡しき 道から． イスラエル の 家よ， どうしてお 前たちは 死んでよいだろうか．
  2. 人の 子よ， あなたの 同胞に 言いなさい． 正しい 人の 正しさも， 彼が 背くときには， 自分を 救うことができない． また， 惡人の 惡も， 彼がその 惡から 立ち 歸るときには， 自分をつまずかせることはない． 正しい 人でも， 過ちを 犯すときには， その 正しさによって 生きることはできない．

  2. "Yet your fellow citizens say, 'The way of the Lord is not right,' when it is their own way that is not right.
  3. "When the righteous turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, then he shall die in it.
  4. "But when the wicked turns from his wickedness and practices justice and righteousness, he will live by them.
  5. "Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not right.' O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways."
  1. 彼の 犯したすべての 過ちは 思い 起こされず， 正義と 惠みの 業を 行った 者は 必ず 生きる．
  2. それなのに， あなたの 同胞は 言っている． 『主の 道は 正しくない 』と． しかし 正しくないのは 彼らの 道である．

  1. Now in the twelfth year of our exile, on the fifth of the tenth month, the refugees from Jerusalem came to me, saying, "The city has been taken."
  2. Now the hand of the LORD had been upon me in the evening, before the refugees came And He opened my mouth at the time they came to me in the morning; so my mouth was opened and I was no longer speechless.
  3. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  4. "Son of man, they who live in these waste places in the land of Israel are saying, 'Abraham was only one, yet he possessed the land; so to us who are many the land has been given as a possession.'
  5. "Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "You eat meat with the blood in it, lift up your eyes to your idols as you shed blood Should you then possess the land?
  1. 我¿の 捕囚の 第十二年十月五日に， エルサレム から 逃れた 者がわたしのもとに 來て 言った． 「都は 陷落した 」と．
  2. その 逃れた 者が 來る 前の 晩， 主の 手がわたしの 上に 置かれ， 翌朝， 彼がわたしのもとに 來る 前に， 主はわたしの 口を 開かれた． 口が 開かれて， わたしはもはや 默していなかった．

  1. "You rely on your sword, you commit abominations and each of you defiles his neighbor's wife. Should you then possess the land?"'
  2. "Thus you shall say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "As I live, surely those who are in the waste places will fall by the sword, and whoever is in the open field I will give to the beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the strongholds and in the caves will die of pestilence.
  3. "I will make the land a desolation and a waste, and the pride of her power will cease; and the mountains of Israel will be desolate so that no one will pass through.
  4. "Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I make the land a desolation and a waste because of all their abominations which they have committed."'
  5. "But as for you, son of man, your fellow citizens who talk about you by the walls and in the doorways of the houses, speak to one another, each to his brother, saying, 'Come now and hear what the message is which comes forth from the LORD.'
  1. お 前たちは 劍を 賴みとし， 忌まわしいことを 行い， おのおの 隣人の 妻を 犯している． それでも， お 前たちはこの 土地を 所有できるのか．
  2. それゆえ， 彼らにこう 言いなさい． 主なる 神はこう 言われる． わたしは 生きている． 廢虛にいる 者たちは 必ず 劍に 倒れる． 野にいる 者はすべて， ¿に 餌食として 與え， 砦と 洞穴にいる 者たちは 疫病によって 死ぬ．

  1. "They come to you as people come, and sit before you as My people and hear your words, but they do not do them, for they do the lustful desires expressed by their mouth, and their heart goes after their gain.
  2. "Behold, you are to them like a sensual song by one who has a beautiful voice and plays well on an instrument; for they hear your words but they do not practice them.
  3. "So when it comes to pass--as surely it will--then they will know that a prophet has been in their midst."
  1. そして， 彼らはあなたのもとに 來る． 民は 來て， あなたの 前に 座り， あなたの 言葉を 聞きはするが， それを 行いはしない． 彼らは 口では 好意を 示すが， 心は 利益に 向かっている．

