잠언 16:31-17:6

 제사를 드리면서 다투는 것보다 야웨를 경외함으로 서로 화목하는 것이 더 낫다.
  
 
  1. A gray head is a crown of glory; It is found in the way of righteousness.
  2. He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city.
  3. The lot is cast into the lap, But its every decision is from the LORD.
 
 
  1. Better is a dry morsel and quietness with it Than a house full of feasting with strife.
  2. A servant who acts wisely will rule over a son who acts shamefully, And will share in the inheritance among brothers.
  3. The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the LORD tests hearts.
  4. An evildoer listens to wicked lips; A liar pays attention to a destructive tongue.
  5. He who mocks the poor taunts his Maker; He who rejoices at calamity will not go unpunished.
  1. Grandchildren are the crown of old men, And the glory of sons is their fathers.
