이사야 59:1-60:22

 이사야는 부조리로 가득 찬 이스라엘 백성들의 불의를 지적하고 그들의 죄악에 대해 하나님께 고백한 후, 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님께서 절망적인 인간의 구원을 위해 구속자를 통한 새 언약을 주셨다고 하였다. 하나님께서는 예전에 이스라엘을 억압하던 국가들이 이스라엘에게 복종함으로 이스라엘이 영구한 평화를 누리고 열방 중에 높임받게 될 것이라는 약속을 하셨다.
  
  죄와 구원 사역(59:1-59:21)    
 
  1. Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear.
  2. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
  3. For your hands are defiled with blood And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken falsehood, Your tongue mutters wickedness.
  4. No one sues righteously and no one pleads honestly They trust in confusion and speak lies; They conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity.
  5. They hatch adders' eggs and weave the spider's web; He who eats of their eggs dies, And from that which is crushed a snake breaks forth.
  1. 여호와의 손이 짧아 구원하지 못하심도 아니요 귀가 둔하여 듣지 못하심도 아니라
  2. 오직 너희 죄악이 너희와 너희 하나님 사이를 갈라 놓았고 너희 죄가 그의 얼굴을 가리어서 너희에게서 듣지 않으시게 함이니라
  3. 이는 너희 손이 피에, 너희 손가락이 죄악에 더러워졌으며 너희 입술은 거짓을 말하며 너희 혀는 악독을 냄이라
  4. 공의대로 소송하는 자도 없고 진실하게 판결하는 자도 없으며 허망한 것을 의뢰하며 거짓을 말하며 악행을 잉태하여 죄악을 낳으며
  5. 독사의 알을 품으며 거미줄을 짜나니 그 알을 먹는 자는 죽을 것이요 그 알이 밟힌즉 터져서 독사가 나올 것이니라
  1. Their webs will not become clothing, Nor will they cover themselves with their works; Their works are works of iniquity, And an act of violence is in their hands.
  2. Their feet run to evil, And they hasten to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity, Devastation and destruction are in their highways.
  3. They do not know the way of peace, And there is no justice in their tracks; They have made their paths crooked, Whoever treads on them does not know peace.
  4. Therefore justice is far from us, And righteousness does not overtake us; We hope for light, but behold, darkness, For brightness, but we walk in gloom.
  5. We grope along the wall like blind men, We grope like those who have no eyes; We stumble at midday as in the twilight, Among those who are vigorous we are like dead men.
  1. 그 짠 것으로는 옷을 이룰 수 없을 것이요 그 행위로는 자기를 가릴 수 없을 것이며 그 행위는 죄악의 행위라 그 손에는 포악한 행동이 있으며
  2. 그 발은 행악하기에 빠르고 무죄한 피를 흘리기에 신속하며 그 생각은 악한 생각이라 황폐와 파멸이 그 길에 있으며
  3. 그들은 평강의 길을 알지 못하며 그들이 행하는 곳에는 정의가 없으며 굽은 길을 스스로 만드나니 무릇 이 길을 밟는 자는 평강을 알지 못하느니라
  4. 그러므로 정의가 우리에게서 멀고 공의가 우리에게 미치지 못한즉 우리가 빛을 바라나 어둠뿐이요 밝은 것을 바라나 캄캄한 가운데에 행하므로
  5. 우리가 맹인 같이 담을 더듬으며 눈 없는 자 같이 두루 더듬으며 낮에도 황혼 때 같이 넘어지니 우리는 강장한 자 중에서도 죽은 자 같은지라
  1. All of us growl like bears, And moan sadly like doves; We hope for justice, but there is none, For salvation, but it is far from us.
  2. For our transgressions are multiplied before You, And our sins testify against us; For our transgressions are with us, And we know our iniquities:
  3. Transgressing and denying the LORD, And turning away from our God, Speaking oppression and revolt, Conceiving in and uttering from the heart lying words.
  4. Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands far away; For truth has stumbled in the street, And uprightness cannot enter.
  5. Yes, truth is lacking; And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey Now the LORD saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.
  1. 우리가 곰 같이 부르짖으며 비둘기 같이 슬피 울며 정의를 바라나 없고 구원을 바라나 우리에게서 멀도다
  2. 이는 우리의 허물이 주의 앞에 심히 많으며 우리의 죄가 우리를 쳐서 증언하오니 이는 우리의 허물이 우리와 함께 있음이니라 우리의 죄악을 우리가 아나이다
  3. 우리가 여호와를 배반하고 속였으며 우리 하나님을 따르는 데에서 돌이켜 포학과 패역을 말하며 거짓말을 마음에 잉태하여 낳으니
  4. 정의가 뒤로 물리침이 되고 공의가 멀리 섰으며 성실이 거리에 엎드러지고 정직이 나타나지 못하는도다
  5. 성실이 없어지므로 악을 떠나는 자가 탈취를 당하는도다 여호와께서 이를 살피시고 그 정의가 없는 것을 기뻐하지 아니하시고
  1. And He saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.
  2. He put on righteousness like a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; And He put on garments of vengeance for clothing And wrapped Himself with zeal as a mantle.
  3. According to their deeds, so He will repay, Wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; To the coastlands He will make recompense.
  4. So they will fear the name of the LORD from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the LORD drives.
  5. "A Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," declares the LORD.
  1. 사람이 없음을 보시며 중재자가 없음을 이상히 여기셨으므로 자기 팔로 스스로 구원을 베푸시며 자기의 공의를 스스로 의지하사
  2. 공의를 갑옷으로 삼으시며 구원을 자기의 머리에 써서 투구로 삼으시며 보복을 속옷으로 삼으시며 열심을 입어 겉옷으로 삼으시고
  3. 그들의 행위대로 갚으시되 그 원수에게 분노하시며 그 원수에게 보응하시며 섬들에게 보복하실 것이라
  4. 서쪽에서 여호와의 이름을 두려워하겠고 해 돋는 쪽에서 그의 영광을 두려워할 것은 여호와께서 그 기운에 몰려 급히 흐르는 강물 같이 오실 것임이로다
  5. 여호와의 말씀이니라 구속자가 시온에 임하며 야곱의 자손 가운데에서 죄과를 떠나는 자에게 임하리라
  1. "As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the LORD: "My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring," says the LORD, "from now and forever."
  1. 여호와께서 이르시되 내가 그들과 세운 나의 언약이 이러하니 곧 네 위에 있는 나의 영과 네 입에 둔 나의 말이 이제부터 영원하도록 네 입에서와 네 후손의 입에서와 네 후손의 후손의 입에서 떠나지 아니하리라 하시니라 여호와의 말씀이니라
 
