	365 일독성경 8월 10일 (1)

	에스라 8:21-9:15 에스라는 아하와 강가에서 백성들에게 금식을 선포하고 예루살렘에 이르는 동안 인생길 어려움에 대하여 하나님의 도우심을 구하였다. 예루살렘에 안착한 후, 방백들은 에스라에게 와서 이방 여인과 결혼한 백성들의 죄를 알렸다. 이에 에스라는 백성들의 범죄로 인하여 큰 근심 가운데 하나님께 통곡하며 회개 기도를 하였다.

	에스라가 가져온 물품(8:21-8:36)

Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God to seek from Him a safe journey for us, our little ones, and all our possessions.

For I was ashamed to request from the king troops and horsemen to protect us from the enemy on the way, because we had said to the king, "The hand of our God is favorably disposed to all those who seek Him, but His power and His anger are against all those who forsake Him."

So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our entreaty.

Then I set apart twelve of the leading priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and with them ten of their brothers;

and I weighed out to them the silver, the gold and the utensils, the offering for the house of our God which the king and his counselors and his princes and all Israel present there had offered.

Thus I weighed into their hands 650 talents of silver, and silver utensils worth 100 talents, and 100 gold talents,

and 20 gold bowls worth 1,000 darics, and two utensils of fine shiny bronze, precious as gold.

Then I said to them, "You are holy to the LORD, and the utensils are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to the LORD God of your fathers.

"Watch and keep them until you weigh them before the leading priests, the Levites and the heads of the fathers' households of Israel at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD."

So the priests and the Levites accepted the weighed out silver and gold and the utensils, to bring them to Jerusalem to the house of our God.

私は銀六百五十タラント，また，百タラント相當の銀の器類，および，金百タラントを量って彼らに渡した．

Then we journeyed from the river Ahava on the twelfth of the first month to go to Jerusalem; and the hand of our God was over us, and He delivered us from the hand of the enemy and the ambushes by the way.

Thus we came to Jerusalem and remained there three days.

On the fourth day the silver and the gold and the utensils were weighed out in the house of our God into the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest, and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them were the Levites, Jozabad the son of Jeshua and Noadiah the son of Binnui.

Everything was numbered and weighed, and all the weight was recorded at that time.

The exiles who had come from the captivity offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: 12 bulls for all Israel, 96 rams, 77 lambs, 12 male goats for a sin offering, all as a burnt offering to the LORD.

私たちはエルサレムに行こうと，第一の月の十二日にアハワ川を出發した．私たちの神の御手が私たちの上にあって，その道中，敵の手，待ち伏せする者の手から，私たちを救い出してくださった．

こうして，私たちはエルサレムに着いて，そこに三日間とどまった．

Then they delivered the king's edicts to the king's satraps and to the governors in the provinces beyond the River, and they supported the people and the house of God.

	에스라의 통치(9:1-9:15)

Now when these things had been completed, the princes approached me, saying, "The people of Israel and the priests and the Levites have not separated themselves from the peoples of the lands, according to their abominations, those of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians and the Amorites.

"For they have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy race has intermingled with the peoples of the lands; indeed, the hands of the princes and the rulers have been foremost in this unfaithfulness."

When I heard about this matter, I tore my garment and my robe, and pulled some of the hair from my head and my beard, and sat down appalled.

Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel on account of the unfaithfulness of the exiles gathered to me, and I sat appalled until the evening offering.

But at the evening offering I arose from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn, and I fell on my knees and stretched out my hands to the LORD my God;

これらのことが終わって後，つかさたちが私のところに近づいて來て次のように言った．「イスラエルの民や，祭司や，レビ人は，カナン人，ヘテ人，ペリジ人，エブス人，アモン人，モアブ人，エジプト人，エモリ人などの，忌みきらうべき國¿の民と緣を絶つことなく，

and I said, "O my God, I am ashamed and embarrassed to lift up my face to You, my God, for our iniquities have risen above our heads and our guilt has grown even to the heavens.

"Since the days of our fathers to this day we have been in great guilt, and on account of our iniquities we, our kings and our priests have been given into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity and to plunder and to open shame, as it is this day.

"But now for a brief moment grace has been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us an escaped remnant and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage.

"For we are slaves; yet in our bondage our God has not forsaken us, but has extended lovingkindness to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us reviving to raise up the house of our God, to restore its ruins and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

"Now, our God, what shall we say after this? For we have forsaken Your commandments,

言った．「私の神よ．私は恥を受け，私の神であるあなたに向かって顔を上げるのも恥ずかしく思います．私たちの咎は私たちの頭より高く增し加わり，私たちの罪過は大きく天にまで達したからです．

which You have commanded by Your servants the prophets, saying, 'The land which you are entering to possess is an unclean land with the uncleanness of the peoples of the lands, with their abominations which have filled it from end to end and with their impurity.

'So now do not give your daughters to their sons nor take their daughters to your sons, and never seek their peace or their prosperity, that you may be strong and eat the good things of the land and leave it as an inheritance to your sons forever.'

"After all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and our great guilt, since You our God have requited us less than our iniquities deserve, and have given us an escaped remnant as this,

shall we again break Your commandments and intermarry with the peoples who commit these abominations? Would You not be angry with us to the point of destruction, until there is no remnant nor any who escape?

"O LORD God of Israel, You are righteous, for we have been left an escaped remnant, as it is this day; behold, we are before You in our guilt, for no one can stand before You because of this."

あなたは，あなたのしもべ，預言者たちによって，こう命じておられました．『あなたがたが，はいって行って所有しようとしている地は，そこの國¿の民の，忌みきらうべき行ないによって汚された汚らわしい地であり，その隅¿まで，彼らの汚れで滿たされている．
