- Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
- And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
- and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.
- Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
- The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

- わたしはまた， 一人の 天使が， 底なしの 淵の 鍵と 大きな 鎖とを 手にして， 天から 降って 來るのを 見た．
- この 天使は， 惡魔でも サタン でもある， 年を 經たあの 蛇， つまり 龍を 取り 押さえ， 千年の 間縛っておき，
- 底なしの 淵に 投げ 入れ， 鍵をかけ， その 上に 封印を 施して， 千年が 終わるまで， もうそれ 以上， 諸國の 民を 惑わさないようにした． その 後で， 龍はしばらくの 間， 解放されるはずである．
- わたしはまた， 多くの 座を 見た． その 上には 座っている 者たちがおり， 彼らには 裁くことが 許されていた． わたしはまた， イエス の 證しと 神の 言葉のために， 首をはねられた 者たちの 魂を 見た． この 者たちは， あの ¿もその 像も 拜まず， 額や 手に ¿の 刻印を 受けなかった． 彼らは 生き 返って， キリスト と 共に 千年の 間統治した．
- その 他の 死者は， 千年たつまで 生き 返らなかった． これが 第一の 復活である．

- Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.
- When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,
- and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.
- And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
- And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

- 第一の 復活にあずかる 者は， 幸いな 者， 聖なる 者である． この 者たちに 對して， 第二の 死は 何の 力もない． 彼らは 神と キリスト の 祭司となって， 千年の 間 キリスト と 共に 統治する．
- この 千年が 終わると， サタン はその 牢から 解放され，
- 地上の 四方にいる 諸國の 民， ゴグ と マゴグ を 惑わそうとして 出て 行き， 彼らを 集めて 戰わせようとする． その 數は 海の 砂のように 多い．
- 彼らは 地上の 廣い 場所に 攻め 上って 行って， 聖なる 者たちの 陣營と， 愛された 都とを 圍んだ． すると， 天から 火が 下って 來て， 彼らを 燒き 盡くした．
- そして 彼らを 惑わした 惡魔は， 火と 硫黃の 池に 投げ ¿まれた． そこにはあの ¿と 僞預言者がいる． そして， この 者どもは ¿も 夜も 世¿限りなく 責めさいなまれる．

- Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.
- And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.
- And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.
- Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire This is the second death, the lake of fire.
- And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

- わたしはまた， 大きな 白い 玉座と， そこに 座っておられる 方とを 見た． 天も 地も， その 御前から 逃げて 行き， 行方が 分からなくなった．
- わたしはまた， 死者たちが， 大きな 者も 小さな 者も， 玉座の 前に 立っているのを 見た． 幾つかの 書物が 開かれたが， もう 一つの 書物も 開かれた． それは 命の 書である． 死者たちは， これらの 書物に 書かれていることに 基づき， 彼らの 行いに 應じて 裁かれた．
- 海は， その 中にいた 死者を 外に 出した． 死と 陰府も， その 中にいた 死者を 出し， 彼らはそれぞれ 自分の 行いに 應じて 裁かれた．
- 死も 陰府も 火の 池に 投げ ¿まれた． この 火の 池が 第二の 死である．
- その 名が 命の 書に 記されていない 者は， 火の 池に 投げ ¿まれた．