  거짓 목자들과 참 목자(34:1-34:16)    
 
  1. Then the word of the LORD came to me saying,
  2. "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel Prophesy and say to those shepherds, 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock?
  3. "You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock.
  4. "Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost; but with force and with severity you have dominated them.
  5. "They were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every beast of the field and were scattered.
  1. 主の 言葉がわたしに 臨んだ．
  2. 「人の 子よ， イスラエル の 牧者たちに 對して 預言し， 牧者である 彼らに 語りなさい． 主なる 神はこう 言われる． 災いだ， 自分自身を 養う イスラエル の 牧者たちは． 牧者は 群れを 養うべきではないか．
  3. お 前たちは 乳を 飮み， 羊毛を 身にまとい， 肥えた 動物を 屠るが， 群れを 養おうとはしない．
  4. お 前たちは 弱いものを 强めず， 病めるものをいやさず， 傷ついたものを 包んでやらなかった． また， 追われたものを 連れ 戾さず， 失われたものを 探し 求めず， かえって 力ずくで， 苛酷に 群れを 支配した．

  1. "My flock wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them."'"
  2. Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
  3. "As I live," declares the Lord GOD, "surely because My flock has become a prey, My flock has even become food for all the beasts of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock;
  4. therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:
  5. 'Thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them."'"
  1. わたしの 群れは， すべての 山， すべての 高い 丘の 上で 迷う． また， わたしの 群れは 地の 全面に 散らされ， だれひとり， 探す 者もなく， 尋ね 求める 者もない．
  2. それゆえ， 牧者たちよ． 主の 言葉を 聞け．
  3. わたしは 生きている， と 主なる 神は 言われる． まことに， わたしの 群れは 略奪にさらされ， わたしの 群れは 牧者がいないため， あらゆる 野の ¿の 餌食になろうとしているのに， わたしの 牧者たちは 群れを 探しもしない． 牧者は 群れを 養わず， 自分自身を 養っている．
  4. それゆえ 牧者たちよ， 主の 言葉を 聞け．
  5. 主なる 神はこう 言われる． 見よ， わたしは 牧者たちに 立ち 向かう． わたしの 群れを 彼らの 手から 求め， 彼らに 群れを 飼うことをやめさせる． 牧者たちが， 自分自身を 養うことはもはやできない． わたしが 彼らの 口から 群れを 救い 出し， 彼らの 餌食にはさせないからだ．
  1. For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.
  2. "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.
  3. "I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.
  4. "I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.
  5. "I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest," declares the Lord GOD.
  1. まことに， 主なる 神はこう 言われる． 見よ， わたしは 自ら 自分の 群れを 探し 出し， 彼らの 世話をする．
  2. 牧者が， 自分の 羊がちりぢりになっているときに， その 群れを 探すように， わたしは 自分の 羊を 探す． わたしは 雲と 密雲の 日に 散らされた 群れを， すべての 場所から 救い 出す．
  3. わたしは 彼らを 諸國の 民の 中から 連れ 出し， 諸國から 集めて 彼らの 土地に 導く． わたしは イスラエル の 山¿， 谷間， また 居住地で 彼らを 養う．
  4. わたしは 良い 牧草地で 彼らを 養う． イスラエル の 高い 山¿は 彼らの 牧場となる． 彼らは イスラエル の 山¿で 憩い， 良い 牧場と 肥沃な 牧草地で 養われる．
  5. わたしがわたしの 群れを 養い， 憩わせる， と 主なる 神は 言われる．
  1. "I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick; but the fat and the strong I will destroy I will feed them with judgment.
  1. わたしは 失われたものを 尋ね 求め， 追われたものを 連れ 戾し， 傷ついたものを 包み， 弱ったものを 强くする． しかし， 肥えたものと 强いものを 滅ぼす． わたしは 公平をもって 彼らを 養う．