  시온의 영광(60:1-60:22)    
 
  1. "Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
  2. "For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.
  3. "Nations will come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.
  4. "Lift up your eyes round about and see; They all gather together, they come to you Your sons will come from afar, And your daughters will be carried in the arms.
  5. "Then you will see and be radiant, And your heart will thrill and rejoice; Because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, The wealth of the nations will come to you.
  1. 일어나라 빛을 발하라 이는 네 빛이 이르렀고 여호와의 영광이 네 위에 임하였음이니라
  2. 보라 어둠이 땅을 덮을 것이며 캄캄함이 만민을 가리려니와 오직 여호와께서 네 위에 임하실 것이며 그의 영광이 네 위에 나타나리니
  3. 나라들은 네 빛으로, 왕들은 비치는 네 광명으로 나아오리라
  4. 네 눈을 들어 사방을 보라 무리가 다 모여 네게로 오느니라 네 아들들은 먼 곳에서 오겠고 네 딸들은 안기어 올 것이라
  5. 그 때에 네가 보고 기쁜 빛을 내며 네 마음이 놀라고 또 화창하리니 이는 바다의 부가 네게로 돌아오며 이방 나라들의 재물이 네게로 옴이라
  1. "A multitude of camels will cover you, The young camels of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba will come; They will bring gold and frankincense, And will bear good news of the praises of the LORD.
  2. "All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth will minister to you; They will go up with acceptance on My altar, And I shall glorify My glorious house.
  3. "Who are these who fly like a cloud And like the doves to their lattices?
  4. "Surely the coastlands will wait for Me; And the ships of Tarshish will come first, To bring your sons from afar, Their silver and their gold with them, For the name of the LORD your God, And for the Holy One of Israel because He has glorified you.
  5. "Foreigners will build up your walls, And their kings will minister to you; For in My wrath I struck you, And in My favor I have had compassion on you.
  1. 허다한 낙타, 미디안과 에바의 어린 낙타가 네 가운데에 가득할 것이며 스바 사람들은 다 금과 유향을 가지고 와서 여호와의 찬송을 전파할 것이며
  2. 게달의 양 무리는 다 네게로 모일 것이요 느바욧의 숫양은 네게 공급되고 내 제단에 올라 기꺼이 받음이 되리니 내가 내 영광의 집을 영화롭게 하리라
  3. 저 구름 같이, 비둘기들이 그 보금자리로 날아가는 것 같이 날아오는 자들이 누구냐
  4. 곧 섬들이 나를 앙망하고 다시스의 배들이 먼저 이르되 먼 곳에서 네 자손과 그들의 은금을 아울러 싣고 와서 네 하나님 여호와의 이름에 드리려 하며 이스라엘의 거룩한 이에게 드리려 하는 자들이라 이는 내가 너를 영화롭게 하였음이라
  5. 내가 노하여 너를 쳤으나 이제는 나의 은혜로 너를 불쌍히 여겼은즉 이방인들이 네 성벽을 쌓을 것이요 그들의 왕들이 너를 섬길 것이며
  1. "Your gates will be open continually; They will not be closed day or night, So that men may bring to you the wealth of the nations, With their kings led in procession.
  2. "For the nation and the kingdom which will not serve you will perish, And the nations will be utterly ruined.
