- しかし， もしその 僕が， 主人の 歸りがおそいと 心の 中で 思い， 男女の 召使たちを 打ちたたき， そして 食べたり， 飮んだりして 醉いはじめるならば，
- その 僕の 主人は 思いがけない 日， 氣がつかない 時に 歸って 來るであろう． そして， 彼を 嚴罰に 處して， 不忠實なものたちと 同じ 目にあわせるであろう．
- 主人のこころを 知っていながら， それに 從って 用意もせず 勤めもしなかった 僕は， 多くむち 打たれるであろう．
- しかし， 知らずに 打たれるようなことをした 者は， 打たれ 方が 少ないだろう． 多く 與えられた 者からは 多く 求められ， 多く 任せられた 者からは 更に 多く 要求されるのである．