  3. "The glory of Lebanon will come to you, The juniper, the box tree and the cypress together, To beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I shall make the place of My feet glorious.
  4. "The sons of those who afflicted you will come bowing to you, And all those who despised you will bow themselves at the soles of your feet; And they will call you the city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
  5. "Whereas you have been forsaken and hated With no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, A joy from generation to generation.
  1. 네 성문이 항상 열려 주야로 닫히지 아니하리니 이는 사람들이 네게로 이방 나라들의 재물을 가져오며 그들의 왕들을 포로로 이끌어 옴이라
  2. 너를 섬기지 아니하는 백성과 나라는 파멸하리니 그 백성들은 반드시 진멸되리라
  3. 레바논의 영광 곧 잣나무와 소나무와 황양목이 함께 네게 이르러 내 거룩한 곳을 아름답게 할 것이며 내가 나의 발 둘 곳을 영화롭게 할 것이라
  4. 너를 괴롭히던 자의 자손이 몸을 굽혀 네게 나아오며 너를 멸시하던 모든 자가 네 발 아래에 엎드려 너를 일컬어 여호와의 성읍이라, 이스라엘의 거룩한 이의 시온이라 하리라
  5. 전에는 네가 버림을 당하며 미움을 당하였으므로 네게로 가는 자가 없었으나 이제는 내가 너를 영원한 아름다움과 대대의 기쁨이 되게 하리니
  1. "You will also suck the milk of nations And suck the breast of kings; Then you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
  2. "Instead of bronze I will bring gold, And instead of iron I will bring silver, And instead of wood, bronze, And instead of stones, iron. And I will make peace your administrators And righteousness your overseers.
  3. "Violence will not be heard again in your land, Nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.
  4. "No longer will you have the sun for light by day, Nor for brightness will the moon give you light; But you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, And your God for your glory.
  5. "Your sun will no longer set, Nor will your moon wane; For you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, And the days of your mourning will be over.
  1. 네가 이방 나라들의 젖을 빨며 뭇 왕의 젖을 빨고 나 여호와는 네 구원자, 네 구속자, 야곱의 전능자인 줄 알리라
  2. 내가 금을 가지고 놋을 대신하며 은을 가지고 철을 대신하며 놋으로 나무를 대신하며 철로 돌을 대신하며 화평을 세워 관원으로 삼으며 공의를 세워 감독으로 삼으리니
  3. 다시는 강포한 일이 네 땅에 들리지 않을 것이요 황폐와 파멸이 네 국경 안에 다시 없을 것이며 네가 네 성벽을 구원이라, 네 성문을 찬송이라 부를 것이라
  4. 다시는 낮에 해가 네 빛이 되지 아니하며 달도 네게 빛을 비추지 않을 것이요 오직 여호와가 네게 영원한 빛이 되며 네 하나님이 네 영광이 되리니
  5. 다시는 네 해가 지지 아니하며 네 달이 물러가지 아니할 것은 여호와가 네 영원한 빛이 되고 네 슬픔의 날이 끝날 것임이라
  1. "Then all your people will be righteous; They will possess the land forever, The branch of My planting, The work of My hands, That I may be glorified.
  2. "The smallest one will become a clan, And the least one a mighty nation. I, the LORD, will hasten it in its time."
  1. 네 백성이 다 의롭게 되어 영원히 땅을 차지하리니 그들은 내가 심은 가지요 내가 손으로 만든 것으로서 나의 영광을 나타낼 것인즉
  2. 그 작은 자가 천 명을 이루겠고 그 약한 자가 강국을 이룰 것이라 때가 되면 나 여호와가 속히 이루리라
